    Good information thanks. I have a similar moza solution so it will be interesting to try to install the pedals!

      Glad it was helpful! Let me know if you need more details on exactly how to mount the pedals, but there are two mounting holes underneath on the SRP Lites, then you just have to figure out how to line up the brake pedal...

    Charming review dude! well done.
    That seat flex though! XD I want a rigid seat but bucket seats are almost the same price as the rig.

    • @MichaelSmithRaces
      @MichaelSmithRaces  Před 9 měsíci

      Thanks! Haha, yeah its always a cost issue! I think all reclining seats will have some flex hence why buckets exist... I was purposely trying to show it as bad as possible, in normal use you dont fully flex into your back like I was in the video!

    I really wish someone would do a comparison video between this cockpit and the Track Racer TR80 Lite.

    • @MichaelSmithRaces
      @MichaelSmithRaces  Před rokem +2

      While I obviously dont have both, I would say that you would almost certainly be happy with either. The frames are so sturdy at this level. Pedal tray looks better on the TR. Is there something specific you are looking for? If you can spend a bit more money then maybe I would go trak racer and get a seat from them aswell especially if you want a bucket, but that is coming up close to double the price so I didnt want to spend that much and this setup is more than good enough for me, for now!

    I have a gr omega Titan but I’m tempted to buy this for 1 main reason, on my Titan I am not able to move wheel up and down and as a result, my wheel is a bit too high and being able to move it up or down to perfect position, would make a huge difference to how I race.

    • @MichaelSmithRaces
      @MichaelSmithRaces  Před rokem

      Yes alu profile is amazing because you can adjust everything to the mm exactly where you want it. BUT then you want to tinker with everything trying to get it perfect :)

    I received my Prime Lite on 6/2/23 and I had the crossbar threading issue as well so it apparently still hasn’t be worked out with their QC. Their customer service was prompt and got me a replacement part shipped out immediately but still took a week to get to me which was still annoying considering it’s an on-going problem for them.

    • @MichaelSmithRaces
      @MichaelSmithRaces  Před 11 měsíci

      Sorry to hear that, shame that is not sorted you would think they would be inspecting each one! Hope you enjoy it now that its sorted!

    Ordered my rig in 9/23. I guess I got lucky.
    1. Unit was in stock and shipped quickly
    2. Arrived at my doorstep in just a few days (West Coast USA)
    3. No issues with the hardware whatsoever. Cross member threaded in just fine
    I did have to drill a couple of holes to get my CSL pedals where I wanted them
    It appears they've sorted out the issues. I found it to be a very good rig for the price and would have no problem recommending it.

    I received an email shipping confirmation this morning for the wheel deck replacement. Time wise it took 3 business days to ship from when I submitted pictures to gtomega. Assuming it will take a week to arrive. I have the integrated monitor mount and I'll let you know how stable it is...once I assemble the wheel deck 🤪

    • @MichaelSmithRaces
      @MichaelSmithRaces  Před rokem

      Glad they are getting it sorted, such a shame that its left you without a usable rig! How many monitors are you planning? Do you know the weight of them?

    • @ddrougeau
      @ddrougeau Před rokem

      @@MichaelSmithRaces Currently a single 32" monitor (11 pounds) as I currently play on a PS5. If I ever move to PC and get a ultrawide like the Samsung Odyssey G9, it would be a different experience as it weighs 3x that. The arms of the integrated mount were def designed for the Prime with the vertical arms for the wheel deck have a 3rd rail for mounting vs the 2 on the Lite. If it doesn't work out, I'll return it and get the simulator stand.

    • @MichaelSmithRaces
      @MichaelSmithRaces  Před rokem

      Im sure it will be great for one monitor! I have my eye on three eventually, but need to take over a bit more space for that!! Did you get VR also? I was tempted, but as I have moza I didnt fancy trying to get it working with an adapter..

      You're one of the lucky one's that got a quick resolution. Took me a couple of days to initially hear back on the issue, another bit to get answers to a question before picking my replacement wheel deck then after not hearing back for multiple days after confirming which replacement wheel deck I wanted I decided I just wanted to return it.
      It's been quite a process getting responses on starting the return process. Finally 3 days after the rep saying he submitted my return request I get an e-mail from someone else but not with the return shipping labels. Nope, asking for pictures of the boxes packed up ready to go THEN they'll e-mail me the shipping labels. Can't wait to see how long that takes. It's been almost 2 weeks since the initial delivery of my prime lite and I still dont have resolution.
      In the meantime I've ordered a rig from Advanced sim racing, good riddance GT Omega. It's a shame too because I just saw the full size prime is on sale, I would have gladly returned the prime lite and purchased that rig had I not had such a bad experience but at this point I'm done. These things cost too much money to put up with a bad customer service experience.

    • @ddrougeau
      @ddrougeau Před rokem

      The VR2 will be my next purchase and I'll probably get it this summer. I've heard amazing things about the experience with GT7. I would do away with monitors altogether if every game supported it, but alas...

    Your wheel mount uprights should be stiffer than that, ive just built mine and those uprights are rock solid, literally no flex at all

    • @MichaelSmithRaces
      @MichaelSmithRaces  Před 2 měsíci

      Thanks for pointing this out you are right @wolfe1970 yeah the rig has been rebuilt a fair number of times since this, I think perhaps I didnt have all the bolts done up properly? But I would still advise against getting the integrated monitor mounts if at all possible!

    If i order the prime lite without a seat, can i mount an aftermarket bucket seat without needing extra mounting brackets etc?

    • @MichaelSmithRaces
      @MichaelSmithRaces  Před 5 měsíci

      @brakozonhs1 you will need bucket seat mounting brackets as bucket seats have the mount holes on the sides rather than the bottom, and the mounting brackets will fit onto the prime lite frame.

    • @brakozonhs1
      @brakozonhs1 Před 5 měsíci

      @@MichaelSmithRaces Does GT Omega offer mounting brackets?

    • @MichaelSmithRaces
      @MichaelSmithRaces  Před 5 měsíci

      @brakozonhs1 get the brackets with the seat, then you know it will work with the seat, and anything will mount to the prime lite as it is just a flat profile so the bolts can go where required by the seat bracket.
