  • Historic news as 400 Russian soldiers have surrendered in central Vovchansk, the largest mass surrender of the entire war on the Russian side. These Russian forces were encircled at the chemical plant and for only 2 days held out until the surrender from today. Russian forces in the city are now seriously crippled with the loss of half a BTG. Meanwhile Ukrainian drone attacks continue to drive home damage into the Russian federation, as Russia takes high losses with very little gains.

My father, who sadly passed away in 2018 would have been 100 this year. He was born in a Ukraine, and fought with the partisans in World War 2. I know first hand how strong Ukrainians are, with big hearts. They will fight bravely with all they have, and will never give up. Today is fathers day. A day I remember my late father and how much I miss him. Spare a thought to all the brave Ukrainian soldiers (who are fathers) today. Those who are risking their lives to fight for the freedom of Ukraine. God bless you all ❤❤❤

My grandfather fought in the Winter and Continuation war.
He was angry 1 time that my mom can remember. Hard working farmer from the kindest family you can imagine.
He was broken, shellshocked and traumatized. But he survived.
I never got to know him, really. He was but a husk of his former self. All because Russia wanted to enslave all the Finns. Well, they failed.

Interesting, it looks like I was wrong about the Morozovsk strike, it's now said there were 70 drones involved, not just a few.
Two implications of that. First, apparently a lot of those drones were knocked down, the burn marks indicate maybe ten or so drones struck the ground? Why the drones fell is a matter of conjecture, most are speculating that Russian air defenses are nonexistent.
Second, as Denys points out, where are all the damaged Su-34's? Aside from the two (apparently) in the white-roofed structure, there's no sign of any damaged planes or debris. That means one of two things, either the Rooskies swept it all up before the next satellite came over, to avoid being confronted with reality, or . . . there's someone rotten in the Ukes who knew about this strike, and they warned the Russians, who quickly moved the jets before the strike. The two in the structure were being worked on and couldn't fly out.

We should never reward an aggressor like Russia at all - since the West (including Ukraine) and our peoples will not forgive Russia for generations to come…

Hi Matt and LSA, good facts, news getting better by the day. One of the best analysis considering based in US. Recently subscribed myself. Three bold suggestions:
    1) Collaborate (by live, podcast or similar) with any of your "rivals" from NAFO, 69th Sniffing Brigade, The Shills etc. That way..
    2) ..You'll get direct feedback and future personal perspectives from 1st/2nd source people closer to the region, its history and conflict itself - like ex-Warsaw pact countries and most important - Ukrainians. You'll have better insight on general mood in Ukraine and frontlines, opinions, morale etc. from their vloggers, new subscribers and chat (and they'll happily translate both Russian and Ukrainian content in real time).
[ I guess some Ukrainians and their closest neighbours must be watching you already, but are drowned out in live chat. I live next to Russia too (Baltics, not Ukraine), but right now can't use YT app and join the chat. I can translate Ukrainian and Russian where necessary, like commentary in some footage here. Also all the parties when collaborating benefit from exposure and engagement and rise the so much necessary public awareness, besides increasing funding.
    3) I know you've rised a ton of funds for Ukraine already, but consider permanetly finding worthy causes: with your popularity and reach you can do so much more. You can support particular units on frontline with what's most needed or trusted volunteers on the ground/NGO charities etc. to maximise the impact. These donations are nearly always much better value than official goverment aid too. Alternatively, one US vlogger doing this full time (with Greek surname i forgot at the moment) splits all income, personal donations and auctions 50/50 with Ukraine. Depending on donations it's fair enough (at least better than some pro-Ukraine vloggers) and makes the physical support constant. Drones, vehicles and medical supplies are most worthy causes for now. Just some wild thoughts, you're a rising force for good in this world. Can i count myself a part of LSA, even while broke and already a participant of NAFO?

The donations is ran through CZcams so that we can give without being ripped off like many streamers did back when the war started. It's transparent and better this way and we know it gets to the right place instead of some backwater guy that used all the donations for his drugs.

Russia is the richest country in natural resources. You are right about one thing, Russia will not give up territories that are already under Russian control. Do you know why? Because Ukraine had to comply with the Minsk agreements. and then the LPR and the DPR in the east of Ukraine would not have asked for help! Russia entered the territory of Ukraine at the request of these republics.according to the Treaty of Friendship and Mutual Assistance, reaffirming its commitment to the generally recognized principles and norms of international law, primarily the goals and principles of the UN Charter,

Nah, Russian nuclear treats are not really to worry about. If they even nuke Ukraine then all the radioactive fallout can also reach Moscow, and large portions of Russia. I don't think Putin is willing to gamble that. Furthermore, the state of the Russian nukes are questionable. If you see what the maintenance costs are of these warheads, the corruption in Russia, the already billions of dollars they spent on the conventional war it's unlikely that the Russia's nuclear arsenal is well maintained (ask "Jake Broe" about these costs, he worked in a ICBM silo for the US Military). Some key components are very rare and expensive (Tritium), which costs over $ 35,000.- per gram and tbh I have no idea how much tritium needs to be replaced every 12 years or so in strategic nuclear weapons. Putin knows his and just plays bluff.

Ukrainian forces are allegedly using gunfire to prevent Ukrainians from fleeing the country as Kyiv struggles to mobilise more troops to replenish heavy losses in fighting against Russia. Border guards detained nine people in a single day, according to reports.
