My mom has bpd and I’ve seen her legit shoot at someone she even had the swat team called on her once for a fight with her at the time husband (as with some with bpd she had … several) that involved her apparently pointing a shotgun at him and trying to pull the trigger. Had he not stuck his thumb behind the trigger and had it almost cut off in the process , story might have ended like this one 🤦‍♀️ I mean truth is really stranger than fiction sometimes. And if you ever ask for her side of the story, oh man she’s the victim 100% and takes zero zero zero responsibility for her actions.
On a side note she has helped save a lot of dogs from being put down and gotten them adopted so I guess there is a silver lining to everyone

“Obtaining as much information as possible before the marriage allows somebody to make an informed decision, this can help prevent a lot of unpleasant discoveries after the marriage.” This seems like a no brainer, however we can observe that people will either not give enough time to get to know each other or they will only see what they want to see. Generally speaking, although marriage is one of the most important decisions in someone’s life, it is done with very little scrutiny.

Its hard to decide how long and WHAT is needed to know about a person before marriage. cohabitation is correlated with high divorce rates, and that seems like the best way to gather info about someone before marriage. being sexually active before marriage (especially for the woman), which is also a function of most cohabitating couples, is correlated with higher divorce rates. So, i don't see the evidence to suggest that we need to figure people out (to the extent of sleeping with them or living with them) before we marry them. But I do get that if marriage is a really important decision, we'd want to discern if the person is right for us. It's just not clear WHAT we are discerning/ looking for. We are pretty lost in this department, I think.

As Geragos (sp?) or the defense attorney for Scott Peterson has publicly admitted that: He hopes that a judge will find fault with the competence of his defense strategy to earn Peterson a re-trial!!?? I am not picking on reputable defense attorneys here but this seems like a very unfair situation for taxpayers and innocent family members alike.

People who get married 3+ times skew the average for marriages that end in divorce, because the chances of a happy marriage after you've already been married thrice are very low. Just stop aiming for monogamy at that point

Man, it's nucking futz how much easier it was to commit crimes, hide evidence and evade the authorities it used to be. Even as recently as 20 to 25 yrs ago, forensic evidence gathering and surveillance technology was just atrocious compared to now. Not to mention the fact that now information moves so quickly that it is next to impossible to 'disappear', unless you legit know what the hell you're doing and have a ridiculously high affinity for disciplining oneself.

Dr. Grande, could you please speculate about the situation involving CZcamsr Jordan Cheyenne, who accidentally uploaded video of herself trying to coach her (already) crying son to look more sad for a thumbnail? What drives people to behave that way? Will that kind of manipulation have a lasting impact on her child?

The guy turned around because he heard it was raining in California? This sounds absolutely stupid, but there are actually many people in Nevada and California who are like this. It rains so rarely that these people are terrified of driving in the rain. So its not as bad of an excuse as it sounds. Its actually one of the less stupid things these murderers did.

I always found that couples with life stories that read like a Dostovesky novel are made for each other. After absorbing the details of this case it's hard to feel much empathy for either partner. Margaret's sister seems to point toward an amoral childhood or at least conspiratorial (Ya ya) sisterhood?

Thanks for making it this early too. 👍😂👍
There is no rhyme or reason for these dark crimes, unless Margaret was the instigator. 😅😀😅

That they got married in that quickie chapel made sense. The likelihood that they would get divorced was pretty high, and divorce proceedings are always long and arduous. So, get married fast, saving time that could be spent on the divorce.

How about the jewelry that Rons previous wife gave him its was an golden bracelet that has Ron written with diamonds on top of a gold. And the police found this near the skeleton or something like that. Like if somebody is going to kill somebody and they have their name on a bracelet on their hand wouldnt you wanna remove it?🤣🤣

It seems like we have heard of numerous instances where women tell their friends or family that if something happens to them, their husband/boyfriend will be the one who is responsible. THEN, almost unbelievably, they stay in the relationship. This is the first case I have heard of where the GUY suspected his wife might kill him, and not only stayed in the relationship but gave her 40% and then 60% interest in his estate. What was he thinking? Was he thinking? Seems like there must have been something else going on that we don't know about. Was she blackmailing him? Secondly, it always amazes me when people who have committed premeditated murder are sentenced to "life in prison" but with the possibility of parole after 20 years or so. In the first place, that is NOT life in prison. In the second place, does the person they murdered have the possibility of coming back to life after 20 years? Because the murderer is alive, they have at least the chance of going on with their life, while the victim never can. This is not justice.
