Hi Jon, nice having you in Buenos Aires, not sure if you know this, but the city was names originally as Santa María de los Buenos Aires, in honor of our Lady of Good Airs, protector of sailors, thanking her for the favourable winds and safe trip to Buenos Aires, later usage shortened the name and now it's just Buenos Aires.

Hola Jon !, la relación entre Chile y Argentina, nunca fue políticamente muy fraternal que digamos !. A pesar de que compartimos aquellos años de luchas libertarias del dominio español. Nuestro José de San Martín y Bernardo de O'Higgins fueron los artífices de la libertad de Chile, sin embargo en el siglo XX dejó de ser tan fraternal, para dar paso a algunas disputas territoriales importantes y sobre todo, la ayuda chilena al Reino Unido durante el conflicto de las Islas Malvinas, lo que llevó a poner cierta distancia entre nuestros pueblos, a pesar del intercambio turístico que siempre hubo y en el cual me incluyo, porque he viajado desde Mendoza AR. Tengo familias chilenas - los Vicente, los Cusánovic, los Antúnovic (todos de Punta Arenas justamente) muy allegadas, donde vivió mi querida abuela materna y donde dos de sus hermanas son de aquellos pagos chilenos. Un gran saludo desde Buenos Aires !.

Yes! Great question!!!! Moses was with my sister who was in Quito for this trip. It was awesome to be able to travel with Elise but next time we want to bring Moses. He would love the food and soccer stadiums!!!

Los alfajores son un invento argentino y por lo general están rellenos de dulce de leche, otro invento argentino. Tal vez en otras partes del mundo tengan un dulce parecido, pero no es igual. Con respecto a los aeropuertos, el de Ezeiza es de vuelos internacionales y está lejos de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, el que está en la ciudad sólo hace vuelos cortos. La ciudad de Buenos Aires no tiene mar, lo que se vé es el río mas ancho del mundo, para ir al mar debes hacer unos 400 km hacia el sur. Te recomiendo Mar del Plata y Pinamar para visitar. 😘

@@JonGrossGringo Pinamar queda a 120 km de Mar del Plata, hacia el norte, es el balneario más lujoso de Argentina, incluye Cariló que está al lado. Es un lugar muy lindo para visitar. Para mar del plata, te recomiendo diciembre o marzo, porque en enero y febrero es un terrible loquero!

Así hacen los chilenos, muestran las cosas dónde los extranjeros usurparon y dicen que ahí viven los argentinos.
A parte me resulta chocante que todo el tiempo nos compare con chile, cuándo ellos nos copian a nosotros y si tienen un producto o alimento es porque Argentina los vende en la región y a Chile.

Amigo de Buenos Aires visitó y conoció un 25% los lugares más lujosos y representativos , no los vio.
Parques , teatros , librerías el CFK etc... Nada.
Los alfajores son inventos Argentinos para todo el mundo.
Los vinos nuestros, algunas variedades las mejores del mundo.
Y la comparación con Chile es odiosa.
