This “Cooooming up” is like Doug Demuro’s “Thiiiiiisssss” - instantly puts smile on my face. Love it.
But Sreten isnt annoying like Doug
Its also like "Chriss Fix" and his "heyy guyss" 🤣
@@kaschbervomdienst9467 beat me to it lol
@@kaschbervomdienst9467 Doug sucks. He has zero mechanical knowledge compared to this guy.
@@thomas77597 They each have their own benefits.
In decades to come, whenever someone is wondering about an old BMW, they can go to Doug to see the car's quirks & features. But switch to Sreten for true in-depth knowledge of the workings.
The mechanic was just ahead of its time. Wireless connections in the engine bay would make things so much easier!
Yeah E60 Next
😂
Not great if you hear "*DING* connection lost with both throttle bodies" when you are overtaking and a car is approaching from the other direction... just saying.
@@srvtx6527 you guys should stop whining about that e60 allready
It's difficult to overstate how refreshing it is to watch and listen to people who actually know what they are talking about.
I couldn't agree more. He is a true pleasure to watch!
No crappy intro, no cringy stuff, just the video and a pro german mechanic.
This guy is a pro mechanic, but I am fairly certain he is not German, just Germany based.
Previous mechanic is currently having his German citizenship revoked...
Or having the German equivalent of his ASE certification revoked.
@@digitalrailroader I think that we all know that his crimes against this vehicle are too great for simply revoking his certification...
I heard he plays soccer now... the club is called Wankers United
The previous owner has gone to visit him to give HIM a tune up...
With a sledge hammer...
@@gosportjamie Sreten needs to give the previous “mechanic” a high five to the face with a folding chair.
Gotta love these swift weekly uploads, hearing you say "Coming up" means my day's gonna get better. ✌️
TopGear wink wink
I am as calm as an indian cow - Am using this everytime someone tells me to calm down from now on!
Today Cows are only thing in India that are calm and happy
I am a simple man. I see a notification from Sreten, I jump up saying YAAAAAY NEW EPISODE!
I just love this guys's sense of humour😂.
He's german, there's no such thing 😂😂😂
@@ifounburg He's actually from east Europe but lives in Germany.
@@3TimesFaster Any idea where exactly?
@@webbike He is Serbian
@@dindinbre No way... LOL If it's true, I shocked.
1 dislike from the previous mechanic haha
6 now. He created as many accounts as he could.
@@GBO76 Hahaha indeed
Far more interesting and entertaining than ANY car programme pumped out by the BBC: and they have a budget of over £4 BILLION!!!!!! 🤣
One of the nicest things about working on those particular engines is that you rarely have to worry about the fact that the coolant has been sitting for so long because the block is alusil and it doesn't matter how long the coolant sits, it won't rust in the block like the old iron block straight six engines do. Like, obviously replace the coolant anyway, it's very old, but it doesn't require nearly as thorough a flush compared to working on old iron block engines that have sat for a while.
m539 restorations continually roasting the old mechanic is my new favorite past time
Loving the increased frequency of uploads, Sreten! I just love how these E32's look, a V12 makes it even better.
What is his ful name?
22:44 “this makes me smile”
Not smiling one bit haha love it
"90% on the ground and 10% in the bucket" wiser words haven never been said before and that pretty much sums up 2020.
Honestly I was never really a fan of BMW but your channel and you bringing those beautiful cars back to live has done something to me. So much so that I purchased a 318i today, I know its not alot compared to most people their stuff but I'm still young and I'm proud of my car.
Welcome to the BMW family. You have to start somewhere!
👍👍👍
Have fun replacing the bushings on your multi-link suspension. That's the singular thing that would keep me from really wanting to own a BMW. The suspension may be excellent and capable of amazingly good suspension geometry, but it's so much more work to maintain compared to a common dual A-arm of double wishbone suspension. So many more bushings and grommets to go bad in 5-10 years time. But at least the driving experience in the meantime will be spectacular.
I said to myself "coming up" before the beginning of the video: D
Me too 😂👍
Awesome video! Somewhere in the world a lucky new-old BMW owner is watching the beginning of their car's thorough restoration.
Frankly...this is the only channel where i never skip the video.
“And this vacuum line has a wireless connection”😂😂😂
My girlfriend said it's relaxing to watch your videos, she has found you on the Instagram and followed you on it. And she normally hates that all the videos I'm only watching on CZcams are about cars. She's not into cars 1000%.
That says a lot about you man, great channel I have found and love every single video of yours. Love that 80's music tracks, the best ever!
Wish you lots of good luck 👍
Awesome to hear! Thank you :)
My dad had one of these E32s, but a 735i. He completely crashed it (going a tiiiiny bit too fast on a Dutch country road in an autumn storm), but he walked away with just a few bumps and bruises. Solid engineering and good safety features, that were way ahead of it's time back in the late 1980's. Dad died a few years ago, but I'm keeping the BMW tradition alive for him! 👍🏻 😇 Grüßen aus Rheinland Pfalz!
finally no unnecessary torque on every nut and bolt... you are progressing
When you are getting way way more views than subs you know your channel is going to be huge. One million subs by the end of the year no doubt.
Maybe if he increases his upload frequency
@@monkmodemalik8225 I think he is a one man crew. From what he has said he is doing this full time now and will do more videos.
There is absolutely no better feeling than waking up on a Sunday morning and seeing a new M539 video. Fresh coffee and the best entertainment, it's priceless
loved seeing the rear end rise @13:48 like it was sitting up after being in a coma
I drive Mercedes but love watching BMWs being repaired with passion and enthusiasm. This guy is legit and very informative. I miss my M5 and will get another but now I'm leaning towards building E30 M3. Cheers from Baltimore, here in the StateSide.
This car is from the time that design and engineering of BMWs still reflected their German heritage, not the supposed desires of Chinese and Middle Eastern bankers.
That only happened with this current leadership which only likes to appeal to those consumer groups. Before that, the said consumer groups was happy with the "take it or leave it" strategy.
Happiness levels rise to the max when you post !
I am an Audi guy and own one, but my heart fills up with joy seeing this beautiful machinery being brought back to life!
what a car and what a piece of engineering!
you are the best BMW channel that can exist for me of course
This shows how good BMWs are. Not even the most incompetent mechanic can ruin them. Or maybe they can...
Most of the time, all bolts and nuts are easy to remove without breaking, even in very old BMW's (spoken from over 40 years experience).
There is something in the design of the E32 and E34 that still makes me turn my head at them. Such a nice piece of art!
And when you hear the inline sixes....boy my knees bent :)
Beautiful cars. If you haven't driven one I seriously recommend you do.
@@macman6107 I had one E34 for 10 years. Haven't had better looking, sounding and driving car yet.
I hate BMW, but now, with you is BMW mechanic - I in love in this German engineering :) God bless you!
When the light and the wrench fell to the floor, and cursed, and being myself a BMW mechanic, I really felt it. Being a mechanic can sometimes be a really PITA
Should have installed the pulleys before installing the radiator. Live and learn. :)
Those rims are a perfect match. And overall car presence is still formidable even nowadays.
if this guy comes to north America he will be BILLONER No one can fix bmw like this guy
This dude workmanship and skill is amazing, definitely inspires every DIY guy or girl to be better , taught me how to do things the right way .
This should be mandatory watching for anyone reviving an old, unused car.
My Saturday night just got a whole lot better 😎 #HappyDays
Snapping that plastic clip... that reaction.. I feel like a bond between us has been formed.
I have never anxiously waited to watch any youtube videos like i do yours. You are really good narrator and very engaging.
l literally just finished watchin two of your recent videos, and now you just uploaded, best sunday ever ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
"90% on the floor, 10% in the bucket" lol
Why am I addicted to this channel?
How to start your sunday evening? 80s music , dry humor and a oldschool BMW. When the end of this restoration is near you should use that 80s music again with some yellow intro/outro credits like in the intro of "Derrick" ;)
BMWs, hell of a sense of humor and good editing. What's not to love?!
"As calm as an Indian Cow", I like it.
V12's are becoming 'classics'.
As a retired BMW master tech I can only wonder what else the previous "Mechanic" did wrong. Good for you that you go through the vital parts first and check or replace what had been "Kaputt Repariert". Great job as always on the video.
Guys she drives, awesome news.
Epic progress and loving this project.
Thumbs up
9:50 this one has a wireless connection! You killing me :D
You sir are a rare breed! Not many mechanics this through these days, even the BMW dealers. Enjoying your content from NC US.
Excellent again. You fix them like I do!
Whoever touched that car before didn't deserve to and with luck is not trying to be a mechanic anymore!
Hello from the USA. Recently subscribed because I really enjoy your videos and passion for restoring. Great to see that you take the proper steps to start one that’s been sitting for years. Refreshing from all the “will it start” videos. Stay warm! It’s look cold and wet where your at!
That's how 4 is shown in Germany on your hand. Okay thank you getting that right for me. Gonna be helpful when I can get to Germany after Covid isn't a thing.
That's a "no feeling left in the fingers because -3°C all day long" kinda 4! An "approximately 4", to be precise.😂
Said it before and I’ll say it again, “Best automotive channel on CZcams.”
Actual mechanic work and explanations without half-arsing.
Throw in great editing, a good sense of humor, and hilarious positive vibes and this exceeds every other channel.
Seriously great stuff and inspiring.
Sreten I bought an N54 35is Z4 for my wife, now you are making me think I need to buy an old v12 for myself, I luv this engine.... this is my favourite channel, watching the maestro... at work but with such good humour...
If you want a "nicer" engine and a car that you may still be able to purchase OEM components for, try to find a post-facelift (2005 or newer) E65/66 760i with the N73 engine. Compared to the M70 engine, you get DOHC, VVL and VVT on intake and exhaust from dual VANOS units per head, more power and torque, and a 6-speed automatic transmission standard. The only major downside is that the car itself will probably be more expensive upfront, the octane requirement is higher compared to the M70 in an E32 750i, and the retro car aesthetic is far worse.
This appeared exactly while I was cooking. Perfecto!
"Coooooming up" my review 😁
Gotta say, the visual with all 12 cyl is excellent.
as soon as I saw the typical "stupid eject button" cheap stereo, the obviously good "150psi-compression" engine, and the "nope"!, I knew this was a good episode coming up. You are doing what I want to do with the ever abundant e9X 335i's here.
EDIT: and I 200% approve of the new format of the more detailed nitty-gritty episodes that actually show you getting your knuckles scraped, no matter how slow the progress, to show that it actually DOES take time and work to make sure its done properly!
Come to Greece man, weather is very good, renting garage space is cheap, all the others awful!!!!
Oh yes, my favorite Show on CZcams! Keep up the good Work my Friend =)
I will always watch every one of your videos, despite never owning a BMW. I feel like I'm one of their biggest fans seeing how well they're built and how beautifully engineered they are.
I will own one of these masterpieces one day.
When my Audi A4 B6 Quattro dies!
Definitely the best channel on CZcams. You're way better than Wheeler Dealers (I do still enjoy that) and as enjoyable as Clarkson, May and the small one.
The E32 is just a beautiful to own, drive and even work on. I'd happily have another one.

Best channel on youtube. When a new video comes out, I pause whatever I'm doing to watch. Keep them coming!
Those wheels growing on anyone else?
No me neither.
Are they aftermarket wheels or did it come like that? I think Sreten mentioned one of his cars having aftermarkets, can't remember if it was this one. I must say, not keen...
@@petel9242 Yeah he said they're aftermarket wheels. I think it was due to being an uncommon tyre size on the OEM option.

Hi, Ricardo! What's that song? 🎵 "The rain in Spain... Falls mainly... on all the damn mud..." ;-)
I'm in the north of England, and our weather's lousy, too. Sigh. Let's stay indoors, drink coffee, eat chocolate biscuits, and enjoy watching M539 Restorations. Oh yeah!
Old BMWs gets me excited
That cold start was smoooooth.

So cold in Germany. Says part 4 and shows 5 fingers 😂 amazing joke
His humour is brilliant.
Wireless connection in Engine bay, that was really good. Thanks for another great video 😊
Ich hätte die Riemenrollen ausgewechselt, als der Kühler raus war! Wäre mehr Platz vorhanden! Danke für Deine Videos, ich sehe sie wirklich gern, da man selbst nichts tun muss....😂
The only BMW I’d daily, too bad I still need to make 6 figures to afford the maintenance costs 😂
“But all those mistakes were functional”. Nice.
This channel is the best car renovation channel.
I like this great knowledge of BMW cars. Great language "bastards" LOL
That motor sounds so healthy, it revs so strong and clean
Why you didn’t finish front of the engine before installing the radiator? It will be way easier
A tip I have learned with the rubber coolant hoses is to rub a little bit of grease in the inside. It does not leak and comes off easier if you need to remove it in future.
So happy the m5 will be getting some love!! Maybe a 40-60 minute special video to kick off the restoration? 😁😁
Thanks GOD to this Channel, lots of respect and admiration from me Terry in South Africa, so rewarding and because of this channel , i have now a E32 735 and e32 740 as my project, soon i will be as good as you buddy, thank you for your inspiration, and please never stop i have still a lot to learn from you .
Really wish this guy all the best. He screws with all these BMW Cars that we love but even hate. I have had quite a few BMW cars but have tired of their super bad cooling system and sometimes bad automatic transmissions. Admires his patience with all these mismanaged German fighter jets.
Not sure why this channel popped up in my recommendations.I just glad it did :-)
you sound like a free man bro...... brilliant video again.
please dont reduce the time of your videos, i dont mind to watch 40min of you and your godness love for restorarions!! keep going i love you
Just what i needed this morning!! I saw this on my home page and said out loud "commming up" as I clicked! Even though you are done with the twin to my E38 I still find all the videos fascinating!! Keep up the great work!!! Cant wait to see this one finished!
So glad to see this engine healthy!!!
Sunday morning Napa Valley california wake up with coffee and M539 releases video is released love this channel.
I LOVE watching these videos. I have no aspiration to own or work on a BMW (prefer my old Japanese stuff) but I just love the looks of the older BMW models and the exotic engines and I think it’s so fascinating to watch someone so passionate and knowledgeable work on these. Keep it up! Don’t know what I would do without these!
