    Namaste everyone 🙏
Today I’am making Kinema ko tarkari (Fermented soybeans Curry)which is ethic food of Rai’s and Limbu’s.
It is sticky, stinky pungent smell and unique fermented flavour.
The common word kinema is derived from “Kinamba”of the Limbu dialect in which’Ki’ means Fermentation and ‘Nambaa’ means Flavour. Thus it is assumed that the Kinema originated from Limbu communities, who reside in the eastern Himalayan region.
    Ingredients for this Recipe
    Fermented soybeans 300 grams
    1 big onion
    2 medium tomato’s
    2 inches ginger
    5 cloves garlic
    5 fresh chilli
    30 ml mustard oil
    1 Tbs chilli powder
    1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    Salt according to your taste
    Coriander leaves for garnish
