  • In today's episode, I am playing against brand new patron Falk from Spain. He is bringing a Berserk heavy red/green aggro deck to the table. I am battling his mtg 93/94 deck with an army of Trolls and a very explosive disk!

I wonder why he doesn't give forestwalk to will o the wisp or the rukh egg? Instead giving it to the troll or the rukh token.

Sedge Troll with Immolation isn't bad either. 5/1 regen, gotta luv it!
    Thanks for great content=)

Hello Tim, I'm new to your channel. Amazing matches! I wonder if the players are using proxies. Most of decks were a dream back in the day! Greetings from Argentina!

They are probably real cards. Tim doesn't use proxies on his channel often. Some of the decks are worth more than my house. 😂

Yes, I'm not a fan of proxies, but to each their own of course. When a game has proxy cards in it, I usually mention it at the start of the video and/or it's in the video description.

9:34 -- That false beard is pretty convincing. I took him for an actual wizard until he hit me upside the head with his club.
10:21 -- A less convincing wizard than the first.

Hey Timmy, do you have any Wyvern-backed Fallen Empire cards? I had a few back in the day as a novelty, but traded them away eventually. Who would've known they'd be selling at Power 9 prices these days? Akin to Summer Magic cards in pricing.

Unfortunately I don't. Would love to own one to add to my FE collection.

I think Falk needs some Fissures in the sideboard. Good to get rid of those regenerators and the pesky Mazes and Factories.

Hammerhead and ehrnam sounds like a forgotten combo

Disco troll is probably a bad matchup for Falk's R/G deck. Probably rather be facing Seredibs and Su-chi than an army of regenerating trolls.

Would Sinkhole not be better than Stone Rain?

Good question, all cards in the deck are single R or single B in their casting cost. The idea is that it makes the deck more consistent and that it's also easier to keep the right mana open for regeneration.
