This. THIS is fundamental Pentatonix. I feel like they’re finally back to being 100% in their groove for the first time since Avi left. I think they’ve done well and had fun up to this point, but there was still a bit of growing to do and this seems like they’ve finally hit their stride. Love it!! Love you guys!!

I agree (with Cindy Fogle's original comment). Matt really shone in this. I always expect some of them to be great (Mitch and Kirstie, for example), but Matt really stood out to me as a highlight in this arrangement. For one thing, the mic was turned up enough that I could really hear the bass (which was smooth and solid and strong), and I loved his solo :) But besides that, this was extremely polished.... IMO one of their best, if not their best, "evolutions." And I am so out of touch, I really don't know Ariana Grande's songs, but this was very good.

This still gives me flashbacks to the 100 sings challenge but Mitch is amazing!
The bass singer and the beat boxes are always the most impressive ones to me. Some times they do the most background and subtle things that change everything to how it sounds. I really love watching and hearing them work their magic!
