A unique library of forgotten & ancient temples!
I travel tens of thousands of kilometres to build the first ever video library of these ancient wonders. Many have been shattered by civil war & these often neglected temples of a once mighty empire are overlooked, I aim to change that by bringing them back into the light.

Another EPIC adventure Mr. B, be careful and take care as always
Thank you so very much. I never expected to walk so far, but it was well worth it. This is definitely in my top 10 favourite temples.
Wow wow wow!! I do like a bit of adventure but the Indiana Jones spirit is with you my friend. When you came over the hill I could finally let out my breath and smile. What a beauty!! Thanks for having me along.
I am so glad you enjoyed it so much it was absolutely amazing. This without doubt is one of my favourite Temples. I have seen over 400 now, but this day was really special
This is also a place that the Thai military committed a genocide against the Cambodian people in 1979.
Thanks Mr B, another great adventure. Thanks for sharing. And don't forget the water next time....
I always forget water, this time I was really caught out as was a very long slog to the site. But man was it worth it.
Very hard work in this humidity, but what a reward! Loved the green ladder.🎉
Believe me, Claire it was just unbelievable finding the staircase that was covered in moss in the middle of nowhere. It was such an adventure for me because I think like a child. After 400 Temples, this is one of my favourites. I hope life is kind and you and Jeremy are well
I’ve just watched this on CEO but can not 👍🏽 there so came here to do it - I also do it on your weekly news that I watch religiously - yesterday I saw it live for the first time
Spectacular video Mr. B! Thanks for showing us want we want to see & discover. You are a Champ! 😎🙏 Much respect Mr. B
You are very kind, thank you. I thought I was going to get off my motorcycle and walk for just minutes in fact took me the best part of the day and that is what made it so wonderful it was a proper adventure Interestingly, I just read in the newspaper today that landline deaths have gone up by nearly 70% this year But on this occasion it was the jungle that was the danger mostly because I did not take water
I still need your correct paypal or cash app info so I may donate.
It’s just funny when Khmer people wrote the new history about Khmer empire. They just want to claim Thai cultures and our provinces which are close to Cambodia. Khmer empire never exit there was only Khom. All information on website was changed, they edited Wikipedia when we searched for Khom it showed “ Khmer” that’s why they got the chance to claim Thai. Khom is not Khmer , wake up ! If Khmer empire was big how it collapsed by small troops of Siamese from China as they called us? We never be taught about Khmer empire, our cultures and language are not even said about Khmer but Khom.
Khmer was ruled by Thai, during that time they were taught a lot of cultures and got influenced by Thai. I ll not say about the past who built the temple style first but let’s see it nowadays, people may not know Khmer people are living as shadow of Thai. For example: they copied movies , songs, dances , foods and more by changing the language to Khmer. You can see many restaurants in Cambodia they need to put the word “Thai cuisine” to attract tourists, most of foods are similar to Thai foods. They submitted a lot of things to UNESCO but some got rejected bc they don’t have evidences or history to prove it. They did literature and said they are original but they didn’t check it first those Thai literatures by “ Sunthorn Phu “ who was honored by UNESCO as great world poet. They submitted Kun Khmer by claiming that is original of Muay Thai, they used traditional Thai costumes as their costumes now by saying evidences is on the Angkor wall and Thai people just stole everything from them. It’s like if Thai had something, Khmer must have that as well. they are telling the world that they are victims but Thai people are thieves. If you want Thai people speak out about how Khmer did to us I think it could not say it all in years
** as a Thai people I’m sad that our traditional Thai costumes was copied by Khmer, all costumes had styles and history depended on era and our Queen SiriKit keep treating it very well until the world knows these costumes are unique of Thai. There is Museum of Queen SiriKit’s Wardrobe created by Pierre Balmain but Khmer people just claimed it after they got obsessed with Thai dramas
Keep going uncle. U did the best to explain all the way like that. ❤❤
Thailand is always copying And make bad history to cambodia
Lovely! I wonder if there is a head monk who takes responsibility for the artistic direction of these temples. And if so, what level of artistic freedom does he have? Keep well, Mr B.
I filmed it because there was an ancient temple there also I showed the modern temple because they are rolling in money I see thousands of modern Temples that adjust crumbling and falling apart but This one is really rich
បើកស្ថានភាពដូច២០០៨ទីនោះជាគោលដៅវាប្រហារ
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 If you can't steal it, build it, even if it looked like stacked dry buffalo shits. If Siem hated Khmer so much, why are you copyinh and mimic from Khmer? Are you envious and jealous of Khmer?Remember, it took over 30 years from start of completion for Angkor Wat construction. It still stand proudly after 900 years. If the Siem are so great and mighty as they claimed to be over Khmer, then you better prove it.
Copy from Cambodia
Wow what an underrated channel, you are such a brilliant and passionate communicator. I just love the way you narrate, thank you sir, subscribed!
You are so very kind thank you so very very much. I spend a lot of my life hunting ancient temples, and it is quite a lonely business. But it makes me feel complete. If you search my channel, you will see a video about how I was once a horrendous addict, and it is, in fact, the temples that pulled me away from the very edge of death. Okay, thank you so much for your comment. It really did make me smile Please do not forget to have adventures of your own
@@TheMrB I am so glad my comment make you smile sir, I will make sure to watch as many of your videos as possible in my free time. Thank you so much for your response I really appreciate it! Pol Pot related documentaries are extremely few and rare so your own contribution on this topic is just extraordinary!
@Fluffychoupikkos thank you again I don’t get that many followers and I never will because I’m not unboxing iPhones 🤠 But I do not mind I do what I do because I think and it needs to be done, and I love doing it. It is such a tragedy these temples are often ignored
@@TheMrB This is really inspirational! I am personally very interested and passionate about the twentieth century history so I am sure I will find more on your channel, thank you very much !
Ppl comment here might really have high education, yet they don't know the word COPY is? Dude, whoever built it first is always the first and original. Even similarly, it is still influenced or an idea from the first owner. 😂 you just want it so bad, and you can not steal it. So build it and say it built bt Siam Nakorn..... don't tell me that you hire cambodia to do all the work? That is why Siam always uses hash words to call us Khmer Slaves.
Very colourful ❤
I loved the opening shot of the temple as it looked like honey I shrunk the kids 😂😂 I bet you were buzzing finding that original piece of ceiling. What a shame it ended with an awful accident on the way home 😢 We are all alone really even when surrounded by family so enjoy your peaceful life and freedom ❤🥰
It appears the Khmer temple is in Thailand because of the letters sign and the photo of the Thai king, who is considered by many people as not good looking.
and the women are donating coins! :)
@ForRiel they actually rents the coins. You pay a dollar maybe they give you the coins and then they take them out the bowl at the end of the day
Truly majestic place
Say it what you want, but it's cannot change the truth Thailand have no land of themselves😅 at the beginning they just take the opportunity when the Khmer empire collapsed.
Noted my word thai will fake more history after build this temple.
Beautiful beautiful beautiful

Must visit kailash temple in ellora . (Maharashtra , india) . Largest rockcut monolithic structure in the world . an underrated wonder
I see many of the stones have a hole, which was used for lifting. However, some of the stones don't even have any holes. It seems odds.
I think that depends on what they had available. Maybe they had a cradle and did not need to waste time putting in holes. or maybe the holes were used at the quarry but not at the site so they were not all directly related to the actual building
Thank you so much!
You are very welcome. Please do remember to have adventures of your own.
Thank you!
Thank you for speaking fact.
Wow, it's rare to see baby dogs in an area like that. I assume there are a lot of stray dogs in the country.
The dogs are mostly owned by people who quite simply do not care. Subsequently, hundreds of people die every year coming off their bikes. When you approach the Owner and tell them they’re has done damage they immediately tell you it’s not their dog and people gang up on you. It is absolutely horrible.
Thai copied from Angkor Wat of Cambodia.
y u do like this thailand!? 😂
Thailand world heritage no. 5 vs Cambodia world heritage no. 95, no reason Thailand need to copying anything from Cambodia 😊😊😊🇹🇭❤️🇹🇭
I was there last month and I can confirm its beauty.
Cambodia used to be a Hindu country and those temples were built as Hindu temples with Hindu carvings on their walls. Thai(Siam) is a Buddhist country so why were they building Hindu temples?
Those kids don't realize that the've been conditioned to believe and practice Buddhism like they have no free will. It also happens to other religions such as Christianity and Islam.
I miss you Mr. b how are u!?
I am very well, thank you. I am just planning another trip into Thailand . Maybe I will go next week. The problem is the rain season has started so I will have to be careful I hope life is kind and please do remember to have an adventure
@@TheMrB oh wow ! I recommend you visiting Phanom Rung temple , ancient Khmer architecture
First Angor Wat Asbuilt Drawing need submission, then compare with Wat Phumanfah Design-Construction-Asbuilt drawing, if they are not the same, the conclusion is, Wat Phumanfah has not been copying Angor Wat, as claimed. Cambodia(claimer)must be respnsible for all expenses of investigation matter.
actually angkor wat was build by the thai people, angkor wat was build in siem reap, and siem reap mean kingdom of siam
No, no, no, Siem Reap translate to flatten Thai( Siem =Siam and Reap=flatten). Thai sacked Ankor Wat and later was beaten or flatten by Khmer. That's why they rename the city to Siem Reap.😅
That is a pretty big size temple for something that far from Angkor
Yes, it is amazing and its prime it must’ve dominated For miles like a huge cathedral
@@TheMrB Haha. I do like to think these temples were similar to Cathedrals of Europe that were erected in the thousands throughout the region.
Ancient times before the Siamese kingdom Our Lord has fought and gathered together various civilizations in each region. The Siamese people therefore have a variety of civilizations, such as the Tai Kadai people who immigrated from southern China, the Lue people, the Mon people, the Lanna people, whose territory is in the northern part of the country, while the Lawo people, the Khmer people, and the Lao people have territory in the north. Central and eastern regions of the Siamese empire and gathered the southern region There are Malay people who settled there. Entering the Thonburi era During the change of capital From Thonburi to Ayutthaya, which was a prosperous era of trade between Siam and foreign countries at that time, there were Chinese and Yue people who were the last generation of immigrants. So All these people were called Siamese in the past. << Asked: When did Siam lose the territory of Cambodia and Laos? >> - On July 15, that is the year 1867, during the reign of King Rama IV, Siam had to lose Cambodia and 6 islands, area 124,000 sq. km., to France. - The loss of territory on the left bank of the Mekong River in 1893 (Rattanakosin 112 AD) France wanted Laos or the left bank of the Mekong River became its own colony Therefore, they used the excuse that the Vietnamese and Khmers had previously had power over Laos. When Vietnam and Cambodia were colonized by France, various territories These areas should also belong to France. In 1893 (R.S. 112), France sent a navy along the Mekong River Basin and sent two warships to block the mouth of the Chao Phraya River. The soldiers fought an unsuccessful firefight. Someone was injured. and the ship was badly damaged. Mr. Pawee, who is the French Ambassador to Thailand has issued an ultimatum to close Thai waters If Thailand does not comply with France's demands and immediately closed the Gulf of Thailand The Thai government must comply with all French demands. For the independence and sovereignty of the nation, the crisis of R.S. 112 is considered Thailand's most important and greatest loss of territory. They had to cede almost all of the Lao kingdom to France.
This is a piece of shit from Thailand
❤❤❤
❤️🌹❤️
"Mountain goat of ecstacy" 🤣 Love it! What a great temple that is. I hope you aren't in too much pain and your recovery is swift.
Oddly, I was thinking about you last night, thinking I’m not seen you for a long time. Are you still in town?
I think the temple was still being built. As you can see the decoration part was not yet done.
It is hard to say as it is so very common to see there is work not completed. it seems they were forever working on the Temples a bit like the pagodas here in Cambodia the work it seems never finishes
I love this video Mr B. Thank you for your fascinating comments. I wish you a quick recovery !
Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and your best wishes they are very much appreciated
Hope you're on the mend quickly..
Yes I am fine thank you so much. I have had many close calls but this time I actually had a proper accident it was really quite frightening. But I will be okay. Thank you so much for your kind words.
