- Today we are helping a disabled woman and her husband. He has been unable to take care of the overgrown yard due to working so much to provide for his family. We decided to give them a lawn care makeover. Not only did we take care of the overgrown yard but we also cleaned out the flower beds. Only I see in several videos you tend to entirely remove shrubs clearly planted to provide som vertical greenery along fences or soften corners of houses, even cutting down healthy old roses, and can't help but wonder why?
English ivy deteriorates walls, but Boston ivy doesn't and turns a beautiful red in fall. It grows back, but roses cut with powertools down to the ground probably won't.
I'm not big on empty lawns but you do some fantastic work for people who need it, and thats really commendable. 🙏♥️

I was wondering why they cut down perfectly healthy plants but I guess if they're out of sight in a corner and not providing any attractive feature value nor are they windbreak or security plants they're just going to become a pain in the a**to maintain so better to remove them now and reduce Garden Workload?
I work a rotating shift 12 hours and some people don't seem to understand how the job drains you and you cannot get much rest between shifts. Right now before my work rotation we had 3 days of rain making mowing impossible, then 4 day shifts where it is too dark to safely mow. 4 days off and it rained most of each day, I have 11 days since my last mow and it rained yesterday and will rain today. I have the means to do it just not the opportunity but those around me give me the stink eye as they have more free time each day to be able to do it. I love that you both took on this because it weighs on one's heart not to have it taken care of. Well done.

That's why we, in the Netherlands, have houses on smaller plots, without football fields around.
So people can spent time with the kids and family, not with house duties.

Husband working hard and tough conditions at home makes it hard to relax and replenish energy. You guys doing their yard is a blessing. I hope the family will sit outside and just be. No worry about the yard.

I am subscribed and I like all videos I watch and I share all your videos on Facebook sorry 😐 I am disabled and can't help out more I got all I can do to walk who knew that at 61 I would have so many health problems I find it very hard to live on 700.00 dollars a month. I worked over 33 year's of my life and have so very much red tape to get the help I truly need. But I know that God has my back, sides, front, and he gives us no more than e can handle. And I love my GOD, with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind, and I love my neighbor as myself.

I work long hours and at 65 years old have to push now over an acre since the tractor died. It's Terrible especially since I need another back surgery. Thank you for doing what you do. God fill your life here and in the afterlife with many Graces

I'm so proud that there are people like you out there I'm in tears everyday because like grass is so high and nobody will help me all they do is call the city and get violations for me I'm 69 years old in a wheelchair 5 years ago I paid by $4,700 to fix the back of my house and you did a horrible job and I got a violation from the city but it has to be done right and I'm paid people to come play grass and they never come back I'm just so glad there are angels like you out there I hope someone passes my house one day and knocked on my door and Anthony if they can help me

Easy for things to get out of hand when you see it everyday. We have neighbors who have rejected offers to clean their gutters, they have pine trees growing in them. Good job, still trying to make it back to visit your city, be safe snake season almost gone lol
I can’t understand why someone who’d reject offers of help to clean their gutters. Well it’s their own fault if things get worse & cause expensive damage to their property. God calls you to help others but it’s sad 😞 when some people don’t take the help. Who knows why people are like that. So often friends can be more help than family, I know that myself.

When the previous owner defaulted on the loan, a close friend of ours bought the house to flip and sell. I was a self employed contractor and did all the work for him. No details but the interior was basically trashed. It took almost 2 months so I'm a bit connected to this home.
