I saw it at The Kennedy Center. It was borderline non-sensical
I only saw this twice on Broadway. Not sure if I liked it... should probably see it again a few more times before I decide.
The voices were beautiful. The acting was stiff, and the play itself was disjointed and had no payoff for any of the storylines. I regret the time I spent watching this.
That's unfortunate. I saw it on Broadway twice and would go back again. Maybe the touring company has a different cast. As far as the story, I really enjoyed they way they tied the themes together without being so literal.
