update on the federals for the back of z car. i havent had much luck with them in other sizes

Imma go on amazon and purchase these for my z06 that I’ve just bought. My car has 14k miles on it and the pilot sport cup 2 tires on them right now and look almost like the ones your friend took off of his z06

That’s really just how corvette’s tires wear cause if the camber especially since a Z06 it has more negative camber then the average car cause it’s kinda intended for track use I guess you can say, but the real question is was he driving with traction control on or off ?

Never deviate from what manufacurers recommend especially for a car like this. Michelin are the best tires for corvettes. Your factory tires lasted 16K which is about right and its caused by the aggressive torque of the Z06 and it has nothing to do with alingmets. These tires will probably last half of what Michelin tires did. The fornt tires last about 30K (factory tires). Just curious to know how much meat you have left on rear tires. Thanks.
