You got to us the Jedi mind trick and the force to let out the rod
I put 15 lb braid on it which is the same diameter as 4 lb mono or Flouro It has great casting distance and I also put 12 lb fluoro liter on it and it works great.

I love my eagle claw telescoping, beore my dad gave it to me he put a Pfluger trion reel on it. Absolutely love it i recommend eagle claw telescoping

I bought just the 5'6" rod and paired it with a shimano sierra reel I bought new on FB Marketplace. Its a convenient little rod that I keep in my bookbag. I caught a lunker LMB on it the other day fishing for panfish, and I thought it was going to break, but it held up. Never bought an eagle claw rod before, always liked their panfish hooks though, the ones you can buy pre-tied at walmart. I grew up fishing those, I really like the convenience of telescoping rods, even though the feel is less than ideal. My great grandad bought me a telescoping combo as a kid for Christmas that I had til just a few years ago. The rod was decent, it just came with a junky reel.
Its great for stealth fishing. I snuck onto a super fancy golf course with it the other night and slayed some LMB. When I used to fish and either ride my bike or take public transportation, I kinda hated when people would wanna ask me about fishing spots because they see a folded up rod sticking out of my bag. I don't mind sharing info, but its annoying sometimes when homeless ppl use it as a way to start conversation and spange you lol.
Now I wanna get a 7 foot rod

Hi! I think this is really neat, but do the rod sections lock themselves when fully extended, or is it loose, and do you need to pull out each section once and a while?
🇺🇸 As you pull, it tightens in place. It takes a bit of effort to break it. You can feel the resistance. I haven't had to take it apart. It's been good so far. 🇺🇸

Kevin buckman I know the line on it is really strong it's pretty good eagle claw line I mean it's a decent line anyway as it is but I was sure they were going to put some junk line on it but hey I'm headed to a lake here in about an hour and I'll be making another video continuing the review so we'll see what we can catch over there new lake so see what happens thanks for your comment I appreciate it 🇺🇸 GONE FISHING 🇺🇸
How do I tie the string around the bail there isn’t a single video on explaining this nor instructions on the product. I’ve been searching for 2 weeks and can’t find a single video.
