You see how many people loved Johnny. Black folk. White folk. Any folk. They loved him. Poor. Rich. He was awesome. Rappers even loved him. He was always with the little guy.

They sure are! I seriously doubt there will ever be anyone else to fill EITHER of there shoes....... Same goes for Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson or Merle Haggard, Jerry Reed, or Roy Clark. George Jones would be another who can NEVER EVER be replaced! And others, bc they were the real deal!

I am so blessed to have been alive in their times to KNOW what and who real singer/ songwriters/and poets were in my lifetime ! Bobby Dylan would ALSO be in my time, with Jagger/Richards and Lennon/McCartney and so many others! I haven't seen ANY better singer/ songwriters since these! Hank Williams Jr. , proved he was born with his daddy's talents, AND HIS OWN! May GOD BLESS THEM ALL! And I am truly grateful to have been able to experience these greatest of great entertaining SuperStars, in their time ,which has also been my time, and I sure have loved all these great entertainers!!!❤

I am 68 years old and I will defend Kid Rock. I live in Michigan but spent most of my life in Ohio where I was born and raised so this is not a Michigan thing. The guy I idolized was Buddy Holly. I never knew Waylon played in his band. When Rap started to become big, my daughter was hooked on it. I hated it. I hated it more than my Dad hated the King of Rock and Roll and the Beatles. The difference with Rap is that is incredibly low life, filthy language, talked about disrespecting women in the worse ways, wanted cops to die, etc. I was always yelling at my kid, but she was old enough to make her own decisions so we made a pact that she would listen to it in her bedroom and would keep the volume down. One day I came in from work and she was playing something that I liked. It was like a Rap song but had a good melody and the guy actually sang. I asked her who it was, and she said Kid Rock. OK, why don't you buy more of his stuff? Then I saw Kid Rock with Hank Williams Jr. on a TV special. The Kid knew all Hank's songs. Hank said the Kid knew the words better than Hank and Hank wrote the songs. They had a respect for one another. Music changes. I still hate Rap and the rock and roll I grew up with is now called country and western. Kid Rock is not a monster he just likes music and is a hell raiser. He is made up of the same metal as the outlaw country performers. I don't think he cares about the hate and disrespect he would see here.

I love them all, it would be the greatest thing of all time for me is just to be given a chance to have a great artist \ singer listen to a few of the song's I have written over the past 36 years. I am a good 12 string guitarist but a better writer that never perused my music and never quit I raised my children and I am still playing proud. I am 51 years old now but I still believe in the song's I wrote.
