Hard to pick between the udr or the sbr 2.0 so I bought both. The udr is amazing in it's smoothness where as the sbr is equally amazing in it's rawness. We are living in some pretty good r/c times. 30 years ago I never would have imagined scale products like these.

@@shaunescarlett.1 Neither!!! Try the King Motors Challenger... same as sbr but faster gearing and 6s... add a second shock piston without spring in the rear and solves all the rear handling issues...

Wow! I could watch this run all day! It seems really well balanced and love the power with bigger battery. Wish I had caught this video a few years ago. I would have definitely requested more slo-mos!

I think how you know you’ve got a great RC for yourself is if the batteries dead you’ve got a big smile on your face , you’ve been playing for what feels like 10 minutes at most and really it’s been over an hour and just wish you had more power packs ready to go.

The 1.0 SBR is also an amazing truck so I am sure this is even better. I can't imagine bit on 8s, the 1.0 on 6s flys at over 50mph and it's a big truck! Love the new tires, I hope they can fit on the 1.0 without too much modification to the body. That's a bummer you can't take the cage off in 1 piece anymore. The 1.0 comes off by removing about 8 screws and the one that you showed blocked by the cage is accessible on the 1.0

Not that many rc trucks that give you that excitement. Thing is awesome. Needs a couple mods like the rear brace. The front mud guards are nice to keep the dirt out.

Be nice if Horizon gets smart and puts drag brake on the "smart" esc's. These trucks its a must.
I always liked the look and was hoping for the 2.0 they would have figured a way to make a quick release or at least hinged the body to make it easier to work on. I hated taking the baja rey apart. Personally it's a pass until they have an easier way to remove that cage to work on/clean. Great overview and nice vid as usual!
There could be a work around if you drill two holes in the back of the body to access the screws that mount the cage to the tower. If you did that, then it’s just 10 screws to remove the cage and body as one unit.

I have the first generation and it is built like a TANK !!! I've had it for a yr. beat the hell out of it and I've spent 8.99 replacing shock front shock mounts and that was because of a head on collision with a wall at 45 mph !!!!! Super reliable!!!

Question for you: I know they are very different, but what do you think is more fun, this or an 8S X-Maxx? They are pretty much the same price and both seem like a ton of fun. I currently have a Traxxas UDR and E-Revo 2.0, possibly looking to sell both of those for something larger like this or the 8S X-Maxx. I wish you had an X-Maxx video! Haha

Now I'm waiting for a SRR 2.0. Not that there was anything really wrong with the SRR chassis. But I would really appreciate it if Losi were to relocate the steering servo so us power fiends can swap out the stock motor with a Castle 2020 800kv. And also add the wheel base extension to the SRR as well. It would most certainly benefit from such at high speed.

Let's see how it performs on concrete and blacktop also the shocks seems like they can use some heavier shock oil to prevent chassis slamming.

Super Baja rey has always been better than the super rock rey . I'm glad to see there's more tire options in the body's pretty sweet . I'm glad they upgraded ,but I think they went the wrong way with Battery box . And the original super Baja Rey has steel axles up front. Always Great video .I like the way you show the vehicle from taking it apart to putting it back together and running it.
Rock rey is for people who enjoy torture lmao working on a rig like that is a nightmare.
