You are welcome 🙏🏼 You can check Isha Life store online, there are few jute bags available, not the ones you get outside. Same cotton/jute bags will be available at store within ashram

I plan to go to Sadhanapada 2023 and I want to know do the participants have free time? For reading books for example. And how many participants are there each year? Does everyone that try to go and is suitable get accepted or is there a limited amount?

Glad to know you are planning for 2023 SDP.
1. The program is quite intensive and your free time depends on your seva and sadhana schedule. You wont be able to prepare/study for anything else.
2. Suitable applicants do get selected and the count of intake varies every year.

Not required, you can try to utilise the one in shared capacity and see if that works out
Hi, I’m thinking of taking one large trolley as I don’t have a medium size bag and a laptop backpack.. do you think it’ll be too much?

Hi! Large trolley should be good if you don't have a laptop bag👍🏻you might need a smaller bag/backpack to carry clothes for 3-5day advanced programs which you can purchase in later months depending on if you choose to the program
Akka is beddings such as bedsheet, blanket and pillow available to buy at Isha? Thank you
You can carry a light bedsheet & blanket with you. You could also purchase additional from amazon once you reach and get adjusted to the weather. Korpai mattresses were only provided to us by SDP team, we had to purchase the rest online. It was Not available at Isha store during 2021-22, things might be different when you do the program. You could ask the sdp team after confirmation 🙏🏼

You won't have time to iron 😂. On festivals the queue is long to iron

Mosquito repellent cream/spray is sufficient. Depending on the situation, if needed you can purchase Mosquito net online(Amazon) when in ashram.

Within the ashram do we use mobile phone to communicate with other volunteers and did you had to take a local SIM card..? Thanks 🙏🏼 🙂

should we bring large or medium sized trolley? How much locker space will be given for each Sadhanapada participant
Namaskaram,
Trolleys/bags are usually kept next to the cot or under it. Its best if you can bring luggage that you are comfortable moving on your own. There will be programs for which you might have to stay in program hall for few days, in that case small trolleys comes handy.
medium trolley and additional small trolley or bag would be good option however large trolley is also fine depending on your needs.
Locker space is for clothes and daily needs. You can see visuals of the room on isha.sadhanapada posts/videos on instagram to get an idea.

I eat 2 small meals per day: 90% green lettuce salads, raw nuts, 10% cooked veggies, occasionally yogurt, cheese, and berries.
Grains/starchy foods cause upset stomach. Is this compatible with the isha diet?

Akka what’s the name tag? How to use it??
Anna, name tag is just a marker that you can add to your bag with your name. So that you can easily identify your bag. You can put a sticker/label/anything to identify. Thats all

Good question - I forgot to mention this in the video - You can use a fabric marker/ marker of any sort to write your name down on your clothes. Its very easy to get clothes mixed up/misplaced as everyone will be wearing colored clothes.

@@prateek2755 what I did is I always put all my clothes on one section of drying lines so they don't get mixed up. Usually can use colored clips that use use to hang clothes so that people know it's your clothes. Anyway you will still misplace clothes and you'll be fine with it no big deal 😁
