i know im 2 years late, but i would love to know how long this whole piece took you?
i am triing to get into digital art myself and got the feeling lately that i waste alot of time on simple steps.
No worries. I actually can't remember! But back then I would spend a good 4 days or so on a piece. But yeah a lot of detail can be wasted if you wanted to go the route of being loose. Hell of a way to increase productivity too (to make one's style looser. More paintings per unity of time!)
