- On this episode of Chef's Night Out we head out for the evening with The Four Horsemen, a restaurant and wine bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Chef Nick Curtola embarks on a meat filled evening with a few of his good friends. The night begins at Momofuku Ssäm Bar with snacks, raw bar, and a large format brisket dinner, then on to Franny's for pizza, and finally ends at Achilles Heel in Greenpoint with a lambs head and steak. The crew then heads back to The Four Horseman for lambs tacos with a variety of middle eastern condiments and lots of wine.

I really like this chef's night out compared to others because these guys were really going for the food rather than just being abrupt and drunk and they described everything really well and showed some really cool spots
That DJ in achilles heel... hipster lvl. 1000.
+AlbanZap he got the moves tho
+AlbanZap He's spinning there for a sandwich and drink tickets.
he is a shitter dancer than drake!
+Fraser McIntyre shitter
AlbanZap so unbelievably cringy
That DJ with that awkward vibe body move thing tho @ 9:54 😂😂😂
White men cannot dance Bruh.
Came here to say that
Same here. That was one of the whitest dudes I've seen in a long time. I wonder what the music was like.
+Thonss 😂
😂😂😂😂 creepiest dude to ever where an orange sweater
Damn he was on point with that whole tapered sweat pants and vaping thing..
+OGsid Vape Nash
these guys seemed likeable and the focus was on the food not alcohol, which is always fun. great episode!
Nick Curtola seems like a very good guy. Good to see an episode where the talented chefs are humble guys comfortable in their zones. Nice episode.
+Billy H. The problem is that these guys actually know nothing about nothing. Michelin stars my ass... Toss these morons in a real kitchen (larger than the kitchen in my apartment!) and they wouldn't even succeed at blanching spinach.
This was a great episode. Chefs seems lovely, and the food looked SOOO GOOD.
You know when you can taste the food you're watching and it's so good? Yeah, I got that.
Simple isn't boring; it's achieving perfection.
So glad i ate before watching this. #Munchies you always deliver quality episodes. Thanks again for all your hard work.
Man, best thing is watching these clips right before dinner!
that DJ is literally sliding into those DM's
Ssam Bar is nothing new, but it never disappoints. Love that place.
HAHAHAHA that dj 😂😂😂😂 also the chef at Achilles heel just blatantly licked his fingers and kept cooking
Pretty much all chefs do that, when you cook at that temperature, all bateria dies instantly.
9:54 Jason Sudeikis is now a DJ at Achilles Heel.
That DJ at the last spot, OFF THE CHAIN.
These episodes where the chefs don't rage are depressing.
That DJ
I actually enjoyed this episode. They seem like a bunch of chill guys.
The food at the end looked amazing!!!!
4:38 "It's really simple, but a lot of flavor, a lot of technique and a lot of time."
He said "greatest inventions in history" like 20 times
Why so much hate? Nick seems like a good, humble dude.
I can't tell any of these damn hipster chefs apart.
Shan Devin
no.
Tony Nguyen calm down, girl. Being called a hipster isn't the end of the world! You can run a restaurant, be "innovative", and love what you do... and still be a fucking hipster. I would definitely eat this guy's food and probably enjoy it! But have you ever been to Brooklyn? It's a sea of dudes JUST like this doing the same shit with the same vision. They're a dime a dozen. It also happens that a lot of them look alike! Know why? BECAUSE THEY'RE FUCKIN' HIPSTERS! /endrant
Oh, and since you want to come for my gig- I'm a 25 year old software engineer and web admin for several companies and I love what I do. So you can fuck riiiight off!
***** lol I wouldn't say that... I guess they're a step up from Donald Trump at least!
Are you talking about Aporia or the guy in this show? Cos this guy is doing something on his own and hes doing something that he loves, so if ur talking about this guy ur statement is completely irrelevant
The food looked soooo good!!!
8:23 - love that t-shirt... and the pizza looks good too.
Nick Curtola seems like a really genuine, grounded guy; like that thin layer of reservedness which only serves to veil this unshakable passion that's more dense than fucking depleted uranium.
He gives off the vibe of someone I would fucking love to sit down with and have a quiet drink, listen to him talk about that unmovable zeal. He's not the life of the party and doesn't pretend to be. Great content, great subject.
just say you would fuck him
I connect with chefs on a visceral level
nape naysh y'all
+Sean McDonagh hope they left a real good tip at these places, papa's in the house after all.
Damn those hams on that wood block looked incredibly good for something so simple of just meat and salt lol.
I want an episode of Munchies where the chefs go out to Burger King, KFC, and then come back to the restaurant and order Domino's
Chef's night out is the best show Munchies do.
This amazing restaurant got their first star⭐️
finally a night chefs out where the people don't desperately try to be as cool as possible and get drunk for the sake of it. they look hipster just like the rest, but they actually focus on the food, seem down to earth and likeable. why can't they all be more like that.
The potatoes here were literally life changing.
damn, that brisket looked amazing
Excellent episode. Lambtastic.
One of my favorite shows on youtube! BRING THE HUANG'S WORLD FULL EPISODES TO CZcams PLEASE!!!! :)
That DJ dancing 😂
James Murphy's restaurant!
DID YOU KNOW? Achilles' Heel is open exclusively on Sundays.

THE DJ
that one guy looks like a completely disorientated wasted pablo escobar
Sick Dj moves bruh. How big are your \/ape clouds? #TeamThunderCloud
Dave Chang talks about that dish in another video I can't remember right now.
The only four horsemen are of the apocalypse!
And it always end with some kind of tortilla/taco :)
All that good looking food and i'm here eating hot cheetos lol
Does anyone remember the munchies with the Spanish speaking female chef with the dope apartment?
Max looks like RIP Trippers :D
That Nick Curtola sounds like Napoleon Dynamite.. Gosh...
that dj... LOL
clicked on the video expecting the four horsemen from "now you see me"

EVERYTHING THEY'VE BUILT WILL FALL !!!
The woman at 0:29 was gorgeous.
Who the fuck cuts their pizza with scissors? Smh
+Al D Asians like me
+Al D Who the fuck cuts a pizza? Smh
Old Italians, yes it's true.
+Matthew G ..........bummer
9:22 did he just lick his fingers then wipe them on the rag?
I hate crowded places where you can't even heard yourself talk let alone enjoy a nice meal.
VN
Did someone say Vape? V/\
NINTHH
Stop complaining about the so called Hipsters. Without them, Gastronomy wouldn't be where it is now.
LOL DJ BBQ???!!??!?!?
+Taras Selekoglu I said the same thing! Haha
I gained 10 kg since I started watching this show.
51 seconds in I fell in love with Nick's cook SD (a.k.a man bun cutie) and just when I thought all hope was lost, we basically got married when he shrugged his eyebrows at 10:31 ;)
Why is Edward Snowden narrating this chefs night out
+jesse meeks If you look away from the screen you can hear Napoleon Dynamite call Tina a fat lard.
+Rick Astley I hear it dude lol
This aint ric flair n dem 😔,,,😂😂😂
I really wanted to punch that DJ at the small bar.
chopping plants & tossing them in oil isnt a salad
Here's the solution to an otherwise uninsipring meal: serve a massive bowl of brisket and your guests are sure to leave as ignorant as they arrived.
I am kind of weirded out about how they use scissors to cut the pizza is this common in the states?
That was my first time seeing it.
Never before seen in my life. It's weird af.
Not common anymore but old Italians used to do it.
When did it become required to have full sleeve tattoos to be a chef?
+thezionsoho in prison?
It's not, Munchies selects chefs from a non-representative sample so it's to be expected that their promoted chefs resemble a certain 'look' and caliber that the show is going for.
+J Ma nope. if you live in a decently sized city and you go into a hip and modern restaurant or coffee shop you will find at least one person with sleeve tattoos at least 90% of the time
I'm from barcelona, spain, and that charcutery made me laugh. You can buy better hams in a gas station here.
Same with the other cured charcutery of the video. The guy say sobrasada and I don't see any in there. That look like different types of longaniza, maybe one is a "longaniza de sobrasada" but doesn't look like since sobrasada should look more orange.
Sobrasada is originary of balearic islands, here in spain. And it is like a creamy slow-curted sausage that you can spread over a bread. It tastes amazing.
Althought I am gealous of the young talent you show in this videos. I wish I can find that here. And that pizzas....
+Carles Duran congrats man, that was very educational!!! thanks dude!!!!!
charcuterie**
that dj .....wat tha fuck.......
sussman kinda sus
jesus fucking christ people love to complain don't they! It's not Munchies fault that the people who run restaurants are what you would class as "hipsters". At the end of the day, if you don't like it, then don't watch it!
Can't wait for the hipsters to start spending money again . I have wine that has been transported never using a motor of any kind . don't worry about the price just have a good time I'll make it happen .
Being a 24 year old, I love how New York is cleaner and progressive
But a small part of me misses when New York was like "New Jack City" cocaine dealers on the corner and prostitutes for all....a simpler time *sigh*
+String Bean lol you are not old enough to had experience the old grittier NYC
Lol I know but still though... Nothing like a good stabbing in the middle of Times Square to get the blood flowing....
String Bean Lol or buying some crack in Harlem or getting mugged at the subway
They sure don't make crack like they used to....gluten free crack just isn't cutting it these days
#VAPENATION Y'ALL!
this money monster add kills me -.- i fucking hate that trailer :D
Anyone else disappointed that Ric Flair isn't in this video?
Very.
was a cool show but what the fuck was that dj doing
that fuking dj in the oj.... sort it out
+vitamenwater91 I loled at that fuckin DJ.
oh come on, guys. they're not some typical drunk-asshead-hipsters. they actually talk about the food. try to watch the video before you judge something.
