Why is Intend from Germany not mentioned? They are very successful in making high end UPD forks a view years now. Maybe because it's there biggest competitor at this moment?

Well... And what about Bright Racing Shocks? They make USD forks with carbon uppers 😅

This entire conversation sort of points to why Cannodale made their 'fork' into a strut. By eliminating the stanchion alignment issues, you can make it from carbon much more easily. The Lefty SuperMax never got the love it deserved. Really, it should be revived by someone else with some modern manufacturing processes to see where it can go. I'd love a 150mm version of it.

Bicycles are easy, so anyone that wants to make 'em can. Doesn't mean anyone that wants to SHOULD.

While I appreciate their passion and desire to turn out a truly innovative product, I’m not sure how they’re gonna feel about their life decisions when they’re standing in front of a bankruptcy court judge trying to explain how they thought they could sustain a viable business selling $2600 bike parts to consumers who were already shellshocked by the idea of ‘forking’ over a grand for a similar product…..🤦‍♂️

For what it's worth, I had an RAC Marzocchi and whilst it was cool, it wasn't very good and was heavy. I've now got an X fusion Revel X which is both stiff and pretty light. Time has moved on from the upside downs of old. I just wish I could coil convert my Revels X's

They'll sell every single one that they can make. There's clearly a market for different and premium.

They'll only sell maybe 15 to 20 a year 🤪 in this economic market, they're not going to be around for longtime 🥴

There are way too much bolts on this fork. Intend integrated this type of design way better. We are back in 2004 with that axle clamping design.

The owner is so damn boring to listen to. Empty buzzwords and a shallow grasp of Engineering. 16 times the machining tolerance!
