#deeprockgalactic #deeprock #drg - Hry
The Hurricane at this point probably has the most transformative overclocks out of any weapon in the game.
Hurricane can be everything including being a minigun and autocannon
And most of them are also good, not just fun for a match or two and then never use the OC again, gotta love the hurricane
I think the skout's crossbow has more of them
@@frieds0ul270 I think what he meant is that the overclocks aren't just good stat wise but are also innovative, like changing the missiles to mines, or making the missiles not explode but instead phase through and do damage, or even make them lose the guidance but instead shower the enemies with explosions, all of those overclocks drastically change the weapon mechanics. For example, the bulldog has volatile bullets which is a great overclock, but it doesn't really change the weapon other than the stats, imagine if instead there was an overclock for the bulldog which the gunner could use a charge (like the new minigun overclock) to throw a mini barrel in the air and if the mini barrel is shot the round would split in 3 and ricochet to 3 different glyphids weak spots (Yes this is straight out of ultrakill), the boltshark has overclocks that change the mechanic a bit (trifork volley and firebolts come to mind) but not to the level of the hurricane
@@stan5890 That's exactly what I'm talking about. So many of the Hurricane's overclocks completely change how it works and it's awesome.
Most versatile OC pool in the game. You can turn the rockets into cluster bombs, minelets, shoot them as a shotgun or a minigun and don't get me started with plasma burster missiles. The Hurricane can be built for such different purposes and uses.
What's the minigun one?
@@sireawfulthe1st291 Rocket barrage, it gives 3x rate of fire, more ammo and less spread, but you lose damage and can't control the missiles in the air
I love being a moving and walking ticking time bomb
How lucky that Scalebramble hid it's weakpoint, so you could just show us the full potential of cluster missiles
This new update turned me into a Gunner main
I will say, this OC is very efficient at setting bugs on fire. You can get a small group of grunts on fire with 1-2 clusters if you aim right, but you are losing out on a fair bit of damage.
so does a flamethrower 🤷♂
@@hamishjones3023 Driller doesn't have Volatile Bullets
@@llmkursk8254 based argument
@@llmkursk8254 um ackshually driller has volatile bullets on the subata :nerd_emoji:
Unless they removed it idk I don't use subata or flamethrower
i'd rather take stun over heat
3 minutes ago, loving these series, keep it up man!
This OC was op back in experimental but they tone it down a bit so now it ok.
So excited to get to try this tomorrow!!!
my only issue with this overclock is the way you trigger the clusters and how the weapon just doesn't reload at all if you hold the button (even if there's no rockets out there)
wish they'd change it (or give us the option to) to something like reload + left mouse button
Better yet: being able to bind alt fire and reload to different keys/buttons. May lead to less confussion and more comfort on customazing your controls
Hurricane pod is just too fun, im neglecting the other classes
The autogun artillery is ahard carry.
This takes so much attention, effort and ammo for basic kills.
You absolutely NEED that projectile speed for this overclock, it feels very bad without it
Glad the game finally got an update still no cross play unfortunately
I think Nitroglycerin Compound needs a buff; it's underwhelming to me.
You can use Bosco to mine this corestone and in the meantime you can shoot the Crawlers
Can you do a comparison, cluster charges vs mortar rounds?
what gun skin is that in the beginning?
That is the new Buff skin, it can be found in new cosmetic overclocks.
@@ReapeeRon youre awesome man thank you so much
Im suprised you didnt got bugged after the new rock atack i had time that bassicly when i jump with doti or use jets i got send into ground killing myself my teamates had same things its annoying hope they patch it up
This is definitely an anti septic spreader OC. No more hiding behind ledges from me bugs...
after teh nerf it really feels iffy to use
If only it was a spherical explosion rather than cluster bomblets or if the cluster detonated by proximity or impact. Otherwise its too random to be consistent with the clusters.
The trick is to either set off the cluster very close to the enemy such that they get hit by the whole thing, or build up a whole salvo of the missiles by swirling them in the air a bit before releasing the clusters on your target.
Thia OC is overrared imo, especially the cluster part, way too awkward and impractical to use.
it's fun to use when you get used to it
I like to try to hit every cluster on the same large enemy and it does some pretty insane damage if it hits right.
But does it do more damage than just shooting the base rocket at it?
sounds like skill issue
It does 3 times more damage per rocket
I think it's just a matter of getting used to how it works, which I'm ok with personally. The best overclocks are the ones that fundamentally change how a weapon is used. Gives the game better variety.
