    I heard that turbo air relief valve there at the end when you let off the gas

    Use it Sparingly, these gears and that rear axel eats through fluid like a thirsty camel.

    Is that 4x4 supposed to sound my doez the same noise but i was worried something was wrong with it or something was worn out since ive never owned a 4x4 before

      The noise in the beginning you’re hearing is the truck trying to “push” through the brakes. While not good for the truck it isn’t going to hurt anything either. The noise at the end is the stock blow off valve venting to the atmosphere of which I’ve since reversed due to boost leak at higher psi.

      @@AD-dw6cb I feel ya. I had boost being released and ended up going with a fully mechanical bov... it does exactly what I tell it now and hold boost great. She's hauling ass man

      just be careful turning while in 4wd, being all locked up causes shit to bind and grenade. slight turns or dirt roads are fine but dry cement will blow up your transfer case

    How’s the reliability been? I’m looking into a 2015 with the 3.5 but keep hearing horror stories about timing chain stretch and failure.

      75K mi zero issues. Ran it pretty hard on MPT’s 93 PRX tune for about 50K mi. Have been on MPT 87 PERF/ECON for past year or so and don’t think I’ll go back to a 93 “race” tune - plenty power on 87.

      That said, I would certainly have the truck inspected top to bottom and would NOT buy an ecoboost that has been tuned in any capacity. If you do go through with purchase order a catch can for it asap.

      @@AD-dw6cb The truck I’m looking at hasn’t been tuned as far as I know. It just has an aftermarket exhaust and headlights. It’s got 130,000 miles on it. I’d get it looked over before purchasing 100%

    Do you have a Bov?

    Is there a difference in doing this in AWD as opposed to 4WD?

    • @2jz954
      @2jz954 Před rokem

      AWD and 4WD is the same thing. All wheel drive and 4 wheel drive. All as in ALL 4 Tires | 4 Wheel drive as in ALL 4 tires.

      @@2jz954 Well, I only ask because the knob gives you two options. There's AWD, 4H, and 4L.

      @@trenttrammell3620 Ahh ok so awd is just your normal driving 4 high and 4 low are off road use

    • @Jaimeleon20
      @Jaimeleon20 Před rokem +1

      @@2jz954 they are not the same thing. They are similar concepts but different applications.
      4WD means it’s a option you can select in your vehicle. is found in pickup trucks and SUVs that are capable of off road driving.
      AWD can be found in any sedan/coupe/ smaller size suvs and they stay AWD, can’t switch it to anything else.
      In your case you have 4A which means 4 Auto.
      I have a 2022 platinum and it has 2WD, 4A, 4Hi , 4 LO
      Ther are the only drive selects in your truck.
      For a launch I recommend 4A.
