This multi-segment documentary digs into the script, the production, and the final cut of the film. It includes quite a few revealing tidbits and interviews that don’t reek of the usual EPK trash. Williams and company are gracious, honest, and engaging, making it a breeze to sit back and enjoy everything they have to say. - Zábava
Rest In Peace Robin Williams, the world will not be the same with out you
Like Robin Williams voice and my favorite Guy Robin Williams Very very funny Man👱
Hope Elizabeth 😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔
I managed to keep it together until I read your comment. 💧💧💧
Talented beautiful man gone to soon, hope he is resting peacefully
He’s just a comedian
A well deserved Academy Award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling in 1994.
Robin should have been nominated for best actor (actress?)
Yes, amazing!
To this day it's the best I've seen
No........ for me he deserved Academy Award for Best Actor
No other actor’s death hit me so hard. It was like losing a family member. RIP Robin Williams❤️
@@rsmith8434 damn auto correct!
Same, still grieve
Yeah. I cried for like a month straight. Mrs. Doubtfire has been my favorite movie since I was a kid. I've watched it at least twice a year since it came out.
Sean,what about Alan Rickman 😭😭😭
@@EvanRockwell1 I believe they should reboot Mrs Doubtfire with a female lead. In that movie the actress should take up the disguise of an old man. With good prosthetic makeup and a nice story it would be a hit. Will also be a great homage to Robin Williams. Please suggest an actress who can play that role.
The only actor who could have pulled off this role. He was just superb. Still sadly missed
Those were exactly my thoughts as I was watching. Robin Williams was PERFECT for this role.
@@milla0722 watched film many times and never gets old . Still laughs galore
Not even Jim carrey could've pulled it off, he is a good imitator but he is too dramatic to say the least.
maybe patrick swayze could done also, he was great in that movie as a drag queen
They better not remake it like they do with everything these days
"Are we close?"
"Any closer and you'd be MOM!"
celebration!!
Rest in Peace Robin - we will always love you.
I miss him so much.R.I.P. Robin will always be doubtfire to me! legend!
Adore this film. I can't imagine anyone else in the role.
JohnPaul Dixon he was made for the role. I’m glad they had no sequel. This movie is a masterpiece, no replicating it.
Maybe Brendan O'Carroll who is currently Mrs. Brown on the English comedy show Mrs.Brown's Boys. When I first saw this show I immediately thought of Mrs.Doubtfire as Robin was convincing as a woman & the characters are somewhat alike.
No one will ever compare to him. We were so lucky to grow up with him.❤
They shot a few scenes, literally, like 2 blocks away from where I was working at the time which was in North Beach, San Francisco. So I would watch them shoot some scenes while not knowing what or who I was watching. And when my friends asked who I saw I said, "Idk I just kept seeing some old lady!" Lol! I finally saw Robin out of wardrobe one day and waived to him;) The End.
What a great story. Thanks for posting.
Was it 2 blocks or not? Nothing literal about 2 blocks. It either was or wasn't.
@@thedude8009 It was actually 1 block and 2 blocks away because I watched them twice. It was nothing new really lots of filming goes on in San Francisco. They filmed a scene of The Net with Sandra Bullock in a building I was working in downtown, I was an extra in The Doors movie with Val Kilmer, and they used to shoot the TV show Nash Bridges all over South of Market so we ran in to Don Johnson and who ever else was in that show quite a bit. And there was a popular trail that lead down to a beach that was actually in the empty lot right next to Robin Williams house, super low-key.
San Francisco used to be so cool now its a shit hole. Thanks for allowing me to reminisce.🙂
did he wave back??
@@katefevre6222 I don't think he did. It's was early in the morning, he was in regular street clothes and he looked like he was either annoyed or trying to figure out if I was someone he knew😕.

Funny! 😀

Genius at doing voices obviously a gift
A gift he started to perfect as a young child. A gift he shared with the whole world and we're lucky to have had him here.
Yeah!
"Any closer, and you'd be mom."
One of my favorite lines in the film. (Spoken raspy sells it)
Mine was when he was cookn an set his boobs on 1st.... 1st day as a woman an already havn hot flashes.... Heeheehee

Matthew Lawrence was so articulate and professional at a young age.
So was Mara Wilson. She was always that adorable child of the 90s
@@juniorsir9521
*NO she was a pain in the ass*
@@juniorsir9521 I'm surprised that the three kids in the picture didn't go on to have bigger careers in film- they are articulate, clever, have a nice screen presence and could have transitioned into adult roles easily I feel.
If you want to say he’s hot, just say it. No need to talk in code
@@scottyunitedboy2925 Apparently Mara really didn't like acting much. She didn't hate it, but didn't care for it much.
Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Williams, many of my fellow flight attendant friends had him on their flights over the years. They had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. Most celebrities understandably prefer to keep a low profile because they value their rarely found privacy. But Mr. Williams evidently often times sat in the main cabin and would chat with kids and quote his movies for them. He always said “Please” and “Thank You” and at least once helped lighten the mood for everyone when a flight was delayed.
Again, I never met him but when I learned of his passing, it truly felt like I had lost a friend. I find many other people share that same sentiment.
Imagine if Robin Williams gets reincarnated as a real-life Mrs Doubtfire. That would be incredible.
Robin Williams would have been a good woman.
"Oohhh, it was a run-by fruiting."
She would be 5 years old ... would take a while
We can only pray
@@ninhil2
I will wait and forbid myself to die so i can see the lovely old woman for myself
It took almost 4 hours for them to do full hair, makeup, and costume for Mrs. Doubtfire... and now they're doing it all in about (if not less than) 15 seconds in the musical.
Completely different. Stage lighting hides a lot of imperfections. If you can't see it from 10 feet it doesn't exist.
When we lost Robin, we truly lost a unique part of this universe. I still can’t believe he is gone sometimes.
me neither.and bowie,too! r.i.p. to them both!
@@aporue5893 definitely Bowie… I am kind of obsessed with him. I adore him. Another huge loss was Alan Rickman. I am a huge fan of his. When they died two days apart, I thought the universe was playing some horrible joke.
@@Stardust_7273 yeah exactly! And we lost Olivia Newton-John and more legends. I couldn't believe it 😭😭
Beyond glad the sequel was never made, this is a Classic film and could never be repeated. RIP Robin, you are a true star.
God l miss him!😭 he was so talented and amazing
Thank you for making my childhood amazing genie, mrs doubtfire, Alan Parrish, Jack, batty....
RIP Robin you’ll be in our hearts always. The world could sure use your humor right now, thank you for everything. Miss you forever!
5:17 Funny seeing Robin do the voice without the wig and the mask.
He did do it once in the movie when he was on the phone

Tootsie and Mrs Doubtfire. My favourite movies.
Sonny Skye OMG WE ARE IN THE SAME PAGE !!!😍❤️ I absolutely love Tootsie so much,do you like movies that has like this type of men to woman type ? I love them so much haha hope for a new one in this 20’s
I don't know that Robin ever really grasped how much the world loves him. I say loves bc we still love him and miss him dearly. I find it difficult to watch his movies and not cry at the end. He is free now and we will never forget the brightness and joy he brought to all of us.
Nowadays they would cgi the hell of it.
dont give hollywood any ideas
Yeah, so sad and true that the magic of makeup and prosthetics in film is dwindling due to heavy use of CGI - like in Beauty & the Beast. They did no makeup on him, and the beast looked very computer animated
It would never be as realistic as this
@@lola.cruz916 Yeah, because it would be so practical to create Beast with prosthetics.
Knight Of ANGUISH and it would be alot pisher
Such talent. The world has been a darker place without him.
But his life wasn't happy as we thought !
Really? Hasn’t changed though lol.
@@SuperDannyBoy95 changed or not at least he had put an end for his problems
Rawad Rabbat That may be so but let’s not act like we all sat around and praised him every day of our lives and just went mysteriously. People like to act like they were the biggest fans of whatever right when they’re gone and say some ridiculous shit like this comment.
@@SuperDannyBoy95 why are u so pissed off anyway , have you had half of his wealth or something? Or he related to you ? I just sympathised with his sad end 🤔
One of my top favorite films! I can’t believe it was filmed literally 3 months before I was born in ‘93!
Oh my... makes me emotional. One of the great actors ever... was also a wonderful human being. So talented and special - RIP Robin
I don't think ANYONE will be able to play an old woman like that, and make it so believable like Robin did. You would swear that was a real old woman. Robin was such a genius. He left us way to soon. He brought so much joy to millions, and millions of people. We love you Mr. Williams. We all miss you.

Such a great talent, so hysterical and such a great loss! I remembered where I was when he died, I think I cried for a couple of weeks. Sure do miss him!!
Rest easy Robin,so many times I fainted laughing at your roles
He was such a treasure to the world! There are other brilliant & talent comedians and actors out there, but Robin was and will forever be on his own level of brilliance.

Yes, i can sense a sadness in him.🤔🙁
I cant.
Holy crap, Ve Neill did Mrs. Doubtfire? No wonder she's a judge on Face-Off!

I describe this movie as Robin Williams's funniest but also his craziest ever one. But it's a terrible shame that he took his own life, as he'll be seriously missed by his family and fans.

Amazing video :)
I confess. I first clicked on this because I thought the video’s thumbnail had two Ms. Doubtfires in it :p
I can’t not get emotional every time I watch his roles or behind the scenes or just Robin! I felt like he was at every family gathering that how much he meant to everyone
I watched "Robins Wish" lastnight and cried, laughed, then missed him and felt completely blessed to have lived in the same lifetime as him, his journey helps me with mine.💝
Awesome video! I genuinely wish it were longer! I’d love to see every nuance of Robin’s transformation. I didn’t expect to see this today. Absolutely fascinating and so much FUN!!! My mom, God rest her soul, loved Robin, his movies - especially Mrs. Doubtfire, and we both thought he was so wonderful. Thank you for sharing this video.
I miss him so much, everytime I watch TV and see his movies am still watching it from the start to end. And even I've watched his movies so many times, especially the Mrs. Doubtfire movie.😥 RIP Robin Williams.

R.I.P Robin Williams
RIP Robin Williams😖..... I really enjoyed his more serious roles he played. 💖 What a talented man. Depression is rough people.
He was diagnosed with dementia when he took his life.
I’m still heartbroken today about his death. So unfortunate. I miss him so much. He was one of the best entertainers I know.
Ve Neill actually paid tribute in a way to Robin by mentioning her work on Mrs Doubtfire in the reality competition show Face Off, when they were filming in San Francisco, a guy came up to her and asked if Robin Williams was there that day, and she said, “well gee, I dunno” and what that guy didn’t know was that Robin was standing right next to Ve in the Mrs Doubtfire makeup. She said it was one of the best moments in her career, because she had successfully transformed a man into a woman, which really is saying something when that man was Robin Williams.
I really love that show sm. Ve also did a good job with Beetlejuice and Tim Burton movies.
It’s hard to achieve charm, this movie has it in spades.
The only celebrity whose ever died and I felt like I'd lost a family member. Seems ridiculous but I felt a closeness to his characters, and he himself was such a good person with philanthropy for homeless and the like. Maybe because he reminds me of my uncle.. I don't know.
He was the father figure I needed, I empathize with you.

I loved how as a kid I believed he could put on and take off 3+ hours of makeup in an instant like a pullover mask. :D Amazing job to Ve Neill and the makeup team. Seeing Robin in interviews and behind the scenes is bittersweet. What an absolute treasure he was.
I really miss Robin Williams. His death was very tragic. An amazing comedian and amazing human being ...you are greatly missed Robin!! 💗
I really hope these special effect make-up artists get serious praise for all the time, effort and patience to put all these prosthetics on all these great actors. Eddie Murphy's make-up artists in Coming to America and the Nutty Professor movies too. I'm sure there's way more, but these two especially.
Thanks for uploading this!
