There is a restaurant in Moung Russei that offers mouse stew and stir fry. I have never been, but the reviews are positive.

Yes, you’re absolutely right. And this one deep in the jungle survived really well. Maybe there was a village nearby that looked after it for many centuries

No was not free, the price was established very early. It was one dollar for a rat. I would’ve bought it but I just didn’t have a skewer big enough.
