"My beloved Mystra" ooooof that's gotta hurt. This is Solas all over again for the Galemancers
Well Wyll is probably worse.
explain reference
@@Toto-95 Dragon Age. One of the major character in DA: Inquisition is an elven mage named Solas. He's⊠significant even for a party member.
I tried this game to escape the Solavellan hell and now I ended up with this...strangely familiar scenario
Yeah I'm out of this boat - it's like they say in the DA fandom "never trust a mage". Team Astarion it is then
Shadowheart lookin like a whole Scooby snacc in that outfit
For me, I find the player character sexy, especially the tail.
@@foofoo3344 Just cant help trying to be more degenerate than everyone else cant you.
@@sarantsogtmunkhbaatar6974 It's just one my personal opinion. I really do like the body of the female tiefling of this game. The contours (the demonic ridges) of the naked back all to the shapely butt with the really sexy tail - I just find myself liking it.
But hey, my fetish is rather tame compared to people who like eating/drinking shit/piss, getting cucked (get NTR'ed) or genital mutilation. NOW, THOSE are the real degenerates.
@@foofoo3344 all we are degenerates

Jesus. _Shadowheart._
Yeah for anybody familiar with the Forgotten Realms, that's rather on the nose for a worshiper of Shar.
Ideal name, really.
@@markmurex6559
Like Ferrus Manus of the Iron Hands.
@@afqwa423 or like Ang(e)ron and Kharn.
Considering we already know Shar took a lot of memories from her, taking her actual name and replacing it with something that's more a religious title than a name seems only fitting.
@@mrmcawesome9746
Priests of Shar are supposed to be secretive though. Like, that's the thing they're supposed to do. So she could've lied and told me her name is Suzy.
Really? She's literally wearing half of the Shar temple's accessories on her with Shar symbols pictured in every piece...
Itâs a mod
Gale sure seemed rather chill, considering Mystra and Shar are mortal enemies and in turn their followers... *face palms*
eh mortal enemy is a bit to harsh, they don't like attack each other on site it's just like a "oh ok I don't agree with your choices but ok." kind of deal. To be perfectly honest both of these gods are not banned or anything.
@@dannykimes2323 Mortal enemies is not an understatement. In the lore, its very plain that Shar wants control over the Weave, which is in Mystra's dominion. Shar created the Shadow Weave because, thus far, she's been unable to gain control over the Weave. Shar was instrumental in helping murder the previous incarnation of Mystra (not sure why Shar didn't gain control over the Weave then).
Them attacking on sight, was not my point. Gale acted as if its no big deal, when in reality, it is. He should have been at least extremely suspicious and henceforth, more or less, uncooperative in regards to doing things with or for Shadowheart. Realistically, even hostile. Giving the main character a chance to confront Gale or Shadowheart. Instead nothing happens. A very hostile relationship between their two deities, means nothing to either character. That is poor writing.
Considering Shar participated on the assassination of Mystra... That's not an understatement. But hey, there are more concerning matters, like the tadpoles, so I understand why Gale let it go for that moment.
@@DarkAshenfall There is also a vampire spawn in the party. If circumstances were different the rest of them would kill him immediately. It's pretty much a given that they are all allies of necessity at the beginning. Not bad writing imo.
As a good character, united to oddballs by a basic survival principle in this case, I would certainly not insult or hurt a random cleric of Shar, especially one that admits it (! :P). I would be puzzled, worried, and wonder what the hell dark plot she is into, if any. Shar worshippers tend to be insane, brainwashed, victims of sorts, so some good characters might try to heal their minds if possible. In the case of Shadowheart, as many noted, there are subtle signs she was once a kind or wise person who had a steep falling.
She's not very good at this. She could have told him Mystra will never love him again, and Shar will always be there for those coping with loss...
I got this scene when she reads school journal in the house where the ogres are
Yeah, that happened to me once too, it's interesting because I'm not sure what the journal has to do with it... Unless Shar was behind the disease spreading in the village/disappearing children? (Just woke up and don't remember it properly)
@@03irisiris10 I got an event where i walked over the jumping game in the village written over the floor where shadowheart says something like "I think i've played this before" also you can loot a helmet from a skeleton to get the same reaction as when you go near the statue.
@@MinatureMinotaur3223 all the companions and yourself react to the hopscotch game as of patch 4 :)
Which skeleton do you have to loot to get the reaction?
@@03irisiris10 if you convince her to talk, she mentions it looks like the work of Shar. Maybe stealing kids is apart of their work? Lol
@@03irisiris10 The skeloton that is near the walls of the villages between the sleeping bugbear and the entrance to the smith forge.
Me not knowing anything about the lore like, ok? So you are a spy/murder nun?
Shar's followers often do that, yes. But they do so with the intentions of bringing down systems and ideals, be it good or bad. Problem is, Shar fucks with her followers minds and basically likes to gaslight them into believing that 'This is the only way'. She plays with people like they are her puppets, and for her followers.... they basically are. No one except a select few actually -know- this within Shar's followers, and those few are basically sociopaths that desire power.
It is one of the many reasons why Selune and her duke it out. Selune is often someone who tries to guide and never lie, trying her best to teach and never deceive. Shar? Completely opposite.
â@@13loodCrow Writers have made Shar rather evil indeed. Selune/Shar were once one entity and the splitting in two makes Shar a bit loony if I may say so (pun sort of intended: loony comes from lunatic which comes from lune/moon). I personally prefer entities to have some sensical purpose or values, but Selune and Shar are more like primordial ancient gods representing light or darkness rather than a more constructive goal or values. It is hard to understand why anyone would want to worship Shar, so your description of her methods makes sense.
Basically
Me every time she gets a kill: Not bad for a priest!
@@Baraz_Red Selune has a lot of incarnations that are a good deal more comprehensible/knowable, and she is a lot less powerful than Shar at this point because she constantly gives of herself to protect creation, Shar is perpetually angry and wants to eliminate all of existence and then kill herself
I love how the tiefling looks
I'm still annoyed how we don't get a "Oh, you worship Shar? That's cool" option
Why would you be cool with her worshipping an evil god?
@@martthesling I might be playing someone that does that also, i might want to play as an atheist that doesn't care for gods, i might want to play a pantheistic role that accepts all gods. Pick yours
@@rafaelcastor2089 Oh, you're one of those guys. An atheist in real life where you roleplay an an atheist in a fantasy game where Gods actually exist...
@@martthesling Out of the 3 possibilities you picked the one that was the most wrong. I'm a pantheist, my guy.
Besides, atheism means a very different thing in the context of the Forgotten Realms and fantasy in general. To be atheist usually means your character either doesn't see the Gods as being worthy of worship (and we all know they are all a bunch of pieces of shit every now and again) or someone that defiently goes against them.
@@rafaelcastor2089 Atheism is a person that doesn't believe a divine being exists. Gods exist in Forgotten Realms. You may not like them but they exist...
That tiefling though....
I didnt get this cut scene I only got the schoolbook one.
You know your game is going to be a classic when there are a ton of Mods out, and your game is still in early access.
okay i never seen the bit or that armour O.o wow
Tiefling looking like a desire demon from dragon age
It is getting harder and harder to resist not waiting till full release. I want my pre release damn it!
Your wish has been granted.
I passed by that sttatue on 3 playthroughs and never got this cutscene
Nice set she got there, Where do you get that dress?
Where did you get het dresses from?
Dude where you found this outfit for Shadowheart and your character?
What robe is the tiefling wearing there? that looks nice.
I have a decent PC and tried running this at lowest settings.
PC nearly committed seppuku.
If it's lagging a lot for you it's actually not a graphical problem (the graphics requirement is actually pretty low) it's probably because you have less than 16GB of RAM.
This game is so poorly optimised currently, and has memory leak issues. So even though it says it can run on 8GB, it doesn't run nearly well enough.
@@CandyKoRn Ohhhh that makes sense. Yeah I have 8GB of RAM. Thanks for the advice, I guess I'll just wait until it gets optimized a bit more.
Have you considered Stadia? I play this there and it runs flawlessly for me regardless of where I play it. It has been a blast so far but the lack of mods really does suck though. But my brother only has a school-issued Chromebook that he has been able to play all sorts of games with me that he normally couldn't.

That or you story evertything on a harddrive instead of ssd
I never got this scene in EA. How/Where does it trigger?
You character likes a desire demon from dragon age
Man, say what you will about the game but, characters look gorgeous.
Where do you guys get these weapons and armor from?
Nexus mods that unlocked datamined content.
does shadowheart has that outfit? or is modded?
Is there any condition to get this dialog? Or mb was it removed after release? Cose I got another absolutely flat dialog without any possibility of revealing something - just "Another episode? Why does this keep happening to you?" and 2 other options, that lead to nowhere.
What are those armors...?
where'd you get the outfits from? I haven't managed to find any like that yet
They are from a mod called Basket full of Equipment on the Nexus
@@03irisiris10 thank you!
oh? something new? I thought I already did everything, guess its time for a new character lol
What outfit mods do you use?
Mostly Basket full of Clothes, and Add All Items. There's a retexture mod on the tadpole dress to make it lilac and silver :)
How did you get that dress outfit for shadow heart?
Using a mod called Basket full of Clothes, and a texture mod to make the illithid lover dress silver and lilac
Lost an eye looking at the thumbnail, gentlemen
I like to think I play a lot of this game, but where do you guys get this armor??

@@chiporskip yes, there's a fair few on the Nexus!
Shadowheart... I feel like I know that from somewhere, but where?
Uh...Yeah I don't think she's actually a worshipper or at least she wasn't at some point of Shar, I think she worshipped Selune and something fucked done happened.
Hells, maybe she is Selune, captured and mind wiped to serve her sister as a worshipper. The statue bears a passing resemblance, we won't know till we get the full game :) though I'm not sure they would go that far, also it wouldn't quite explain how Selune Clerics are still empowered by their faith. So maybe she is just a brainwashed former Selune cleric
@@gruumy That or a Seluneic Aasimar
I am in agreement with you. I think Shar has fucked with her and gaslighted her after something bad happened, something Shar probably manipulated to happen. Meanwhile, Selune is trying her best to tell Shadowheart; "Hey, I never hurt you. I always ever wanted you to find your own way."
Shar: "Bitch is lying! That happened because she didn't tell you anything!"
Where is this clothing from that your character is wearing? i havent seen anything like it.

@@03irisiris10 Awesome. I was actually right now trying to instal the basket but I can't seem to figure out how to d it. I've other mds installed but this one is prooving to be a bit different. I instal everything manually and this being a realtively new game to me makes things a bit more difficult. In the mod page it says that this one has 2 sections for the code to work, I'm ok instaling the second bit ( the one with the atributes) but the first part I can't figure out how to do it. I'm currently using the latest version of the game with the patch3fix mod btw....any insight as to how I can make this mod work would greatly appreciated man :)

@@03irisiris10 Than on top of being able to read your bonuses and thus better look at the chances of success, that helps a ton. I am a fan of the loaded die however, as I found myself simply reloading every time I failed a check that i thought was befitting my character and their progression with other characters and the world around them.
what robes are Shadowheart wearing?
It's the dress the tadpole dream person wears, made available by a mod, called Basket full of Clothes, and then with a texture mod that changes the colour to lilac and silver

the question is why everyone in other games (except the japanese games) are fucking ugly that you are surprised to find beautiful people in a game
@@eastbow6053 they are ugly in games, to not let overweight western gamers feel so miserable so they would end their lives
@@hirdbarding3399 Ehhh not quite. When artists used to paint people back in day, they would often do more of a surreal version of them then something realistic. This was to stroke the ego. I think it's similar to the characters we create in games. We are incredibly vain.

@@kyuuart Very likely it's temporal antialiasing not being correctly clamped.
Yay pokies !
everyone in this game has a dark secret
I'm not sure that Lae'zel has one. She seems to be exactly what she appears to be. Although, considering everyone else, maybe something is still yet to come with her.
@@job5861 I think lae'zel doesn't really have one, I think in the full game it will play out like she's just sorta young and naive by githyanki standards so she's probably treated like shit by them, also due to the fact she was capped by mindflayers in the first place the githyanki would just consider that weakness and exile/kill her anyway. I think later on that might make her one of the more interesting characters tbh
