- Has anybody been talking about this 1 major problem with the New Losi SBR 2.0? I mean come on, it's probably one of the main reasons why people buy these 'Scale' Rigs!

1/6th scale, not 1/5th. Fix the wrap with a heat gun.
Double check all the chassis screws, my Lasernut had 2 rounded off and the rest were loose! Quality control is awful!
Standard horizon QC... The lights are super bright on this thing, we absolutely love it😍 getting it out for a run tomorrow😎

that sucks, almost as bad as getting an ESC, install it and in two runs smokie appears!!!!! I feel you
Lmao I just spend 250 on a mamba x system and cooked the esc first run. When we checked the data log it somehow had 25 volts go through it and I use 3s batteries lmao somehow put 6s volts through it.
That's so crazy! I own a UDR but I've been thinking about upgrading once they're back in stock. I don't mind paying the price- but geeze. I'd at least expect all those tiny things to be taken care of!
My only problem with this truck is the battery compartment. You'd have to drive on asphalt not to have to struggle to get the battery door open since dirt gets all up in it. It's a struggle every time. This trumps all other issues, from the stickers on the body, to the roll cage in the back being weak, to whatever else. That's it.
Who designed this battery compartment system? Why.
At nearly $1000 USD, that is SHOCKING! 😲😠 IF I could even get one, I wouldn't.

They don't give a shit, HH in my personal experience has some horrendous customer service and are rude af.

@@jjtsht just from my experience traxxas has good customer service. I had a esc problem with my rustler 4x4 and they told me to send it in and they would fix it or send me a whole new one but I ended up fixing it over the phone with the guy. Horizon hobby I had a losi tenacity and snapped the chassis in half first drive not even bashing and all I got from them was a "tuff luck buy a new chassis " lol.

Great vid' ... Check the body for flex. I think you will find that the rear wheels rub on the body and the "spare tyres" will drag on the ground under hard acceleration. There is a fix where you add a square brace to the internal-to-the-body frame so that it is stiffer and doesn't bottom out. Good luck :)

Thats why I hot the King Shocks one. Way less wrap to get wrong. The little bit that's there also seems better applied

They should have come with a fully painted body instead and leave the stickers to the customers to touch up. A disappoint from Horizon a well known brand. My heart is with you Tom.
I just pray that Arrma releases a larger mojave. I do think the current mojave is amazing and i LOVE mine but I want a bigger version. =D
thanks for this video... Im glad I passed on this more and more as I see it... I just got the super rock rey on today its in my channel... I had pre ordered the same color super baja rey 2.0 and it came in 3 weeks ago at my local HobbyTown store...i passed on it rear flex and all not worth the price!!!
I have a running video coming soon. The rear flex is relatively easy fix, but it should never have left the factory like it! The Rock Rey is a nice truck!

On the subject of tiny R/C would you do a quick run through video of the micro/mini cars you have and brief thoughts on each? Would be a good one with the poor weather setting in.

haha 3yrs... it's crazy isn't it how long stuff takes! The UK got the Mojave before the US! Not really looked at the SBR waiting times though
@@TomleyRC ETA in Australia is March, but given how things are going lately, I'd be surprised if there's enough stock to go around and it'll probably be another 2-3 months before we get more. Honestly, at this stage I don't think it's even worth my time. I mean, the DBXL-E 2.0 hasn't been released here yet and it's been almost a year since it released in the US. Horizon have basically just cut Australia from their business model.
Wow that's crazy! As much as I like some of the HH products.... they seem to be forgetting about the rest of the world! Could end up coming back to bite them!

This was $200 off during the father's day sale. I was about to grab one when i saw a extremely near new one on Ebay and scored it for $510 with free shipping. Even had the carbon fiber chassis stiffening in the rear already. I prefer it to the UDR but I'm a traxxas hater..

Definitely, a UDR killer - needs a paint job though... Too many reports about it spitting gear teeth all over the place. I'd buy one of the EXB's instead: It's not like this is some sort of a large supercheap RC...
Yeah, heard the UDR can be a bit of a Lemon. I'll give this thing a blast and see how it holds up!
Well I have to admit that "disappointment" must be the company slogan at Losi. They have great ideas with their car, there is some very good and advanced engineering behind usually... but it looks like they release cars while still in the middle of the planning phases where all the details are still be set and polished. Then they might simply pull the car out of the market or release a complete new version with not a lot in common with the previous one (the LST, LST2, LST3-XL anybody?). At least they still sell the SBR, but jeez that stickers job... No thanks, I'd rather get a Mojave (and in fact I just got one! 😁)
Thank you Losi for making china sell more cars, keep going like that and Wltoy will make a copy of this car in 6 months and it will be better than the original, like they did with the mini8 !

I’ve seen a Tamiya ready to run car and the wheel arches where really cut out bad, This is Japan 🇯🇵 Quality going down 👍🏻
That would annoy me enough to rip off the decals and do a custom paint job on it. Still though the decals don't make a decent vehicle and this looks epic.

I’ve learned a long time ago to go through every losi car and make sure everything is tight and I mean everything because on every new car they put out something is loose and it will show it’s ugly face on the first run.

$1k for subpar qc, not cool at all. I'd like the RC all in all, but would have to have a blank body, do custom paint job. But when it came to opening my wallet, bought Losi DB Pro, arrives TODAY with extra parts, and BETTER 42kg Servo...never had any luck with rtr servos.

The decals are pitiful and embarrassing, but in the grand scheme of things the truck is meant to be bashed and not meant to be a shelf queen . So looking and the bright side you don’t have to worry about fu_king it up because they already did it for you . Can’t wait to see this one run .

Horizon aren't really that bothered from what I hear. I got a really good deal on this from my supplier, so happy to take a small hit on the decals
The biggest issue for me the the cheap ass cage they put. It just bouncies around all cheap like n ruins scale of the suspension

So you pay £820 for an rc car, sure the money goes into the size, earls having issues with the body flexing and the decals are shite, how can whoever at horizon sleep at night it’s like 2 fingers at the buyers. Your right on your decal and new car comments.
Are there any alternatives to this or to the UDR which is budget friendly? Will you review them in future? These big scale TT are amazing and I hope there is or will be some of good quality and cheaper Chinese manufacturer which will make their version of a real big scale TT (w/rear solid axle)
It shouldn’t even have decals.. it should all be printed on(or how ever they do it lol)
Should be fun for sure, but the decals are just BAD. I hope they see this and feel the shame!
I would complain about the decals don't they have qc and if they do are they blind or don't care doesn't bode well for the rest of their stuff I would demand a new body for a replacement
Why people make such a big deal for the stickers? The body will get wrecked anyway. The heck with the stickers, take them off and it's still a good truck
It's a big deal because when you pay for a product, you don't expect it to have obvious flaws. I'm getting a new car in March....if I go to collect it and the paint work is scratched or the badges are on wonky... I'm not going to tell them it's fine :)

the stickers on mine is not that bad, but i don't really care about that, we go trash that body anyways, mine is cracked on the front already, tape, glue, and good to go ;)
no quality controll at Losi I guess... for 800 bugs u shoulg get proper decals... I would love to see a built ure owen version.. not that rtr stuff, shure i get it, that many people just wanne unwrap it and go... but I love to built it by my self.
Surely this is a pre production vehicle so I would be surprised if the ones that the public will buy won't be a printed body.

I used to like losi like 10 years ago then HH bought them and I freaking hate losi now. I've had some serious piece of crap losi the past couple years and I will never buy one again.
