- Our bathroom vanity was looking pretty worn and outdated, so I decided to give it some love with some paint! I used the Cabinet Transformations Kit from Rust-Oleum and it worked perfectly. In this video, I walk you through the exact steps to paint your bathroom vanity (or maybe even all of your kitchen cabinets!).

Love the new look! You've inspired me to finally attempt to paint our bathroom vanity!
Fantastic. Been wanting to repaint my vanity cabinet. I’m a rookie but I think I can do it!! My professional painter was going to charge me $800 !
Thanks your video, it inspired me and will save me money
You can absolutely do it! Good luck!
Absolutely amazing. I love watching DIY project’s but or wood making but i never tried or attempt, i think it’s about time for me to try some furniture painting.
Yes! You definitely should, Yasmin.
@@Thediyplaybook thanks
I actually need this for this weekend! Thank you so much!
So happy to hear it was helpful!
Absolutely breathtaking and gorgeous finish! Thank you forA well explained but straight to the point video clip.. the end product looks twice as expensive as the original.. 👍🏼
So nice of you! Thank you so much.
Looks great and what a time saver, vs sanding and priming!
Beautiful work 🤩
I’m doing this to both of my vanities and one will be the exact color you used so it was nice to see what it will look like, (I hope).
very lovely...where can i purchase this product and will it work on a glazed finished cabinet.?
Looks wonderful!!! I would love to see how what you used for your floor pls. I see u painted and used floor pops?? 😊
Yes, I painted them and stenciled them. You can read all about it in this blog post. thediyplaybook.com/stencil-tile-floors/
@@Thediyplaybook thank you so much… what is usually preferred on bathroom tiles matte or semi gloss for both base and coat?
@@ROZMUSA2010 I think it's personal preference. I've always used matte when painting my tile floors
Nice. Your bathroom is exactly like mine wxept the floors and my vanity top is white tile. I will be painting vanity too and framing the mirror. I just don't know what to do with the vanity top yet?
Looks sooooo much nicer than the ugly dated 1980's oak cabinets! Does Home Depot have the cabinet paint kits?
Yes, they're sold at Menard's and Home Depot
Thanks for the video! You did an awesome job. Where did your purchase the paint?
Home Depot!
Hi. Why did you skip step 3? I believe you said it was wax? Thank you for this video. Very helpful.
It's a glaze that gives it an antique look which isn't really my style. It's an optional step.
Great video! What were the colors from your other bathroom? And could you share the stencil you used then?
You can find all the scoop on that project here. thediyplaybook.com/how-to-paint-tile-floors/
What is the color used in the walls? Thanks
Benjamin Moore "Ballet White"
@@Thediyplaybook Thank You!!
It looks great. What colour is that in the video?
It's called "Bayleaf"
Did you use a foam roller?
What if my bathroom vanity already has paint? Can i still use this process?
I would maybe sand first and then follow these same steps
How is it holding up now that it's been a year? Not sanding or priming makes me nervous about the paint peeling.
Not one mark on it! Looks just as it did when I first painted.
Same
Can this be done using a high gloss finish paint?
This specific kit comes doesn't come in multiple sheens.
The kit is $75 if anyone is curious
