Good info brother. Just ordered my camber bolts today. 1 step closer.
Awesome buddy...exactly. ..1 step...
To move the 33s tires, did you modify the transfer gear set or your axle gears, or they are stock?
As of now they are stock. ..but we have plans to upgrade and re gear...
I finally got it today! I had to slot it all the way back. The knuckle is pressed against the strut! So that's as far as it's gna go and the tires are straight up and down. Idk why it took that much. I looked everything over good and didn't see any outa place. I got another question for ya. I seen the video of were ur gna cab in that geo ur building. I been wanting to do that for a while now. I seen one on CZcams that used the back door of a 4 door tin top and I seen that u are gna do that. I'm thinking about ordering one on ebay but wanted to make sure what year would be the best or if it matters? I have the 92 tracker. The video I seen looks like them back doors fill that space up pretty good!
The one I'm using I believe is a 94...I think...I'm not positive tho
I have an 08 Vitara and I want to do an OME 4” suspension lift with a 2” body lift do you think it will be pretty straight forward or am I going to have to extend everything underneath? Is the OME a good kit ? Do you think 33’s would fit without rubbing? Add me on Facebook I’d like to talk to you more about this
08 is actually out of my league. ..I've never had one and I'm sure there are things that go along with those lifts that I would be unsure of...but with a 4+2" lift I'm sure you could run 33s...
I just picked up a 93 with a 2 inch body lift and a 2 inch coil springs longer than stock. I have 10inch wide wheels an any size of tires from 235 up to 35s will 33s work with my set up ? An with out any cutting? An iv got 12 an 14 inch wide wheels also. What would you do if you were me ? I'm in northeast Michigan we have 3 seasons summer fall winter an fall again. Cold cold muddy wet springs .
I actually used to live near you but on the Canadian side...so I'm familiar with the area...lol...cold...lol...but for your question no you'll more than likely have to cut and trim...are they 33x10.5 or 33x12.5?...I run an 8" wide rim on a 33x12.5 for the rig in the video.. this would also depend on what type of negative offset your rims are...for your rims I'd go with a 12.5...10.5s don't really set into a 10" rim that well in my opinion...but each to their own type thing...
@@littlemancaveontheprairie4753 ok awesome iv have a set of fenders are ready cut I can switch them out. I used to live south of an my offset wheels are good an 33. 12.50 .I actually live 45 minutes south of the 45th pairlrlel about 45 to 60 miles west of Canada an im about 1mille from lake Huron I used to live south of Detroit an about a mile an 1/2 from Canada I could see people driving over there. I lived on a island in the Detroit River just north of lake eiry. Not to many trackers in my area an that are modified.
I do like your videos very practical keep making them.
@@michaeldionisi2407 well thank you very much...I really appreciate that...this Friday at noon ish I'm starting the "budget 4 door build"...it'll be on 31s...10.5s...8" rim...
I have a 92 geo tracker 4wd and i put the BDS coil springs on the front to level it out and i have 33 12.50s on it and my camber is bad! Top of the tire sticks way out so i tryed camber bolts and it didn't help it at all so yesterday i slotted the struts and when i lowerd the jack it set good so i backed it up and pulled forward a few time and got out and looked at them and they went back to leaning out. So idk what the deal is . I tighten the shit out of them to. Nothing is bent under the front. Anything else i need to do?
Hmmmmmm...maybe take it in for an alignment...if camber bolts and slotting doesn't do it something is definitely up...
Could my toe in affect the camber ? Cause I haven't messed with it any and it needs to be toe out quite a bit. But i figured I would fix the camber before messing with the toe. I'll mess with it today and see what happens. I appreciate it!
@user-qq5us2op7i are you sure the camber bolts are in correctly?...with the tabs pointing towards the engine?...I have a camber bolt video too if you want to have a boo at it...
Do 10 in 15 wheels with 30 tires and 2 inches lift will work on a tracker thanks
Not sure...I'm running an 8" rim on 33x12.5 wide...and I'd have to say that I think that 10" rims would be too wide...but I guess it depends on the look your going for too...with a 31 you'll usually using a 7" or 8"...a 31 is usually either 10.5" or 12.5" wide...just to give a reference...
@@littlemancaveontheprairie4753 thanks I decided to go with 31 federal courgian mt tires I'm going with the 10 in wheels old american racing and 2 in lift the reason is because I live in the middle of grapes fields and winter is sometimes is bad out here plus in any case I have chains but I saw one and look gd on 10 inch wheels plus mine is fair condition for the age plus I call the geo tracker a all seasons car jjj from mud woods and summer and winter compare to other cars or trucks I think the tracker is the best of all for the poor man gd on gas and easy to repair plus if I want to fly I will take out my other little baby call crx si gd on gas easy to repair and she can hold the street like a dope fin at knight looking for a 20 dollar bill 😁 thanks again take care out there I'm close to you upstate NY I can see canada from here amigo
I was going to ask you a ? Can I put 31s on a 8x16 wheels and 2 inch adapters with out the 2 in lift kit thanks
No you can't. ..I have a video out for the biggest tire...it's a 235/75/15...you'll rub on the frame with a 31...altho i also have a video on how you can fit a 31...but you have to remove some stuff from the fender...
@@littlemancaveontheprairie4753 ok but I can if I take a bit out the fenders then with 16x8 wheels and 2 inch wheels adapter
@@littlemancaveontheprairie4753 I'm looking for a nice bulky set up or I will be better with 31s 15s I don't want to much gaps between the tires and wheels arch
@@salvadorrivera6894 actually I'd leave the spacers out...the wider you go the more lift you need...
@@littlemancaveontheprairie4753 but they look soooo cool!
Hi i was going to ask you can i put 31s with a one in lift and 15x8 wheels and 2 or one and a half wheel spacers with the wheels 0 offsets thanks i think i can but i nd you opinion im only looking for that bulk on the geo and if i can wish one will be the shocks ti used becouse im going with a inch lift thanks have a great holiday with family and love ones
No they won't fit...sorry...
@@littlemancaveontheprairie4753 then i have to used 2 in lift mandatory for 31s on 15x8
Well you'd have to do some trimming and leave the spacers out of the equation but yes...you might have to adjust your bump stops so you don't rub on the frame...or just don't turn full crank...
@@littlemancaveontheprairie4753 .thanks i think i will go with 30s 9.50 weith with 1in lift for the bulk look and some flares if i have to 15x8 or 15x9 wheels and some adjustment on bumper etc really the geo tracker is a year around small truck like trails ice mud etc plus is cheap to maintaining and gd in gas right now im in doing a transmission transfer from automatic to standard i like standard a lot better and thanks for you help amigo
I was going to ask you for the shocks information from the corolla you talking about the front shocks or rear shocks from the 85 corolla for the geo tracker thanks
It would be for the rear...the front of a corolla has struts...
@@littlemancaveontheprairie4753 thanks amigo getting my tires today for the crawler
@@salrivera7578 awesome!!!...
@@littlemancaveontheprairie4753 amigo I when with Tensor mud tires 30x10 on 15 x 10 old 10 holes american racing wheels and they fit perfect no lift at all I shave bumper a little bit and pound in a little bit the inner fender the geo look tuff like hell like a pittbull muscle up jjj real nice ride on the street and highway hardly any sounds from tires is a eyes 👀 catcher females 💕 my crawler a lots and guys well I took everything out cut the soft top out and I built a bikini one with it look kool like hell I put to antennas in the rear like the eighteenth wheeler no long no short perfect for the look highlander way or Hill Billy way took back sit out rug everything maded old school everyone offer me a lots of money for it shit they are crazy jjjjj 😁 he is built like me la vida loca😁 light that kush up and let me hear the sound of beer open up and put the music valume up Rock and roll with CCR born on the byouuuuuuu yeah amigo I did it with 30s tires no lift thanks
@@littlemancaveontheprairie4753 amigo do you have any experience with KYB shocks and struts let me know because I'm thinking on getting some for the tracker thanks
I have a 96 tracker/vitara 5 door. Do 225/70R15 on stock rims fit whit out any modifying? I dont really want to lift it. Add me on Facebook and we can talk more spesific.
Yes they'll fit...you can go to a 235 /75/15 before you start rubbing ...
So, 2” suspension lift, some banging inside the well and I can fit 31’s no problem?
Well not exactly...you'll need some rims that are wide enough for a 31...and with the right offset so you don't rub frame at "full" crank
I have 95 geo tracker i have LT 285/70/16 tires That i wanna put on it 2" lift kit will work on it ??
I had 285/75/16 on here before the 33s...it'll work but you'll still need the other things I mentioned in the video...
Did you know a old style Ford big center hole works best
Anything that has a 5x5.5 bolt pattern with a 108mm center bore hole will work...old dodge, ford, international and some jeep will fit...
wont go down the highway with 30s why go bigger?
Why won't yours go down the hwy with 30s?...sounds like it's not running right if it won't turn 30s
Two inch spacers.
Negative offset wheels are much better and safer...going too wide puts a bigger front and rear swing to the tire as well...

I bought a tracker 2yrs ago. I do lots of hunting. These are cool little rigs. My buddies have those big ass Can Am side by sides. Can’t go where I can. Mine is basically stock. Lifted but I’m going to totally rig this thing out. I’m mechanically inclined but need help. I’ve watched your videos awesome. Thanks for the help.
I like that 33s set look bulky I'm buying a tracker this week and I think I'm going with the 33s it look nice really plus in reality is no tha much money involve compare to this New ones I'm old school give me a torche and a grinder and weld come reality we talking about metal here the rest is brand names but really anyone wants a real highlander the only thing that they all have to do is transfer the willy jeeps motor and everything else to a tracker is that simple tape measure weld cutting balancing etc low gears by weight ratio and torque real simple I think that will be the best set up for a geo tracker for mud rock climbing etc we call this junkyard poor man horse 🐴 then we will said bring them on grandpa is here jajaja
Did you get it?
Want to know how’s the power difference with 33”.
