I watched this in the theatre last night. Truly amazing. A brilliant production and well worth a watch if you have just enjoyed this video.
Just saw the musical last night, with this cast as well, and it was way better than I thought it’d be. Really enjoyable and well made.
Thank you for honouring the irreplaceable Robin Williams in a respectful and loving way , it is no less then he deserves,

I just love it so much that they have a musical tribute to one of the most iconic scenes from Mrs doubtfire. And what a tribute it is
I went to see this show while it was in previews in Manchester, UK. Really brilliant show, very faithful to the movie. The cast are all fab too, Gabriel Vick especially was a standout as Daniel - he didn't try to recreate the genius of Williams' Mrs. Doubtfire, he honoured it with his performance. I'd definitely recommend seeing it, you'll leave with a big smile on your face from laughing too much.
I was surprisingly impressed with this and actually really enjoyed it, and I'm not usually a big fan of musicals! 😂 But this was really good and I loved david tennants interactions with him at the end! 😊😂

I saw this on the West End yesterday and I’m furious..
FURIOUS THAT I CANT SEE IT FIR THE FIRST TIME AGAIN.
This was honestly one of the best musical adaptations I have ever seen. The took inspiration from the source material without copying it directly but still keep in some iconic moments and subtle references that you wouldn’t necessarily notice unless you’ve watched the movie obsessively over the last 30 years (like myself!)
Gabriel Vick did a phenomenal job as Daniel Hillard/Euphegenia Doubtfire without trying to impersonate Robin Williams. He had some big shoes to fill and boy did he fill them! When they say this is a comedy musical, they’re not joking! It was irreverently funny and it seemed effortless, not just shoehorning in jokes for the sake of it.
The sets, the costumes, the quick changes, the dance numbers, the entire cast were just out of this world. We spoke to one ensemble member after the show (Tom Scanlon) and he said he had a whopping 10 quick changes through the course of the show!
I could not speak higher of this musical, and if you know me and my love for Mrs Doubtfire then you’ll understand how much that means.
Do not sleep on this musical, get in there, you will leave tickled pink and fully satisfied.

I can't wait to see this musical @ the Hippodrome theatre in Baltimore. I just bought presale tickets. Watching this performance got me so excited. I love Mrs. Doubtfire with Robin Williams and have the movie @ home. This musical is a wonderful tribute to Robin Williams.
I'm going to see it at Shea's theater in Buffalo NY (that's where they are starting the tour). I'm so excited as well!! Hope you enjoy
I wasn't sure if I was going to like the song with how it started, but it surprise me. Wonderful performances from all! It's amazing how accurate the make up is.

Having been an extra in a local musical, I have earned a lot of respect for quick transitions.
I was there on the night of comic relief at the performance was pre recorded … the bit at the end where mrs doubtfire comes down the stage was live!
@@JackHillidgethanks for clarifying! I work in theatre and there’s no way you can quick change someone that fast. This quick change would need at least 20 seconds to pull off and this was about 7. I figured it was either pre shot OR they subbed him out for someone else in the chair.
Saw this on Broadway and I was so pleasantly surprised by how much I really enjoyed this. It was proper LOL funny
They will make anything into a musical and I’m not mad about it.

I have not seen my daughter who is now almost six for the last three years. My ex was the one cheating while we where married & still got everything in the divorce. And now these stupid family courts are fine with me not even being able to video chat with my kid for years. I can't believe father's are treated like this in 2024 USA. Also sad that so many innocent kids go through this. Last time i was on a video chat with my daughter she told me that i was her cousin. Guess the courts are fine with kids being lied to and kept away from their father's........... I'll never understand how any of this is ok.
I just purchased tickets here in Rhode Island. I am sooooo ecstatic and excited, I can not wait to see it. I’m doing my single solo date I attempt to do once a month and I think this will be the perfect event.

It’s a great show! Unfortunately because of Covid it didn’t do well on Broadway, but it’s a great show. Good music and hella funny!
It opened recently in London, and is going down an absolute storm, already extended until next summer!

the thought of a Mrs. Doubtfire musical alone is hilarious…fantastic. Robin will be proud!
I would have loved it more. But I struggled with some of the lyrics because the audience were too busy woohooing all the way. through it.

This looks so good. I loved the movie, I really wanna see the stage show. And also the guy playing Mrs Doubtfire does look like Robin Williams' Mrs Doubtfire, which is surprising as the Broadway one doesn't, the Broadway's one's face is skinnier and not like this one

It looks like they changed one of the names (for the influences) for the UK. I'm watching, and one of the names is Angie Merkle. In the US, that particular reference is Janet Reno. I doubt many people outside the US would know who Reno is (honestly, a lot of people INSIDE the US probably don't know who she is).
