This phone is amazing and perfect for me. Don't always go for the best phone go for a phone that suits your needs.
It would be perfect for me if it has the dex mode :(. For me it's like 95% perfect hahaha, i only miss the dex mode.

I get your points, and you do have to mention the negatives. But I don't really think the 60Hz refresh rate screen and the exynos are real that negative. Nobody cares that much about refresh rates because you probably won't even notice the diference, and the exynos isn't as good as a snapdragon but it was a flagship processor also used on the note 9 so its not really a negative for the price of this phone. I came from an S7 edge with the exynos variant and I used it for 4 long years where I had no complaints with the speed 90% of the time...I've already got the note 10 lite for 399€ it arrived 2 days ago and I'm loving this phones it's great, the screen, the smoothness, the battery , the super fast charging, the s pen... (i haven't taken many pictures so I can't talk about the camera) but no complaints whatsoever for now. To those of you thinking about buying this, just go for it, you won't regret it, its great great value, even for a little more than what I paid.

I have this phone since February and no complaints here either. Very good value for what you get. However I have to disagree with your statement that nobody cares about refresh rates. I tried the newer phones in the store and the difference is immediately noticable even as you scroll through the settings. Mix that experience with the fact that most tech youtubers are praising it.. yeah. Still, I dont mind a 60Hz on my daily driver because that way I dont get spoiled by high refresh rates when I have to turn it down to 60 once in a while haha.

The frame is metal and the back is plastic. I'd take a plastic back and metal frame any day over a glass back and prastic frame like the OnePlus nord.

@@MostlyLost It's just the trend. Ever since iPhone 4, people have been regarding glass back as 'premium'. Metal back used to be an option but until pixel 5 came out, a metal back hinders wireless charging.
@@MostlyLost I've owned 3 note devices but never used wireless charging since fast charging thru USB existed. Marketing team definitely needs some features to brag about though.
@@MostlyLost When it first came out though, most phones had like 5v1a chargers even when changing wired, so the charging speed ain't affected. I like the idea of charging on my desk, and Samsung had been giving people free wireless charging pads with purchase. I got 2 free wireless chargers purchasing note 5.
Also, Android phones generally had a less premium build compared to iPhone until sy came out.

I have always gravitated to the "flagship" devices but grew tired of paying those prices, and not really taxing the device at all. I found the Note10 Lite on eBay for under $400 (new in box) and purchased it. I have been very happy so far. With the 8GB of RAM, expandable storage, Note features, and very nice screen it has worked well for me.
Just subscribed a few days ago, and already love you videos. They are high quality and very entertaining to watch.
This helps me a lot on my phone decision. In this part of the world we cannot dish out thousands of dollars for a phone which are 3 times the salary. Keep up the good work.

It's a very good phone and you'll be more than happy with it. I've done my own camera comparison against the iphone 11 (no telephoto lense comparison) and the Note 20 Ultra and I've been impressed and happy with the results.
Also it was released with Android 10 o you will still recieve 3 major software updates!!!

Coming from a S7 with over 1384 charge cycles, which has served me well for over 3 years but now starts to need charges twice a day...
Note 10 lite was on sale for 339€
Hope it arrives early 2021.
It did arrive on december 31st and I am quite pleased with it!
One bummer though and maybe interesting for potential buyers - ONLY the main lens does 4k60.
The ultra-wide does NOT and the telephoto doesn't do it either.
Ultrawide will only do 1080p 30 or 4k 30 but not 60fps.
Telephoto does 1080p 60 but 4k30.
Sooo, when you film in 1080p 60 it will let you zoom in 2x optical but not out to 0.5x on ultrawide.
When you start filiming 4k60 you can zoom in 2x or 4x but it will be ALL digital.
If you start out with the 2x telephoto and switch to 4k 60 it will change to the main lens.
It is not the total deal-breaker just would have been nice to know about it earlier...
It is impressive and cool that you can chance between 3 lenses WHILE recording 4k30 just unfortunate it does not do that in 4k60 - that would have been super sweet!
Yeah - anyways wireless transfer of all my files via smart switch to the new phone went fine, so I will take some time getting used to the new aspect ratio of the screen.
@@kniefi yeah Note phones are mostly ment for work or buisness. I also own one i use it to make art in Ibis paint. And because that its targeted as a buissnes phone the camera is not really the main thing for the phone. I say the camera is good (for me atleast) because i don't take pictures a lot. I have been a loyal Samsung user for quite for some time now. Bought this Note 10 Lite in the super limited Aura red color unit back in January 2021 to replace by older Galaxy J7 Pro which had ghosting issues when the phone heats up. This is my very first Note device. To start with, this phone is mostly a very nice phone to have despite the outdated Exynos chipset and not having the best screen refresh rate. Like me I am a regular user therefore not into gaming and other resource intensive stuffs, so this phone is definitely doing good for me. The only thing I am not so happy about is the Battery Life which only lasts me about 1 day in heavy use. My older Galaxy J7 pro although had much lesser battery capacity lasted me more than a day in heavy usage. So I have to charge this phone immediate after heavy use otherwise it becomes dead and ruins my productivity sometimes. Another thing that I am not so happy with is the single speaker setup. It has single firing speaker which is not loud enough therefore don't expect much in this regards. I used iPhone 7 Plus briefly before getting this Note 10 Lite in which the former had very good stereo speaker setup which could also be the reason why I am not happy with the single speaker in this Note. Aside from aforementioned two issues, i'm generally happy with my purchase of Note 10 Lite.
If you care about a headphone jack and spen, this is the phone for you. If doesn't makes any difference for you these features, may consider S10 lite or A71
I am currently using the N10L. Its perfect for me. I take down notes at work on the go .. i draw sometimes.. it takes amazing pictures.. but i found the white balance of pics from front camera is a bit off. Actually this phone doesn't have a competition.. if you need a phone with an Spen in this price range this is the only phone.

Here's almost a no-brainer as the best middle range phone of 2020, since Samsung release price was astonishing 745 usd back in February and we can usually find it for 370 right now. I'm waiting for some black Friday sales and if I can get a regular note 10 for 450 usd (it's currently 540),otherwise I'll get the lite version.

The best specs ever for the price offered. I bought Note 10 Lite in January 2021. I am fond with some traditional specs ( like audio jack and flat screen ) and with some modern specs too ( S Pen and great videos too).
Im a bit confused this phone has the same processor with the note 9 right then this lite will be updated to android 11 so why the note 9 will not? Just because nite 9 was released few years ago? If that the reason i think its not fair

I got it since August and I can't complain about anything yet, it feels great, it's fast and it's all that I need. I don't know if it's the best phone for everyone, but it's definitely the best for me!

I’m a little confused as to Samsung’s decision to have a headphone jack (when most manufacturers are doing away with it) and choose not to use stereo speakers. Just doesn’t make sense to me.

Actually i don't have a problem with overheating (and i live in Malaysia hot country here) unless i on the mobile hotspot. Other than that, i don't use it for gaming, so not sure if that will over heat the phone.

I visited samsung center and played the demo phone, and from what I noticed from the Display is the A71 is more vibrant and obviously no where near to the S20 series. I find the Note 10 lite screen brightness is not as bright than the A71 & S20 series plus the color is a bit dull compare the two series I mentioned

I wish that the Note 10 Lite has a successor, which is the Note 20 Lite. Unlike the other Note 20 series, the Note 20 Lite should be powered by the Exynos 1080 for the Exynos region, not the Exynos 990.
From what I heard, the Note 10 Lite is the better deal and alternative to any of the current Note 20 series, and the Exynos 980 did not suffer any problems unlike the Exynos 990.

Don’t really understand why you would even compare the Note 10 Lite to a Note 20. It wasn’t created as a Lite version of the 20. You mention the 60mhz refresh rare as a drawback, of course it would be when compared to the upgraded 120 MHz of Note 20, but 60MHZ is the refresh rate of the two comparable phones in the Note 10 Series.

what would you suggest i do for this phone data connection to work. i tried most troubleshooting steps but still slow.
Tmobile? Mine was the same. Usually when i get a new phone, i pop in the sim and its good to go. This time it was different. It definitely did not feel like 4g.
If you do have tmobile
Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > ACCESS POINT NAMES
You want the list to be empty. If its not empty, you must remove access point names one by one. Tap one of the access point names. At the top right, there should be three dots to represent options. Tap delete APN.
When your list is clear, tap add to add an APN.
You can google “T-Mobile APN” to find the settings. Make sure you fill out all the necessary options. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, you want to absolutely make sure you fill out APN and MMSC

I've been using this phone for about 2 months now and here are some of the pros and cons
Pros:
- Cheap(Considering you had to spend at least 1000$ to get the Spen on a phone before)
- Headphone Jack
- Good battery life (8-9 hours S0T no games, mostly HD video streaming and apps used by most people)
- Plastic back if you don't care about the feel, it is shatterproof
Cons:
- 60Hz refresh rate
- Average fingerprint sensor, unusable face scanner
- No waterproof
- No DeX support
- Plastic back if you care about the feel of the phone
have friends who own s10, 20, note 20 ultra with samsung dex being included in their phone is just a gimmicky feature. I dont think they even know they can use their phone like a computer when plugged with a hdmi connector to monitor
think dex is more useful on samsung tablets but its always nice to have it on phones even though there arent many making use of it right now

This Note 10 Lite has the specs of Note 10, Note 9 and A51. If this Note 10 lite was released with this specs, then the Note 20 lite would be the advance one but it would still have the Plastic back, still 6.7 Infinite O-display, and it looks half of Note 20, Note 10, and Note 10 lite.

If you want a S Pen, go for Note 10 Lite. Or else go for FE, because everything in FE is waaaaay much better than Note 10 Lite. I own a Note 10 Lite and the battery drain is crazy.

Considering how minimal the price difference is between the A51 and this, the Note 10 lite makes the A51 seem like a pointless buy. Especially since it has an S-pen and 60fps video recording (something which the A series lacks, weirdly.)

Nice. If I were to go back from a pixel 4 xl . I whould get the note 20 ulta . The reason why is the glass back makes it look more high end. The only thing I don't like about Samsung phones is how much blotware is on it.. Also who do think is going to win the Stanley cup this year?

Being a baisc peasant i find note10 pretty perfect...headphone jack tick, stylus pen i wont loose tick, works with email netflix and book apps tick, samsung made tick :P i had to say good bye to my beloved note 4 and the only thing i dont quite like is that note10 is a bit slimmer width wise.
