Didn’t you forget about wireless image transmission? The S needs an extra accessory while in the lab it’s embedded, right?
Do you know which is more reliable for transmission?
How do u tell if the cheaper one is broken i bought one ways back ago but i feel it doesn't work right i have a eos rp n the motor can't move the camera i feel
Have you noticed the axis locks getting loose on either one?
Could it be that the Lab has built in image transmission while the S hasn't? If so that would be a major difference. I don't want to use the external image transmission box. I saw a video where the Lab could preview video and use tracking after a firmware update. The app of the weebill S looks very different and doesn't preview anything ... I bought the weebill s and now am thinking about returning it because I need tracking.

Exactly what I finally pointed out ! First, I thought they crippled the app, then I was like, wtf am I stupid, and finally : ok, they crippled the gimbal itself, not the app, to force us to buy the external transmitter ! Tbh, I've got the Weebill S for a year now and I like it a lot, untill I discoverd this "issue" while I needed the tracking feature for a project of hyperlapses.
So as you said, this is a major difference between the 2 gibals, if not the biggest one, since it impact the final weight, volume, cost and ease of use.
Anyway, lets have fun with our tools, crippled or not. ;)

Hei, jeg hadde weebil-laboratorium Gimbal, og uforutsett er firmwaren fald & jeg ser det oppgraderte firmware som er V 1.89 for å tilbakestille det manuelt. så tror du ikke kan du kopiere det manuelt fra din Gimbal og sende den til meg som en fil?

Well my Lab died after 6 months and there was no way to replace or fix it - also there is no manual firmware file available - so I‘d prefer any newer and hopefully more sustainable model

Isn’t there a quick connect/disconnect for the weebill s handle? In this video you unscrewed it.

If the motors are 300% stronger does that mean the payload is 3x bigger?

Well I do not see a difference as well. Definitely it is not worth the upgrade but for someone that is actually getting his/her first gimbal it would be a great option. My weebil works just fine for my a6400 with the 18-105mm F4 lens. I am having a small issue with stabilizing it perfectly but i just need some counter weight because the lens is heavier. 😁👍
There actually is a difference........the S is much smoother and it can hold more weight......i just sold my weebill lab and got the S and I have a lot more room for my hand also

If the Lab cost more than the S, why is the S more powerful, weigh less, have more torque and newer? Also why do you say that the S cost more than the LAB? It’s not so on B&H
