This massive 1/6 RC Car drives so nicely! It may have a few flaws in the cosmetics and some other bits, but it's an awesome bit of kit!

Always put fibreglass thread tape in the inside of the wheel arches from new :)

"Dont take these around children and pets" I use my ecx torment 1/10 2wd truck to play with our ponies and horses. I wedge a carrot on the front and drive it away from them as they chase it. It's really good entertainment 😂

That rig is a beast! I have seen people brace the rear of the cage to stop the flex. Saves the body from cracking at the rear of the cab and those fender marks. That's poor quality control on the stickers. For the price you pay not so good. It's a total Beast when you run it! I don't think it will hold up to bashing like a Mojavi! Love your vids keep it up! Stay safe and bash on from Colorado!
I'm picking up a second-hand one in a few weeks time. Can't wait! Still think my Mojave (heavily upgraded) will be my favourite... we shall see. Great video Phil, respect 👏🏼

It’s an incredible truck, but is massively let down by the body which is a shame given how good it looks...
Having said that, it does handle some serious bashing and from what we’ve seen, even better than some legitimate ‘bashers’, swings and roundabouts I guess it definitely has its place! Nice vid✌🏼
Yeah agree... a few disappointing bits out the box. But stick some batteries in, switch it on and none of that matters anymore! Beast!

Great video and nice bash spot !! Watching yours is exactly how mine acts to . I'm at a crossroads for mine , love it / but aggravated how it rolls so easy , finding myself slowing way down to make turns . My body already cracking on sides . Fast / powerful low end torque / def durable . Jumping is a hit or miss , sometimes good , other times bounces up out of control . I have a Mojave , next is a UDR , then will have all 3 to compare .
Yes, it's a little un predictable at times! The Mojave is a little better, but still rolls if you are not careful :)
The UDR rolls just as easy as this. Its just how the suspension and solid rear axle digs while turning. You can't drive it like a basher.
Like a rc street car, there's a specific terrain that these trucks shine on. Grippy uneven grass isn't the best.
You can't fault the truck. It only responds to driver input. Watching videos of people using erratic throttle input drives me nuts and practically everyone on you tube does this. It's not the trucks fault.

Seems to be like a bigger more powerful UDR. Those roll-overs get so annoying, it helped me to chill on the brake when turning sharply. Nice big bash about, seemed really fun..great vid..bet you already need a new body..lol

Love the way you test stuff "as it comes" because then it shows them all equally.
So new body on the way ?? Gorrilla taped or even pieces of plasti card glued into the rear wheel arches ?? Bump stops ?? (Might help with the rolling ??)

Top to bottom, this was clearly designed as a UDR killer. It's probably fit for that task - and more, but the quality just isn't up to expensive RC standards. Too many reports on gears falling apart, amongst other things! If the Arrma EXBs weren't available, this would make a good buy overall... Now? EXBs all the way. ZD Racing makes big cheap and cheerful rollers - if you don't mind frequent maintenance.
You talk about quality not being there and then recommend a zd racing? 😂😂 And I'm not saying zd racing is junk but it's not on the quality of a losi or other bigger brands. I haven't heard of any gears falling apart.. Are you talking about the original sbr that had that problem like a year ago??? Or this 2.0?
@@cwatson42785 All I am saying is that if I am going to buy a mediocre vehicle (quality-wise), I am going to buy from a cheap manufacturer that specialises in that field. Like ZD. I am talking about both generations... The reliability statistics on these cars seem to fluctuate a lot.

How do you mount your cam inside the cab and eliminate much of the vibration? Currently researching the best method of fpv for my sbr and am concerned about cam vibrations.

Needs limiters on the suspension so the tires don't rub the body That may help it from not rolling over so easy also 🤔
What GPS and app are you using on your SBR2? I just got mine last week!
I found turning the steering rate down a little prevents a lot of the roll overs
What else have you done to prevent rolling on grass?
What power setting did you have it on, don't know if the version for the UK and USA are different but mine does 59-60mph
The truck looks nice I guess you can peal the stickers, but is so big and fast that require a big space like and RC plate

Have you tried the Losi 1/5 DBXL-E 2.0 4WD Desert Buggy Brushless ? Not as fast, but fast for its weight and handles much better. Down side, it’s fricken heavy. I roll mine by the bumper

Yeah a little, but any softer and it drags it's Ar5e even more!

Depends on your budget. Team Associated MT10 is awesome, Arrma Granite or Big Rock also.

Losi Baja Rey 1/10 3S .. it's been just awesome, very realistic scale too just like the SBR and it has a radio that you can set as low as 50% or run it on 2S✔️
I always put gorilla tape inside so that tire rub won't wear paint off...
And these bodies are painted now not stickerd up right?
They have some aluminum braces for the back of that losi to keep the back strong

After seeing your newest video about the bandit I can understand not liking traxxas. Especially you personally 😂 but I do think you’d genuinely enjoy a udr. Loads of people that hate traxxas even agree the udr is just something else. Could be worth a shot

It's certainly a very nice looking truck Phil,but I wouldn't thank you for one,it's not my cup of tea.
It always bothers me that the first impression you get from something, is how it looks, and the state of the stickers, as you said, for a £800ish car with stickers my 8 year old could have done better with, would put me right off!!
That, and the apparent lack of attention to detail with the wheels rubbing, again, would put me off!!
But watching that thing fly about....!!!

I have the king livery. I want the breanthal body but 170$ with awful decals. King doesn’t really have that problem. Most of it is printed

I like Losi RC cars but they’re expensive & not many stock parts for them and in uk what you can get are expensive , I end up ordering from the US but then get hit by import duty tax etc . 😢

I get 40 minute run times on two 4s 8000mah lipos, also have the Bluetooth module and spektrum app, comes in handy when you want to know how much battery you got left

I want one so bad. I also have an EXB Mojave running a Castle 17 series 1650kv with a 24t pinion.
I know it's not a direct comparison, but there is NO WAY this thing is better than the Mojave, in any aspect.

I have both and its better than Mojave, feels way more beastly and handles like a true Baja Rej....though the Mojave is a bit more stable less rollovers, the SBR 2.0 is just a way different experience, it's simply awesome, would highly recommend it.

I have this neighborhood kid, i dont really know him, but everytime im downstairs with and rc, he'll come up to me and brag about all the amazing rcs he has, i know he doesn't actually but its kinda stupid. And just the other day i was in the gym and low and behold, the rc he was bragging to his friends about, a 10dollar convenience store toy grade rock crawler. The kind with the axle mounted motor and steering servo that goes about 8 or 9 miles an hour 😂😂. Like i dont mean to be mean, but he brags like hell and would make the rc hobby look bad. Im sure if he really did have good rc cars, he firstly would stay away from those toy grades, not been so impressed by his toy grade and would have probably gotten a trx4, axial, redcat, or something hobby grade. Anyways that just my rant about him. He also tried to tail gate into my block, like wts.

OUTSIDE: The bad made decor... 1000(USD? €?) or more? For what🤔??? For this price??? 🤔 NO WAY!!! The other Experts says :" May be, you need Vitavon all around, may be better shocks, Diffs and so on..."... OOOUUUUHHH... Holy Cow!!! "A weapon" You say... Without ab Barrel or ammonition? Ist is only a expensive Stick... Not a swort... What do you think???
