Tetragon 213 you're right, but the cheapest cruise ship ticket from Miami to Cuba is about $800, the cheapest flight is $80, because we didn't find any "economy class" ship anymore these days (except in the 3rd world country)
Mick Tello Raises an interesting question, though. What does count? The SS Rotterdam is still around, much like the Queen Mary. Interestingly enough, the SS Stockholm is still sailing, last time I checked. I guess that counts, though it was never prestigious enough to take its place amongst the greats.
I feel bad that the white star line has ceased to exist. But at least the Queen Mary 2 is the last ocean liner that symbolizes the bygone era that provides the top quality luxury and travel.
When the naked steel is constructed every single panel is rusty. How do they paint it, over the rust or do they remove the rust before and how? Sandblast the whole surfaces before painting?
