I’m an ancient nurse and NP. Early in the HIV outbreak I remember a young, handsome gentleman teaching us how to protect ourselves from body fluids. I remember the Ebola patients, the swine flu patients, and later the dying Covid patients. This man is a hero and idiots like green, and others don’t deserve to utter his name. This man and his dedicated team has saved more millions than we can count. There will always be haters, even Mother Theresa has them. My family of 4 as well.
Same here. I live in a small rural mountain community of about 300 people. We are mostly white seniors, retired and living on low fixed income.
Sadly, I'm one of only a few who did not join the trump cult.
In 2020, our community went against mandates and had their annual Christmas party. They took it a step further, and declared it would be a "maskless" event, and anyone who wore a mask would not be welcome.
I didn't go.
Yes, it was a super-spreader event. Most who attended got very sick, eight died, several still have long COVID and their quality of life is horrible now.
I didn't attend the party, and I've avoided my neighbors until about a year ago.
I never caught it, and I'm fully vaxxed (with absolutely NO side effects, except for good health!).

As a very young RN, I watched
The AIDS epidemic take the lives of many young men and women too. The virus was in our blood supply. These were good people. I held their hands and prayed for them. I never believed that this was a punishment from God. Our loving father, and His only Son, allow our suffering as a part of our human experience. It teaches us to have compassion, something that is sadly missing in our world today. Dr. Fauci is a compassionate hero.

doctors do not even have to try to save a life. i am the Humble DarkStar, and i have a condition called condition Cerebral Palsy a condition that makes muscles more stiff and tremors that have imbalanced me, my care team outside of the doctors offices consists of a 70 yr old part time nurse and the 20 hrs/week she brings to the table, and my grandmother who even at the ripe age of 84 can still keep the house together. in all honesty, had it not been for this nurse i would be living right now in a state facility of some kind and likely would not have the ability to even type all this out. There are many doctors, and nurses out there all equally deserving of respect, and it brings me great pride to show off the work of a 84 yr old grandmother, and that of the part time nurse that tags along with me. Stand Tall and Proud for those in White coats who do more than even my story suggests, and the army of nurses that they command.

I learned a lot from it…and Tony is a brave intelligent and humble human being. Once this came out on CZcams I sent to several of my friends because they need to know what it means to be a selfless hero…and a small part of his life’s story. I save a life I called EMT for man having a heart attack and he survived, thank me later and told me the doctor told him that in 15 minutes he could've died!!!
