Jiraiya, also lovingly known by his friends as “Pervy Sage”, and respected by his enemies as one of the three “Sannin” that is to say “Legendary Ninja”, he was a wise and intelligent teacher who might have had his vices, but was loved by everyone, and whose stories everyone liked to read, not just because they were lemon… well… maybe exactly for that reason… and was even respected by the likes of Kakashi Hatake, one of his biggest fans, and even to a point Sai, who was also reading it on recommendation to learn to feel emotion. Jiraiya touched the lives of everyone who knew him, even down to the viewer. If Master Roshi and Old Ben Kenobi could fuse into one person, they would name that fusion “Jiraiya”. The perfect mix of comedy relief and wise-sage. So we all felt it when he had his moment in the sun during his fight with Pain, and bit the bullet. Naruto cried over a popsicle as did we all. A true shinobi treasure was lost to us forever. But for today, let’s bring this treasure back into our lives and attempt to see what might have happened if he had lived through his fight with Pain.

I love your videos, but why did we only get 3 minutes of "What if..." and 15 minutes of resuming Jiraiya's life? Wish we could get more of what the video was intended 😢
First time watching one of these? It's always 99% what we got canonically and 1% what if.

you could do if danzo died in the 1st ninja war then yahiko would be alive since it was danzo which convinced hanzo that the akatsuki was threatening his power and orochimaru would never turn bad sand shisui would be able to stop the uchiha massuce or they might not even be a coup since danzo was the person who relocated the uchiha
Also shisui would never lose his eyes, most likely leaving him alive

the way danzo could die is that during the war when they were ambushed 2 people had to be used as a decoy for team tobirama to escape and both tobirama and danzo sacrificed them selfs to die or he could have died in a random battle
I think it Jiraya was alive Danzo had no chance of becoming hokage considering Naruto i think he will take office for short time until tsunade wake up from her coma
The only thing i dont like about your what ifs is that you do a run down about the characters life until the theory starts

Danzo with kotoamatsukami and Susano sounds like a hellish what if. He'd have even more eyes around his body so he could spam izanagi far longer as he spams kotoamatsukami on literally any Uchiha to compel them to hand over their eyes.

I’m telling you Amagi, when I saw this I literally squeal because I been wanting this.
Jiraiya would be a advisor for Naruto and a very good one at that. He would have also passed on some of his summoning jutsu to a few of the top Shinobi. I see him teaching at the academy also.
@@makingadjustments yes that's true but if he survived the war Arc he would have hooked up with Tsunade, giving him motivation to protect the village. Plus Naruto would want him to help teach the next generation.
Jiraiya isn't the most stubborn guy, probably could be bribed with women ngl unless he hooks up with Tsunade, then he will be extra docile.

It's so sad when you think that Naruto's father was killed trying to save him just like James Potter. And it's also sad that Jiraiya died saving Naruto just like Sirius Black.

I am still dreaming up ways for Jiraiya to return. Don't believe he would have need to look for inspiration...Tsunade would provide all the inspiration Jiraiya would need for his books. And also they accept Naruto and Hinata's children as their grandchildren - their life together ...awesome.

I don't believe jiraya could die in the 2nd fight with pain. He has intel on pain's abilities and sage mode on top of it. He should do as good as naruto in the fight, and even if he can't, he is definetly powerful enough to drag the battle until naruto arrived.

Jiraiya would not become hokage instead of Kakashi. He had already turned down the position 3 times and did not want the job. But he and Tsunade would finally be able to admit their true feelings towards each other and would end up getting married.
