As a longtime Twisted Metal Fan since the PS1 era, I can't wait to watch this TV Series. Hell, I'm waiting & hyping for this over The Last of Us TV Series.
It's honestly my most anticipated PlayStation Productions Project since they have the most free reign to do what they want with the source material
I hope this shit gets dark and twisted and gives twisted metal new yet intertwining roots, funny and gorey and dark and creepy man there’s so many ways they could go about it
The only thing that'd make it horrible are the people that end up bitching about it that expected the series to be full canon and serious. It's supposed to be fun and goofy.

Calypso was listed and his actor was mentioned, but it was removed. I don't know if it was because it was rumor or if the company doesn't want that info to be known yet. I don't remember the guy's name, but he looks mid-20s and could make it work.
Oh wow I did not know that. If I had to guess, he will be the "big reveal" character near the end of the season, hopefully setting up the tournament for the future seasons

According to the plot synopsis the twisted metal contest doesnt even happen in the show, so I doubt it

I really like the cut of this guys jib, he seems very knowledgeable about this, as if he has some kind of history with Playstation exclusive franchises.

I really can't wrap my head around why such ridiculous projects like this or Cowboy Bebop get the greenlight when really well made, engaging projects like 1899 or Mind Hunter get canned.

I too am doubtful that either the TV show or the game are going to be any good. I have been a fan since the first game and have watched the how the IP has been treated since the early 2010's. Sony doesn't seem to have any faith in the franchise to allow the game to be what it needs to be... Just a damn good car combat game. The mention of VR is what really concerns me.
Good video but I'm actually not to concerned about the TV show, no matter how it comes out. I'm more worried about the game. If you have any info on the new TM on PS5 please make a video about it.

Didn't want a show to be honest. Easily rather a new game or better yet a series of Remastered TMs (1 2 3 4 Blk and Head on)
Think about it this way, if the show does good, it will bring new fans to the franchise and that will make them put out new games. Im willing to bet they're ready thinking about making new games sense they're making this show.
So instead of another game we get a show? Smh
