- Hope and Jeb are tourists visiting Ephesus, Turkey, but they encounter a major bump in the road when they are left behind by their tour bus. Hope’s belongings are on the bus, including her purse, phone and passport, and Jeb isn’t much better off. Both have to work together to get back to Istanbul and on with their lives, but it’s slow going traveling without money or means. Jeb is in a rush to return to the United States to save his job, which he recently learned is in peril, while Hope finds the unexpected journey a way to remember her mother, who passed away months ago. Their path back is filled with beautiful sites and challenging obstacles, but the greatest outcome of it all is the friendship and love they find in each other.

I can’t even imagine someone traveling to Istanbul for business and for nothing else! I worked there as a teacher when I was in my thirties and fell in love with the country, the history, and most importantly, with the people. I have spent full summers there for years, traveling around (alone) and getting to see the wonders as well as the hospitality of the Turks. Never had a problem because I respected their culture and religion and dressed accordingly. Love, love, love Turkeye. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I believe Turkey was the star of this movie. I've never met anyone who visited Turkey who didn't love it and its hospitality, including me. No visitor would truly be stranded this way or be given scraps if they asked for help there.
Sat down to watch a romantic film and was delightfully surprised to see my beautiful city, Izmir. Honestly, if a couple tourists lost their belongings and had no place to stay, any Turkish family would be happy to open their homes..

Outra coisa mal feita nesse filme 🎞️🎥: na Turquia, mesmo sendo turista,uma mulher jamais usaria em público,uma roupa que deixa os braços à mostra,os homens não a olharia com bons olhos e seria um risco se a mulher estiver sozinha. No mínimo usaria uma roupa que deixasse apenas o antebraço de fora. Mas é apenas um filme, a realidade é outra coisa.

I used to watch a lot of Turkish movies and serials, and wished that someday I could visit that beautiful country. This movie shows the lovely, picturesque countryside and many tourist spots. I just loved that. But it's a little puzzling how you can get stranded in a country and not find a way out. I suppose it's a willing suspension of disbelief. Anyway, I enjoyed the movie.
When they are lost, why didn't it occur to them that they could call her phone that she left in the bus? Someone in the bus could have answered if they could hear the ringtone right?
And the driver knew he was leaving them behind...
Am watching bcos of the beauty of the country. These 2 are so naive if at all such a thing can really happen. Its so easy to contact the US Embassy by requesting to use a phone. They could send an email to several places, e.g. his hotel, his employer, the embassy, the tour company if he had asked for the name, etc etc.
I love the way they make these kind of movie. I feel something energetic

This was a very good movie. But things happens and sometimes unexpected but who leaves important documents like passport or wallet or purse and phone on a bus..Specially if you are in an other country you need to have all this on hand and of course be very careful not to loose it. They were lucky they had a chance to do what they did to survive. Loved the scenery they were all beautiful. Good for my bucket list.

The story line is so cliche but the scenic beauty of Turkey is amazing.

Wow, almost the same thing happened to me in Turkey years ago!!! I was left behind by a bus at a bus stop between cities, with all my belongings being on a bus!!! And no one at the station spoke a word of English!
Happened to me too! Although I had a fannypack on with wallet and passport. I had sunstroke and passed out at a rest stop. Slept in a park and caught a bus back the next day. People were kind and shared food and drink. Bus company held onto my stuff.

Not just a movie but real life too. People lose their stuff all the time when they travel specially out of the countries. Never be to careful about your passport, your bags, your money or credit cards. You suppose to let your bank know first before your travel out of the country.
