ayo I play master tier. Most of what I see in your videos I know, however sometimes I find some interesting stuff. Is there anything you have to offer for Apex Tier Players? Regards

12:00 I know the video is about basic mechanics and Graves E is just used as an example for dashing into a wall to cancel animation but I thought I'd mention it anyway.
Something that literally only Graves mains know about are unlocked animations, which means you get to cast your abilities with no animation whatsoever. The most useful applications for it are an extremely fast QE (which you can also redirect or extend) or to cancel your R knockback with E. There's 3 states in which you can use it:
1. 2 bullets, right after you AA.
2. 1 bullet, right after Graves starts reload animation.
3. 0 bullets, right after Graves starts reload animation.
You can look up "graves unlocked animations" on youtube, there should be a video explaining it in detail. No Graves main worth their salt is using dry E, they will always pair it with Q, W or R.
Hmm, might just have to give you credit if we cover this in a future mechanics guide 😉
Holy hell.. I knew I didn't know how to play league but I REALLY didn't know how to play lol
That ward mechanic is soooo good, I didnt even know
Is it, though? You need to fast click on the ward, then quickly move your mouse to hover over the icon, then read the label, and finally move to over the wall to flash, dash, etc., which takes about 3/4 to a full second - in the meantime, the ward placer has most likely moved away from your gap closers. In cases when they wouldn't (camping over baron pit, for example), it is likely they won't be alone, and it will be the support who places the ward. It seems to me to be more of a situational gimmick, than something of an actual use in most cases. Granted, people in challenger or pro play might find more use of it, but for pretty much everyone else... nice knowing it, might come useful sometime, but I wouldn't rely on it.
To input buffer abilities like that, do you need to have "Clamp cast target location within max range" disabled?
Can we please get clarity on this? I am curious if that would prevent the input buffering from working?
Yes, it has to be disabled for input buffering to work or else you would just cast your spell immediately on the spot.
On the annie ult yes it matters, because with it enabled, the ult would instantly cast before you can input flash. Few abilities work that way tho. test it in practice tools as always
Yes, you do. Apologies for not clarifying this in the video. Clamp cast will prevent you from input buffering those types of abilities.
I'll clarify even more. Skill shots or untargeted abilities REQUIRE the clamp max range setting to be DISABLED to properly input buffer. However, targeted abilities like akali r 1, malz ulti, etc. all can be used input buffer wise with the setting active!
thanks that advice helped me realize i need to improve there, i have the core down but i was running too much on reaction
Really starting with common knowledge :D
More interesting was when first implemented, you could see who acitvated the vision plant, by looking at the source of the status effect. Sadly riot removed it.
If ur not used to using attack move with the left mouse clicking like myself u can still have the benefits of seeing the range indicator if you just press the attack move button and then just press whatever your attack move click button is on and it will still attack move u just don’t have to click on the left mouse button it gives about the same result so for me for example it will be clicking X(attack move) and then instead of clicking my left mouse button I click A(attack move click)
I love this idea, but finding an alternative key to use is so hard x messes up my hand
NA start to discover league of legend
This is mainly for newer players or unskilled ones that want to improve but do not know what they are doing wrong
Sorry faker
and still see victory screen before EUW 😆

15:47 actually three.
You can also use shit+right click. That way you are still using your right click as before.
Extra Trick: Using this on Kalista allows you automatically jump in that direction where you are clicking.
for spacing, the biggest issue is knowing the range of ability in every matchup. if you dont know that, do you really know if the ability cast is at its max range or not
That’s simply the person not playing enough. You have the tools you have to actually play and learn the game and all the champs. There’s no easy way around it
Good video nice animations and explanations
The most stupidest thing i hate about this game is the fact that you can't click on the enemy hero to check what kind of spells they have. As a new player, I have to google every character. Also, why is it so hard to just add their skills and range of these skills so I could check them in the game and be aware of them..
I agree. I wish there was an easier way of not only finding the information, but then training to memorize it.
Lore wise, I would love to see how devastating Samira is when she's out for blood and cuts all the fancy stuff. No twirls, cool tricks, or showing off. Like, what would happen if someone stole her car and killed her dog?
You always hear about recovery and windup animations. But there is no tip to actually recognize these in game. I can't accurately see when the damage has landed and the windup started on melee champs which I mainly play.
wdym, just go to pratice pool and spend 10-20 mins on every champ u play to auto attack dummies and trying to cancel autos with abilities. Just pay attention to the moment when dmg from auto is dealt, and press skills immedeatly after, thats it. Btw, (helpful info for u probably) u can do it with - darius W, jax W, wukong Q, voli QW, renekton W, illaoi W, reksai Q, kayle E, sett Q (but in his case u use Q ONLY after second punch of AA otherwise u lose tons of dmg), camille Qs (AA cancel musthave aswell)
it's annoying that many people know about animation canceling but do not understand it.
I've had noobs arguing with me that if you spaceglide/orbwalk (walking in between auto attacks by canceling the recovery animation immediately after each autos) you will do more autos, which is completely false. It only allow you to move around more while doing the exact same number of autos, but they just don't understand and insist it will let you do more autos.
Talon Q and autoattack is pretty hard bc if you got 3 abilities hit and wanna hit Autoattack after q its pretty hard to miss that autoattack. The Animation took very long to put that Autoattack on and you have less damage for Bursting :(
all in all, like any fighting game, bait and fight, footy if you will :D
nice tips ty
Bro, im not sitting there assuming the spell range of each enemy champion😂
“Hmmm was is 600 or 700?” And where the f is even 600 range?😅
Wdym? Knowing the approx range of every champs ability is the bare minimum for advanced gameplay
? If you've played the game longer than 6 months you should have an idea of each spells range
if u play enough its just muscle memory to realize the range of every champ
if you do not want to learn every spell range, you can just learn during the match itself. Get hit a few times, learn how far the spell goes, then adjust accordingly to the matchup.
I think y’all probably misunderstand what he’s saying here. No one actually considers specific range for each champ but people have an overall idea. so this “tip” is really just common sense lol
how do you space a xerath support without giving up the wave completely? i feel like thats impossible as if you try to stay out of his range you will never be able to get any minion at all.
Not every movement ability goes over the wall when half of the cursor is over it. The example I struggle a lot with recently is Khazix e where you have to put your cursor the whole way over the wall and then you only go over
I always forget to auto attack. Does it make sense to bind it on the left mouse button?
I would advise against binding it to left click in in-game settings. That option comes with many uncomfortable things, such as not being able to pan camera on minimap without going in that direction (you can turn off minimap movement but for me it is disadvantage).
I play with Attack Move Click on LMB but i use my mouse software to change left click with mouse button 5, and can recommend that. You will still be able to easily pan camera on minimap etc.
For answering your question: i think it is better to bind it to left click, mostly cause:
1. You are dedicating one finger for one of the most important commands in lol
2. Attack Move Click is faster than Attack Move + Left Click
3. (Personal) I Find in more comfortable (Yasuo) to cancel auto attack animations with LMB than changing finger from Q to A (or other key)
Note: Changing setting probably will not solve your problem of forgetting to auto attack, but just will make auto attacking a little more comfortable for you
@Qiu-Yasuo thank you. I'll try remapping the mouse buttons with the program for the mouse
Nice beach
About those nifty movement tricks, well it's not hard to tell legit player skill from scripting because cheaters generally use it to dodge ults/skill shots with uncanny regularity.
For eg. I quitted WR because I suspected my opponents were scripting; what Riot (Ten Cent?) didn't tell their players was that to ensure the mobile game's smooth launch they secretly autofilled player teams with bots (I KNEW my team mates were 'funny'!!), so yeah there was scripting going on but half the time it was _official._ 🤣
In the PC game it is MUCH harder to cheat this way because all the fine details (such as mouse pointer position) are recorded so scripters who play for keeps have to play safe with using only range circles and autopots. Cheaters who mass produce low elo accounts for sale could not care less if they were caught.
How to get used to the max. range? Just by exp?
About the 4 tip, it' very confusing. sometimes I can QW ith Fiora into Sett's CC and ome games I can't. It seems to be depending of players ping but i it about this? I also have the case with Vladimir's pool into Pantheon's W: Either I have it all or I miss all the game.
Would someone tell me?
Can we put Hector to some experiments? Make him play Yorick sup
Input buffering for all! My top laner wants some equality in that department.
Please can u do a video about Zyb (BO) ? When he came to EUW for first time he got like rank 1 in 2 weeks with 65%wr MVP of 95% of his games,
Just watch the vods and you’ll learn more than an actual video. It’s way more boring but you’ll learn way more
@@lihdegu8294 but i just cant understand when some proplayers do some plays and idk if this Play is correct or just flip etc
@@kejnmejn9225 no one knows the ideal optimal play. In 10 years from now if the game is still around it won’t be played the same way at all. You learn from watching their decisions and trying to copy them or learn why they did a certain thing and apply it to your own games to better yourself. Even if you can’t grasp small concepts look at the bigger picture and you should be able to learn a lot if you open you mind to it. A lot of the pros have dedicated a large portion of their life studying interactions and knowing matchups near perfectly. There’s a ton to learn and it should be hopeful. You could watch LS, or veigar v2 lane coaching and it will help a lot too. I’m a khazix player so I watch Qiuyi khazix vods from the super server and copy his play style. It’s worked for me this season and got me to gm
Playing Rek’sai actually forces you to master mechanic 3.
that mechanic 2 doesnt work with diana ulti?
15:50 There is some way to use this, but with attack indicator range?
You probably can bind both (Attack Move and Attack Move
Click) to the same key, im not sure if it can be done in in in-game settings, but you can definitely bind it that way in json file. Or You can bind show advanced stats to the same key (instead of attack move).
But i would recommend binding attack move to some key you can easily press (for me it's x) and press it when you need it.
Or bind show advanced stats or attack move to right click or space (but it has a few uncomfortable things, such as taking some screen space or not being able to left click something after right clicking)
It's because I'm already used to using the A key when I have a lot of attack speed, but it's difficult without the range being indicated.@@Qiu-Yasuo
And yes, it is impossible to bind both in in-game settings.@@Qiu-Yasuo
thx for the tips now i can defeat m fiernds
in mobile leends
Good video
Okay, okay, okay, but how do you know the enemy's range?
You can google the ranges but, other than that you can pick champions that are played a lot that you notice and take them into a practice tool and learn that way as well. Otherwise just watch when you are playing against them.
Sadly there is no in game way of knowing (other than practice, etc.). There is a lol wiki, it is mostly accurate and you can check enemy spells info there. You can also download some in-game overlay, i think mobalytics have enemy champion ranges and cooldowns, but it hinders performance of the game at least on most computers
HOLY IM LOW DIAMOND ELO AND I DIDNT KNOW 3 out 5!....
i feel restless watching you cancel your autos with amumu e :D
damn... ive been playing league since Vi was the newest champion and ive either not been doing any of this shit or doing it wrong.
The german League Wiki just doesnt show the cast times xD
Too bad there's no way to use the flash skill trick on my tablet
Cries in 500 ping
show me jinx tricks pls
but my jg died 11 times in 20 mins
so like you expect us to know range of all possible skillshots in the game bro i don't even know what range even means it says 600 like 600 what 600 where :/
You can remember ranges (numbers) of some spells you have really good grasp on. For example Ahri Q and use that as reference to estimate how far are you from enemy). Sadly there is no way to check ranges in game so you can only check them in lobby on lol wiki.
LOL is too hard can a get a free course plsss
It’s not hard. It requires time to learn and discipline. I hate to break it to you but you actually have to play and self reflect after each loss to actually become better. You can’t just play, watch courses and expect to get better. If you actually want to get better than learn the way to consistently improve and you won’t need anyone. I went from bronze 4 in s6 to now being grandmaster and I never spent a single dollar on any courses or coaching. It was all my own work and vod reviewing. I watched mainly LS, veigar v2, drututt, tarzaned, and other Chinese/ Korea high challenger jg vods like qiqi khazix. Just imo though if you aren’t good enough to retain or do these tactics in game you haven’t played enough and don’t have enough knowledge to even be plat which is a huge problem. Play all the champs to at least 30k mastery and every role.
im using this mechanics and know about them but im still diamond :c
these videos are mostly meant for people below diamond, skillcapped isnt very good at helping any further than d4
It's ok. Just like your grammar, it'll get better little guy.

Half of these mechanics are bad coding
2 out of 5 "mechanics" are pure LoL bug abuse for bugs which are now considered "features" / "mechanics". Why wouldn't Riot make all animations uncancellable, so that the game would be fair both for new players as well as pros? How is that for a radical idea? For me the initial appeal of LoL over DoTA(when it was still using WarCraft 3 engine) was many Quality of Life features, like seeing the ranges of your skills or the ability to press a skill button without having to click the mouse button afterwards or seeing your health bar split into 100 hp and 1000 hp sections. Why not just add settings to the game allowing players to choose which ranges to be constantly displayed (like auto attack ranges or Q ranges or other skills) for any champions you choose during the match loadout screen? Thus you wouldn't have to memorize the invisible ranges for all the champions. For kiting, why not make a single command key "move in this direction auto-attaking the nearest enemy whenever auto attack if it is off cooldown"? This is not perfect, but still would help the new players tremendously. Why not do this? Don't we all want to be able to use our champions to the max without some BS hidden counterintuitive mechanics or being able to reach 200 effective APM all the time? This would make your decision making more important than you speed and precision with the mouse. These are just examples of potential QoL changes which would make the game more fun for the majority of players and would be consistent with what made LoL better than DoTA from the very start.
I thought all of these were common knowledge lmao
