    Just a little tip for the paddle drip rings. They are more effective if placed closer to the paddle blades...about 4 to maybe 6 inches.

      Normally they are, mine are stretched out and need to be replaced. They slide too easy. Sometimes I fix them on the water when I think about it. Thanks for the tip though and sharing with other viewers.

    Enjoyed the video! When you mentioned that the crustables keep you moving downstream, I was thinking that I hope you have some wrap on board😂

    Enjoyed the watch! No smallies down here in S.Alabama, but I love when the large heads and spots are biting. Hasn't stopped raining long enough to go, lately, down here. Subbed...Stay Safe!

      Appreciate the support! Do you have the shoal bass there? They are on my bucket list. Smallies are awesome! Hard fighting fish.

    • @DEADorALIVEkayaking
      @DEADorALIVEkayaking Před 11 měsíci

      @@Itchin2Fish We do have shoal bass, here...most folks just call them redeye bass. If I go north about 200+ miles, I can find smallies, rock bass, shadow bass, and Coosa bass. About 100 miles south and east puts me in Suwanee bass territory, and about 600 miles south and east is peacock bass country! I'm hoping to retire in about 2 or 3 years, and I plan to stay busy for a while checking them all off the list! LOL Stay Safe

    Comment " I came here for bigguns'. Ive fished this river for the last 10 years and have yet to get a biggun'. However I have caught hundreds of fish just like the ones in the video and they are all fun. Sunfish, small mouth, lagemouth, catfish and gar....lots of gar. In fact my buddy had a sunfish on the line pulling up to his kayak and a gar came right up to it and bit the fish, and for a short time my buddy had both fish on until the gar bit the sunfish in half. Good story

      Awesome story! That would be cool to see. I’ve been fishing it for 6 years. My biggest officially was a 3.5 smallmouth. Caught 5 total over 3 pounds and 4-4 pound largemouth on that creek. What’s crazy is I’ve seen 3 smallmouth personally over 4 pounds along the creek. I had one follow my bait five feet from my kayak, then turned. They are big for a reason and scarce. I’ve seen a few pics of people catching them, but on live bait. So I give those catches an *. I haven’t considered yet, but getting desperate now. lol
      Thanks for commenting and sharing the cool story. Wish we had some of those Minnesota, Michigan and Canada size ones.
