*Do you use a gimbal? Which one?*
Dunna Did It no, but i'd like to😉 I use a Neewer Steadycam
Nice! Matti Haapoja is a steadycam lover! He seems to prefer them over gimbals.
Dunna Did It yeah, because of the look. It's more natural but I like
1. Hyperlapses
2. longer focal lengths
3. run and gun
So a gimbal would be better😊
Oh, and my camera is too LIGHT for the steadycam... 😂🤦🏼♂️
AND: Matti uses his RoninS more and more, so maybe one day he will be switching 😂
Currently Using Moza AirCross ~
Cheap and good performance , but eyeing on webill lab!
@c.t. Cinematics - yeah very true, gimbals are actually getting better to the point where they rival the natural look of steadycams and they’re just so easy to use.
Thanks for your review and feedback! Here are my suggestions: 1. Don't forget to unlock all the motors before you turn on the gimbal. In our latest 1.83 firmware, we add an alarm sound for this thing. 2. When you take off your camera with arca plate and put it on, don't forget to screw up the screw on the plate to tighten it. 3. Since the high power wireless router is common in every house, when you use the image transmission, it works better in an environment with less or without interference. And we are optimizing our firmware for the performance.
Thanks for watching and for the suggestions! I noticed the alarm for the locked motors last night, very nice touch!
@@dunnadidit Glad to hear that! Hope you enjoy using the Weebill LAB
Zhiyun-tech I have trouble connecting the Sony a6300 to the app despite showing the connection. There is no image preview available in the app. I’m using iPhone XR. Very frustrating. Please help
@@janletocha The camera should be set to PC+remote mode. After turning on the gimbal and camera, please let them stay still for 1 minute and then connect your phone to your gimbal. Make sure both the gimbal's firmware and zy play app are the latest version
@@ZhiyunTechGlobal thank you for the quick and helpful reply. all works now apart from the image transmission as it states Failure - Unable to find stream information. What do I do wrong please?
Willow, absolutely a clear and wonderful review. Thanks Dunna.
Thanks so much! Glad you liked it!
Thank you so much! Unlike the other videos.. You explained this very well.. Thanks for the lesson..🙏🏾
Thanks for watching!
Nice Video for a new guy like me to learn how to set up gimbal with my camera. Really Thanks.
My pleasure!!
😍nice review J ....
That was informative ❤
Thanks buddy!
Really awesome review!! Love it! Keep it up!
The new cap looks good on you by the way!!
Thanks so much! I’m glad you liked the review and the cap! I’ll admit I was a bit nervous for the change(as small as it was haha)
@@dunnadidit hahaha yeah! small changes make us nervous more than big ones! But it does look great, as well as the new mug ;)
Wow that’s so true!!! Haha I wasn’t nervous about the mug though... just excited lol
@@dunnadidit hahahah lol :D
Very helpful video!! Cheers

Great video very informative thanks for sharing, as for the weight of the camera would the R5 or R6 be too heavy or would it be just fine?
I really enjoy this video. Good work!
Thanks a ton!
Great video man! keep it up this is dope
Thanks so much Matt! I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
Can't wait to see this in action in the studio!
I know! I’m so excited!!
Cool review mate!
Will test it soon🤙
Thanks so much! I hope you enjoy it!
really like the balancing part
Thanks so much!
Hey, is it true that when you connect to the wireless mode on the a6500 in 4k the back of the camera screen shuts off? But you can still see whats on the phone? Or the autofocus disables?
Nice vid man! Please do a "what's in my camera bag" video ❤
Thanks so much! It’s definitely on my list of videos to do! But I have some new gear coming so I’m waiting to see if it ends up in my bag lol 😁
Thank you! i think i need one for my a6300. good stuff.
Great combo for the Sony apsc camera’s!
Awesome review man!
Thanks buddy!
Great review bro!!!
Thanks a ton Adrian!
Great review! Very informative.
Thanks Scott! I’m glad you liked it!
Any word on the amount of wind it can handle? My primary use is to track moving cars from a moving car. So, would it be able handle 30-40 mile per hour wind with something like the 80D and a 17-55 on it?
very nice review! thanks!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
Thx for this review!! ;)
My pleasure!
I think i want the weebill. Such a fascinating device.
It’s definitely handy! Still can’t get over the size of it.
Looks like a great gimbal. Looking forward to trying it out with the Olympus E M1 mkii.
That’s awesome!
i think this will have to be a wish list item for when i can
I totally hear that!
thanks for the video!!!!
i have an sony a6500 with a sony g 18-105 f4 lens and in the future i will get a mic.
i want to buy a gimbal mainly for travel videos. do you think that this gimbal is the right one for my setup or should i go with the crane 2 ?
I have that exact setup plus I use a cage on my mic and I love the Weebill for it.
Hi! I'm thinking on buy this gimbal for making skateboarding videos, what do you think about its functioning for this area?, I ask cuz when you are filming skate, besides to go crouched, the frame needs to be a little bit inclined upwards in order to capture the skateboarder.
Do you have some references of videos filmed with this gimbal?
Thanks and good video!
Hey Javier! I definitely think this would be a solid option, especially with the underslung mode and you can definitely tilt it up like you would need to. I don’t have a whole lot on youtube with this gimbal but I’ve got one coming out in a week or so that has a few shots with this gimbal. Nothing with action sports or things like that though.
I’m going to look into it ••• to soon to tell it just came out.
Yeah, it’s research time! So far my experience is great though, definitely a big upgrade from my crane v2
Hi went through yours review completely, want to buy it too, just 2 questions:
1. Can I use canon sx50hs camera with this ?
2. Can I use same gimbal with iphone & camera?
Thankyou soo much for helping me out!
Hey! The sx50 should work. The iPhone might be a bit light.
my god i need this 😩 ..i have a wedding to shoot in april and i honestly think this is something that could help me elevate things to the next level 😭
It’s definitely a wonderful tool!
I’m shooting one in March! Just bought this! A huge plus!
Nice!
hi mate !!i am thinking to buy this gibal to use with my cannon 77d with 10-18mm setup. will it work fine or not???
In not sure what the weight of that setup is but if it fits within the max weight it should be good
I’ve just ordered it for myself I will be using it with 6D mkii do you think it will be good? Considering the camera an lens weight less than 1.5kg thanks
Sounds like it should be good since thr Weebill Lab payload is supposed to be 3kg
Hey your videos are looks awesome... which DSLR are you using
Sony a6500! And thank you!!
Did you ever get the timelapse mode to work with the Sony/gimbal and cell phone app?
Yeah, I definitely got it to work. There are a good handful of bugs that come up with it unfortunately. But when it does work, it works well.
Great review
Thanks a ton!
I'd like to see more content about how to stabilize this in depth if you have time. I got one the other day and still trying to figure out how to best balance it. First time using an external gimbal like this other than the Osmo Pocket. What tips and tricks do you have for balancing? I also found that sometimes when holding down on the buttons, the camera just goes A-wall and becomes completely unbalanced or all the axises are unlocked, but when trying to go to Vortex mode or any other mode, nothing becomes receptive and I see the message, "Axis Locked". Have you experienced this?
Thanks man.
Great Video...does it also work with Nikon Z6?
It should, probably depends on the lens though. You’ll have to check the weight.
Nice new design. did new gimbal performs better than the v2 ,can you please do some comparison video ? Thank you for your videos 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
It DEFINITELY performs better than the v2. It feels smoother and stronger and it’s way easier to hold as well. I actually used the v2 to film some of the b-roll in this video and I forgot how jerky it can be sometimes. I’ll see if I can slip in some test footage into another video 😁
Hi Dunna, do you know if this gimbal would work with the Sony A7iii x Sony FE 24-105 G OOS ? Thanks mate!
It should! That combo will be under the weight limit from what I can tell.
Hey Dunna
I am really inspired by every single of your video and have bought a pixel 2 xl. do you have any tips for newbie to shoot video on smartphone
Hey Naim! Thanks for the support! My advice would be to find an app that gives you a bit more control over the settings. I know for iPhone I like filmic pro, but I’m not sure what’s available for Android. And then beyond that would be just to practice and shoot as much as you can. Experimentation is one of the keys to learning!
@@dunnadidit thank you dunna. i will practice that. youre very nice replying to every single one of your comment. gonna support you until you reach the million milestone
My pleasure!! I love connecting with everyone and trying to help as much as I can! Thanks for your support!
Hi Dunna, nice review ! I am very excited by this gimble ! I sold my Feiyu a1000 for a better gimble. Do you think the Weebill could fit with the a6500 and the kit lens 18-105 ? Or the balancing will be to difficult due to the space between the back motor of the gimble and the camera ? Thanks again for your videos! Reallllllly useful! Take care. Alex
Hey Alex! This gimbal can handle the a6500 and the 18-105 no problem! I’ve tried it myself and it works great! If you decide to pick up the Weebill Lab, DM me on Instagram and I can hook you up with a discount code too 😉 @dunnadidit
@@dunnadidit No Really ?! Thank you very much ! XMAS is in advance this year ;) Sincerely I tried the a1000 but the Webill should offer much more possibilities. I will add you on Instagram thanks again Dunna!
Of course I’m happy to help! ‘‘Tis the season right!? 😁 I’m excited for you to have it!
Another great video from dunna!
Have you tried with the sigma 18-35? Or is that too much? By the numbers, it looks ok, but I’m starting to doubt a bit...
Thanks so much!
Unfortunately I don’t own that lens so I haven’t tested it , the gimbal does come with a brace for longer/heavier lenses like that so it might work if it’s within the specs. A buddy of mine said it has some trouble as you get closer to that max weight but that’s to be expected with any gimbal for sure.
Dunna Did It hannnn I tought you had that lens...well, guess I’ll have to keep investigating or ask directly at B&H to test it when I’ll be in NY. Great job anyway!
Yeah I wish! Unfortunately Sigma Canada just lent it to me to do the review and then I had to send it back. If I get my hands on any heavier lenses I’ll definitely test and let you know though!
Nice review, by far, I still could not shoot with my Weebill with a smoth and stalbe video, the gimbal were in perfect balance.
That’s weird, were you using a really zoomed in lens or something?
Can this gimbal carry my A6600 with 18-105 F4 lens?
Hi there! Cool video! Can this work with an old Nikon d7100 + Sigma 20mm 1.4 ART?? As I calculated the weight, it is within the limit... but not sure if the motors can handle it properly. Thanks for any feedback!
If it’s within the weight limit, it should work. Although if it’s pushing up towards the top of the weight limit, it might not be quite as smooth as something smaller
@@dunnadidit the body + the ART lens are around 2kg (approximately) so yeah it should work then... Thanks for the feedback!
My pleasure!!
Any idea on how the 'Go' mode compares to sport mode on the Ronin-S? I have a Ronin-S and honestly liked my Crane 2 more than it. Thinking about selling it for this since it has a sport mode and for the smaller footprint.
I think they’re very similar. I think maybe I need to do a bit of tweaking in the app though because I noticed that the up and down movements were a lot quicker in go mode than the left and right. Very nice feature though!
Also, if you do decide to make the jump over to the Weebill, hit me up on Instagram and I can hook you up with a promo code.
This looks like an awesome option for not getting the Crane 3 Lol, I only have a question, does it work with the remote follow focus from zhiyun like the crane 2?
It does have the ability to have a follow focus. You just have to buy it separate 😁
Thanks, didn't know it was a banana without the caption ! :D
No problem! Glad the titles helped 😂
Thanks for the great review! Planning to change my Zhiyun v2 but saw many complaints about Weebill Lap poor performance. Do you think it’s better than v2?
Yes I do! I am currently selling my V2 because I’m loving the upgrade!
@@dunnadidit great, really like the compact size.
Yeah it’s amazingly small and more powerful than the v2
great video. can you tell me the name of the backback you use too. does it keep the weeble with the camera on secure and padded enough?
Thanks! I use the wandrd prvke 31L and when I put it in the top compartment I feel like it’s got enough protection. I’m not super hard on my backpack though since it’s always got 2 cameras, lenses, my MacBook and basically my whole life in it. But I don’t completely baby it either.
I think there should be a link in my description for the bag if you wanna check it out :) (disclaimer, it’s an affiliate link)
@@dunnadidit thanks so much. A link would be great.
Hey!! How are you doing, I really can’t figure out whether or not the DJI Ronin S is compatible with the Sony a7iii song with the 28-70 lens. Could you please help me out, wanna go out and buy myself a Ronin S, will it be compatible with this setup ??
I might not be much help here as I don’t own any of those pieces of gear. My understanding is that the ronin s can handle pretty heavy loads though, hopefully that would cover you.
Have you tried it with the Sony a6500 and the 18-105 oss?
Yes I sure have! Works great!
I like it as much as I like the review. But my question is why didn't they put the smartphone attachment in the same pack? Good to see you again Dunna. It's been awhile.
I KNOW RIGHT!! I was under the impression that it would come with it to begin with but I guess they want you to buy the bigger package or get it separately.
Good to see you Obie! Thanks for swinging by!
Awesome video, should I get this or the ronin s, the ronin s is more tempting to me but I feel it would too large and overkill for a hobbyist like me, please let me know what way should I go, thanks
Seems like you have a good grasp on the pros and cons. I’ve heard people say that the ronin s functions better but it’s bigger and bulkier. As far as my experience, this works great and fits in my backpack.
hey, i was just wondering, what lens is on your camera while you use the gimbal?
The one that was on there during the tests was the Sigma 16mm f1.4. But I’ve also used it with the Sigma 30mm f1.4 and the Sony 18-105 f4 and they all balance great.
planning to get this but don't know if it can handle canon 80D + canon 24-70mm USM II..
It’s supposed to be good up to 6.6lbs so if you can weigh the combo you’ll know :)
Hey Mate !
Awesome review ! (Loved the banana for scale, haha!)
But i'm disappointed by the final footage in other reviews, i think it's too much shaky for a gimbal in 2018.
I will wait a bit more to see if you can get nice stable shots, but for my skiing videos, it may not work well..
Thanks dude! I’ve seen a couple reviews with some footage too. Mostly with longer lenses and in extreme conditions (running etc). I definitely noticed this being significantly smoother than my crane v2 right off the bat. But definitely worth looking further into for something like skiing. May not quite be powerful enough.
@@dunnadidit Alright, that's intresting if this is more stable sthan the v2.
I'm also a it afraid in cold conditions if the motors will be ok..
Actually I did some tests in the cold. Motors work ok(-12°C) but I noticed that the batteries died quickly. It was the day I had got it though and I was just running the juice out of the batteries straight out of the package without charging them up first, so that may have had something to do with it. More testing to be done.
@@dunnadidit wow, awesome, first time i have this info !
If i could have some spare batteries i could be able to charge it in the backpack via a powerbank.
Thanks a lot Dunna, this is excatly the king of info i need !
That’s a great idea!
Glad I could help dude!
Cool review bro! Have a questiom though, im using a Sigma 16mm 1.4 and Sony 18-105 on my Sony a6300 but the lenses i use on the weebill always seem to touch the plate where you attach the camera from. (not sure if im putting it right anymore) it also has a Knob that looks like a "Y" to hold the lens below, but im not seeing it in your review.
And yeah, want to know how your lens is not touching the plate.
Thank you!
This is a great point! I almost always have my camera in a cage or on an L bracket which lifts it up by about half a centimeter. So I haven’t run into this problem. But I just tested it out and you’re right. With the tiny body of the a6xxx series, the lens can hit the plate. I would suggest adding a quick release plate to the plate of the gimbal. Not only does it lift up the camera a bit, but it also makes it super easy to balance if you typically use the same lens with your gimbal.
@@dunnadidit Thanks a lot Dunna! Theres actually a small plate included in the basic kit with no actual instructions for its usage. It has a purpose now - to lift up the gear!
Oh yeahhhh!!! I remember that, I think it’s in a drawer somewhere now. That totally makes sense to me now 🤦🏻♂️
I need a vloging gimball but i dont know which one between crane plus, weebill lab and ronin s.
What do you think ?
Weebill for sure, the other ones are going to be super big and heavy for blogging.
I have a balancing question, when you get it balanced. If you lock the axis'es before removing the camera. As long as you put the same camera/lens back on do you have to balance it again? I wanna get this + a BMCC4k. And I know the battery life is horrendous on that camera. Your video makes it look like a 45 second process. But, from other videos I'm guessing it's a bit more involved time wise lol.
If you keep everything in the same place after balancing, you don’t have to rebalance when putting the same combination back on. That’s the beauty of the quick release system. Maybe a quick check to make sure it’s still good but not a full balance.
Also, once you get good at doing the balance, it really is just a 45sec-1min process.
Have figure it how to use with the peak design capture quick release and Sony a7iii?
If you want to use it with the peak design plate, you’ll have to attach an arcs Swiss receiver plate onto the gimbal.
The handle screw for this gimbal to carry you think is tighten enough? I have one, it got losen, then I return to them.
I haven’t had any problems with anything being too loose on it.
Great job
Thanks so much!
Does it control A6500 over the wire or wireless and I have to start Remote App on A6500 for that?
You can do both!
With the wire, your controls are on the grip.
Wireless you use the remote app (I’m pretty sure, I tested this out when I first got it but haven’t used it since)
I really love this gimbal set up!
But other reviews says it shakes at time ( as you mention the small motor )
But for someone who just wants to shoot videos for fun and get my feet wet do you think the wibal is good enough ?? Or something like crane 2??
I currently have an a6500
Honestly I haven’t experienced the shake yet and if you’re just someone trying to have fun and get your feet wet this will be a great gimbal. The video I’m releasing today uses this gimbal a bunch and I had no issues with it at all! Let me know if you have more questions, or if you are gonna pick it up, DM me on Instagram and I can give you a discount code 😁
Dunna Did It
I don’t have iG but can I reach you through your Twitter?
Thanks for the feedback .
I’m going to give it a shot
Hey! If you want to email me the address is in the description too! That might be easiest then if you’re not on IG.
This can handle sony a6400 + sigma 16mm 1.4 ? Is it better than crane 2 ? I am new to camera things . Have no idea what to buy .
It will definitely handle that combo! I think this will have a similar weight capability to the crane 2 but this is super small and light and easy to pack. So it depends a bit on what you need out of it.
@@dunnadidit So why we should choose crane 2 and why we should choose weebal lab
Crane 2 (fromenwhat ive heard) has a bit more power and is therefore potentially a bit smoother.
Weebill Lab is smaller, more packable, better for travel.
hei man... im about to trade my crane plus for this weebil lab.
i have exactly same gear/lens as you used on this video (also with that smallrig L rig). what are you thoughts abut the trade?
Unfortunately I’ve never used the crane plus. But I really like the Weebill. I love how compact and light it is.
Are there any options for the gimbal to charge the camera while shooting? That feature is really with the Moza gimbals and their optional battery accessory.
I’ll double check, I know there is a usb c port on the handle but I didn’t try it yet!
As far as I can tell so far, no. It looks like that usb c is just for firmware updates I think.
Dunna Did It ah thanks for the info!
My pleasure!!
Cannot wait for the box to reach.
What do you mean?
@@dunnadidit I mean webill box ☺️🤓 have ordered it and waiting for it to reach
Oh! That’s super exciting! I can’t wait for you to get it!
What would be the maximum weight of a lens for the Weebill Lab?
I’m not sure specifically for the lens, but the entire weight is up to 6.6 lbs
Hi Dunna, thanks for the info on this video, I just got mine and couldn't work out the quick release part until watching your video. Reading the latest comments and your replies, it seems your quite pleased with it, could you share with us your recommended settings and tips on how to get the most out of this gimbal, thanks. I also have the Ronin S and so far my favorite feature of the Weebill is the size, weight, locks and quick release plate that allows one to get up and going so much faster than most other gimbals
To be completely honest, I’ve left it on the stock settings so far! I think the best way to get the most out of it is really just to play with all the modes as much as you can and understand the capabilities and limitations of the tool itself. Just like any other filmmaking tool, it’s going to take some time but once you’re familiar with it, you’ll be able to use it how you want! Hope that helps!
@@dunnadidit Thanks for the feedback, makes sense and much appreciated
My pleasure!
Have you had any luck creating motion timelapses with your Weebill? I have an A7Sii and can't get it to work. Thanks!
Yeah I’ve done a couple but the app has always been a bit buggy tbh (it’s still the same app as my older zhiyun Crane v2). What part is giving you trouble?
@@dunnadidit Thanks for the reply. I can set it up but when I hit start on the app, the camera doesn't start recording or taking photos(Weebill does start motion and the app says it's recording). If I set the app up for a video timelapse it will record but the weebill doesn't preform the motion. Appreciate the help!!!!
Hmmm, i haven’t tried it in a while so I don’t want to give you the wrong info or just guess. This might be a better question for zhiyun support.
So... According to Zhiyun support the weebill doesn’t support the A7Sii for motion timelapse. Bummer!!!
Oh no way! That’s too bad!
Hi
I have just ordered one of these. Has anyone tried using a Canon 70D with 18-135mm lens setup? If so is the gimbal able to hold the weight.
Also, Does the Wireless feed work for the gimbal with the canon 70D plugged in? I have searched online and on Zhiyun's website for model and lens compatibility but no comments on the Canon Setup.
Please let me know anyone has tried the setup. If not and if you have the same question, Wait a few days till I get my gimbal and I will post an update to this comment. :-)
I plan to use it with my (sony a7riii and tamron 28-75 new version for sony) do you think this set up is ok? I want to know before i buy it
I think so but I’m not 100% sure since I don’t have those items to test. Your best bet is to either contact zhiyun or find the weights of your items and see if they are within the suggested weight.
@@dunnadidit yes as gymbal the crane lab 3
I want to buy the crane lab 3 to use with my sony.i want to.make sure if i can use with my a7riii and 28-75 tamrom
The crane 3 lab should be good for that setup I think.
Hello, I did observed that there is a USB Type C port at the left side of the Weebill Lab which no one is making a review about it on CZcams, I actually plugged in my USB Type C cable and connected it to my PC and it seems like it was charging the batteries, once I took the batteries out and still left the cable connected I was able to power on the Weebill without the batteries inside of it, out of curiosity I had to read the labeled parts of the Gimbal from the manual once again and it is actually labeled as; 21- Firmware Upgrade Interface. if you have any idea how this works please share with me. Thanks!
Very interesting! Thanks for sharing I’ll have to do some digging to see if I can find out more.
Okay, I'll patiently wait cos I really want to know the main reason why that port is there. Thanks for your response!
Will it work with the a6300 + the 16-50mm kit lens.
Absolutely!
I currently have a crane 2 and I usually use it with my a6300 and sigma 16mm.
Do you think it’s worth selling the crane 2 and get the weebill lab instead?
Thanks!
Maybe if you really need something more compact. But other than that, I’d say you’re probably good with your crane 2
@@dunnadidit Thanks Dun! That's actually the main reason why I'm thinking of getting it and I was thinking maybe it'll get less attention when I'm filming outdoors compared to when I'm using the crane 2.
Awesome! Glad to help!!
JUST BOUGHT ONE YEEEEEHUH
NOOOIIIIIICCCCEEEE!!
Do you think this would work well with Fujifilm cameras? I'm considering pairing it with my X-T2 and some native and adapted Nikkor lenses.
Heck yes it would! This would be great for them! I’ve been testing an X-H1 on it!
Dunna Did It great to hear, did you test with the battery grip? Looking at this the ak2000 and the moza air 2 but can’t decide witch way to go.
I did! It took a bit more time to balance and I preferred it without the grip on the gimbal, but it did work.
Dunna Did It Thanks for the reply, do you think it gets top heavy with the battery grip?
I think maybe that’s why it took a bit longer to balance maybe. It’s just a much taller setup. Luckily the grip and batteries weighs a bunch so I think it keeps the weight distribution fairly nice.
Can I use it with the sony a7m2 with the 28-70 attached to it?
I’m not 100% sure tbh. You’ll have to check the weight on that setup.
Will the Canon D70 work in terms of weight?
No idea! You’ll have to look up the weight of your camera and lens
i'm having trouble locking down the sled of the weebill. any suggestions?
Hmm that sounds weird! One thing I forgot to do in the video was twist the screw that really locks it down but honestly it’s still pretty right even without. Are you not able to flip that one locking switch?
I can flip the little black knob. So, I tightened the nuts down but they seem to slip. Especially the right and left adjustment. Btw, I’m running the a6400, 18-105 Sony on a manfro adapter and plate. Just to give you an idea of the payload I’m running
Good vid
Thanks a ton!
help me please! i just bought a new ronin s and plugged in the charging cable to the usb c port it started to charger but when i tried to remove the cable it got stuck to gimbal and is not coming out of the c port!! HELP PLEASEEEE!!
Not sure how to help... I’ve never had that happen and I don’t own a robin. Sorry 🤷🏻♂️
Hi, what is the USB-C port on the handle for? Sorry for the dumb question.
I believe it’s for upgrading firmware!
@@dunnadidit Thanks so much for your helpful answer! I bought a used Weebill Lab and it didn't come with the battery charger. =( I was hoping I could charge it through there, or somewhere. I really appreciate it!
Thats super weird... it definitely should have had a charger in there.
Hey I got a Sony a6500 with sigma 30 mm f1.4 u think it would work wit this ginbal
Absolutely, I’ve personally tried that setup.
Dunna Did It Great thanks for response , love your tech videos bro !
Thank you!!
Hi Dunna! Could you add something after several months of use? Is it really the best one?)
I’m still really enjoying it! I still think it’s the best one if you want something small that still functions well with medium sized setups.
@@dunnadidit thx!
did Zhiyun disable video transmission to phone without transmission module ??
Not sure! I know they sell a separate module now though.
Does ot have micro shake ? I see for some people weebill has it ...
Not that I’ve noticed, all gimbals can have that though if they aren’t balanced properly or if the motors are working too hard.
can i use canon mark 4 with 24-105 in Weebill Lab Gimbal
Not sure what the weight is on it, but if it is within the weight that I mentioned you should be good
thanks for reply
Looking at getting this for my travel trips due to it's size. I shoot on an a6500 with both a 18-105 G and 16MM Sigma 1.4 wanted to make sure it would work with both lenses flawlessly before I purchase, since I saw you have and use both. Thanks! also, great video!
Works like a charm with both!!
Hell yeah thanks man! This will be my first gimbal couldn't be more stoked.
I’m stoked for you!! Feel free to use that link in the description if you want 😉
@@dunnadidit will do! Also I've watched video after video on this thing. The part that kills me is when people expect a lightweight travel gimbal to work with their full frame DSLR with a large lens. Hahaha. Their camera setups weigh more than the gimbal! Thanks again man.
Haha yeah, everything has their limits. It’s too bad that people get upset when it doesn’t defy physics. That being said, I have heard of people with setups just under the manufacturer described weight of several gimbals having trouble. So I would assume the manufacturers exaggerate that just a little bit. Good practice would be to give yourself a little bit of headroom when buying a gimbal. But like I said, I have the same setup you do(and I use a smallrig cage) and have definitely had success 😁
Hi Dunna, do you know what’s the weight of the gimbal itself?
2lbs :)
@Dunna Did It that’s abt 900 grams...wonder if DJI will come up with something lighter.
Yeah I don’t know! Definitely something they’re probably thinking about!
Did you use the gimbal with IBIS? Or just the gimbal itself?
In this video, I was using it with a camera with ibis on, but I’ve used it with my a6400 with no stabilization and the footage looks great still!
Thanks Dunna. I've seen many reviews about this gimbal and the named the weebill lab "weebill wobble" because they say that it's not that good in stabilizing, but some say that it is because of the default settings of the gimbal.
As long as you balance it properly, it works great for me! You can also do some tweaking in the app if you need to.
It was announced a week after I bought Crane Plus :(
And I still waiting my overweights, because a6500 is too light for it. Hard times
Oh no! I didn’t realize the crane plus had a heavy minimum weight!
"Hard times" 😂👍
When I go into the settings menu of the weebill and change the motor power from low to mid or high, the motors will sometimes start to vibrate in certain angles. Do you got the same problem? In „low“ the gimbal works fine
I haven’t experienced this on my Weebill yet but I remember it from my crane v2. Any time the motors are overworked there a bit of vibration. I’m not sure if this is common to all gimbals or not though.
So maybe its a bug then 🤔 the problem is the same for all lenses (35f18, 18105 and kit lens) with my a6000 and I can‘t imagine why the „low power“ setting should work better with my 18105 then the „high power“ setting, that doesn‘t make sense 😄
Yeah I would get in contact with zhiyun on this one... they would know better what’s going on.
@@NOSPowerxxxl Did you ever get the problem fixed? My Weebill has the same problem, but it immediately starts to vibrate over even, if it stands still on the tripod. I use it with a6000 and Sigma 30mm, and i only can use it on low.
Max M no i haven‘t, that‘s why I send it back to Zhiyun and bought the dji ronin sc
Which gimble is best ( zhiyun crane 3 & weebill lab) for canon 200D & 5D
Really depends on what you need. The Weebill Lab will be better for travel and packing away small. But the crane 3 may be a bit stronger (disclaimer, I’ve never used the crane 3 so I’m guessing here)
ordered 1 just today, amazon has a 10% coupon off from certain sellers and no tax. Sold my Crane v2 to offset the cost of the Weebill Lab
That’s awesome!
what are the main differences between weebill can crane 3 lab?
Basically the Crane 3 Lab has a heavier payload ability, it’s a bit bigger, it has a dedicated underslung handle with extra controls on it, a more pronounced joystick. They are kind of like siblings. The Crane 3 Lab won’t be as compact for traveling and such but it will give you some extra features and allow you to carry heavier rigs.
I was away from social media for sometime but I'm back again
Good to take a break sometimes if you can!
