- well I finally got 4 people racing together on the track ...all beginners ,some with a few hours racing and some with Zero . we had an amazing time with the policar and Carrera cars .....Harry

@slotcardude68 Yes, it changes the drivers perspective of the circuit so it can really affect the racing and keep everything interesting. Plus, it's handy for marshalling if only four racers 🙂thanks again Nico 👍

@@slotr they were totally awesome, Dave, and I'd love the other brands to explain why they can't match this quality for the price ...have we been getting shafted .🤔 everyone loved them and for total raw beginners ,those policar models did an excellent job of introducing the folk to slot car racing 💪
@@Scale_Slotcars_Latvia I think with Carrera is price point, the Go cars are about the same price as these, with Policar they've only got the one scale to work with. Scalextric however, poorer quality, higher price and no real excuse

This is a very fun video to watch! I like the idea (for beginners) of leaving the crashed cars on the track that create an obstacle course for the others and also the short 1,2 or 3 races for them. You handled this real well and made it fun for them and for us. It reminds me of the days we were new and just had fun instead of all the specs etc of trying to be so called "pro" racers. Congrats on everyone having fun🏁🏁
@OKSlotCarTesting thanks mate and you understand exactly my thinking. 🤗let folk have fun and not stop the racing every time a car crashes . And slowly building up the amount of laps as they improved their skills 🤗 I've never had four racing on any of my home tracks so this was a test for me also ,and I loved it 😁Appreciate you watching and commenting 👍

And Thank you about the track mate 🤗 if the space was wider I would have done a crossover track to keep the lanes closer 🙂but this works very well because the inside lane might be shorter but ya gotta slow down more for them .but I also do the driver position change option so everyone gets a chance on each lane 🤗 I was thrilled how my first 4 person race night went and we had another one two days later 😁Appreciate you watching and commenting mate 👍
I love what you have done with the layout Harry. But I know I am going to get blasted for this comment. Do you enjoy having to put the cars back on the track almost every lap? I run magnets and the racing is so much more fun. We can have 25 to 50 lap races and the cars stay on the track the whole race. Take out the magnets for the pros and leave the magnets in for the family racing. It’s just my opinion. Let the replies start coming in. Lol
@@davegedeon3767 well Dave sorry to disappoint you but every car you seen on track had all factory magnets fitted so that blasts your theory out of the water 🤣🤣

@@davegedeon3767 cheers Dave ..3 of them had never touched a slotcar before I filmed so imagine no idea about throttle control. Long downhill straight into a sharp turn . S bend following by a sharp turn ...main thing was we all had a blast and two days later we raced again 🤗
nice!! Have a ? on your policars.. I got 3 my sister bought one they supposed to have like a 1300rpm motor and her car is so fast it's crazy i measured her wheel rpm it blows the other 3 cars out of the water I can't even race it! are yours like the same speed almost because my 3 are. also I know your on 14.8V so those policars are moving a lot faster than on my track at 12V so I have a idea for you with them so the newbies don't deslot as much. The policars have a adjustable magnet that you can make lower to the track and that will make them stay on much better BUT the problem is how can you get them the same? You can put a small washer under each screw under the magnet holder so the magnets will hang down the same on all cars... Just a though it may help with the extra speed and less deslotting.
@@BSslotcars hi Steve .All mine ran the same ,I purposely left them in out of box setup to give everyone a equal chance. With the extra volts they really moved fast but everyone learned to be more careful 🤗I will be buying two adjustable power supplies soon because, some of my cars prefare the slightly lower voltage 🤗 Thanks for the advice Steve 🤗
@@Scale_Slotcars_Latvia Yeah the adjustable supplies are the way to go so you can fine tune voltage for each brand of cars. Just my luck my sister buys a policar and I swear it has a normal 18K motor in it!
