I have stenosis, degenerative disc disease, 2cervical fusion, lumbar mri showing “flattening” of L 4, can that be fixed with therapy and some injections? Or it just wishful thinking
Hey there, Dr. Donnally does about 15 new patient telemedicines💻 every week. Here is the best path forward: 1- email your insurance card to Spine@TSCspine.com (We don’t take HMOs or Medicaid, but can private pay, unless Medicaid) 2- if we take that insurance THEN upload your images to my portal for your 1st visit. 3- I must have X-rays and MRI, X-rays are critical! “Just” MRI isn’t enough and is a misuse of your time. It needs to be from last 12 months. Nothing older is needed or wanted. 4- You need to get your CD of your X-ray and MRI (imaging centers will never send them to us) 5- On the top of my website (www.DonnallySpine.com) is the link to UPLOAD images, from YOUR HOME! 🥰(or at a CVS with Physician LookUp Code k5037438) 6- To recap: email us, get CDs, THEN upload! Step by step: czcams.com/video/HpKOfI_1FSs/video.html - Again- no HMO, no Medicaid. Must have your X-rays and MRI.

Can you do surgery if one who has scoliosis, osteoporosis, (on Prolia), maybe spondylitis, & in terrible pain with numbness in thigh (like you said neurogenic ?). Please comment. Thank you.
I have spinal stenosis and wondering what your opinion is of the MILD procedure? I am 60. Have Lupus. Herniated discs 4-5. Sciatica hit me once, couldn’t walk, had an injection & worked very well. That was over a year ago. One Dr. told me he wanted to do a laminectomy, with the placement of the metal apparatus with bolts & things, however, I have worked on Neuro before & seen they don’t work well. So another Dr. mentioned the MILD procedure. This is where they open up the area by shaving off some of the vertebrae. Less recovery time. Less post-op problems.
@@DonnallySpineConsult Yes, they have a few that are trained in it, come from Rochester, Mayo, to my local Mayo to do them. Do you find they are successful?
Hi, I had an MRI and was diagnosed with degenerative disk disease and spinal stenosis, L 3/4, L 4/5. It was recommended to get a Laminectomy. This was a couple of years ago and I chose to stretch, strengthen instead of surgery. So far,so good, no pain. But, my right calf has atrophy. I’m wondering if surgery can reverse the atrophy? Thanks.

Dr. Donnelly, what is your opinion on hemilaminectomy for shooting down pain on the right side? L3,4,5? My MRI shows this very clearly. I had 2 surgical opinions. One from Rothman Institute for laminectomy at 3,4,5 with screws vs. hemi from a neurosurgeon at Jefferson Hospital. I vote for the second opinion because it’s less invasive. Your thoughts? Thanks
I've been in agonizing pain for decades, I've subscribed and I hope I can learn something that will help me. My doctors are useless and have only mostly caused me more pain.
Sorry the sound quality is so poor! I’m trying out a few new things- this one wasn’t good! Thanks all! 🎉

MILD- usually best best if a spine surgeon does it, not pain doc
