My family loves the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, their music has been a big part of the soundtrack of my life, been listening to them since I was 11-12. I love and own all 3 Will The Circle Be Unbroken CD’s. Our 3 sons listened to all our Nitty Gritty albums. On October 24th, 2012, my husband and I took our oldest son to see NGDB at this year’s beautiful old Art Deco theater, in Bellingham, the concert was excellent!!! I miss Jimmy too and John…

This is one of the best albums. My brothers band has come out with. They are sounding so good.❤ it’s nice to have it on the road playing it on the trip.! Much love to all the fans and all of the years. This music is help me and my wife who are both going through cancer right now it gives us strength and reminds us of the days when the world was together and we weren’t fighting between parties. Government was the government and people where playing ATrak, stereotypes, were people, we used to have the best outdoor concerts back in the days Joan Baez, the doors, the time of peace and love God bless you all may we be able to get along with each other! I have hope for the Z generation to unplug their phones, and go lay down in the grass and play the guitars and tell poems! And remember Joni, Mitchell and Donovan! They are amazing. Most of these guys the same as Hanna, Fadden and Carpenter embarrass themselves. These genetic freaks are as good and vibrant as ever. If Ibby got the genes he'd still be around. Alas he's mortal like the 99.9% of us that age out

My mom and I would watch the NGDB DVD 50 year celebration Live at the Ryman Auditorium every night up until she died this past January (age 92). You gave us both great joy singing along with you for many years. She would have loved this.
My brother could Travis Pick every song Dylan and NGDB ever released, and we'd all croak along the best we could. We lost him this past May. I will miss the journey we would have taken listening to these tracks. He was also the brother who turned me onto NGDB back in the early 70s. One of his favorite tunes by NGDB was "Lonesome Fiddle Blues."

I am sad to discover this band so late yet happy to discover whole new music branch that will slowly grow up on me.
Just saw the NGDB in Charleston SC Saturday night. In this small venue the band excelled. Jeff is such an iconic front man who led the band through a fabulous set list. Every musician contributes wonderfully to each song. Jamie’s voice and guitar playing is strong!

I just got back from seeing the Eagles farewell tour and now i am geaded to KY in March to see the Dirt Band on thiers. So sad to see the end of these great bands from my youth...ah, the memories!
We saw the Eagles FT at Rupp last fall and will be in Renfro Valley for the Dirt Band as well. It's amazing how great groups bring people together. See ya there! Safe travels.

My Brother travelled the World as a Merchant Seaman and was tough as Teak.He met Swedish Lass early Twenty's in Home Town and was smitten things didn't work out and Liz left 50 years later i now know how much he cherished her.This song was on his list at Funeral,I miss him.

I do too. Jamie's voice might be the ONLY voice that would fit here besides him. And at 3:09, perhaps he's imagining the man who might be his namesake in his place. Fitting, because Jimmy Ibbotson wanted to do more of the non-NGDB canon.

Can I sày I miss jimmy tillotson
I so wish Jimmy would come play this last tour with them. They had so much fun back in the day. They played Lexington, KY on a regular basis and our group was there every weekend to enjoy them. I'll probably be in tears the entire time they play in Renfro Valley, KY this month.

You know the singer is Jeff's son, Jamie ? I miss John & Jimmy too in this band .. But you can still find them doing shows on CZcams. John has two very talented sons he performs with.. Id say this was an awesome cover of a song I'm not sure Ive ever heard..Makes me want to hear more of this album..

About 29 years they did a show in a rainstorm. In my hometown: they could have canceled but ignored the authorities.That is true dedication

@@p3deep Thank you for answering. I toured with them back in the 80's. It was Jeff, Jimmy Ibbottson, Bob Carpenter and Jimmie Fadden. A lot of change since then. I miss Ibby.
