Funnily, Nicolo (the icecream shop you went to) is actually famous for it’s very very cheap prices haha. I mean, it’s not that bad, but it’s very industrial and it’s what we considered flavored cream. The best argentine Gelatto is in Lucciano’s, Rapa Nui, Heladeria Italia, to name a few.
It's fantastic now for dollar tourists considering all those prizes due to hyperinflation. So so sad for this beautiful, developped, highly educated and elegant Argentina. Hopefully you will end this suffering soon, so unfair for this amazing country !!!!!!!!!!!

No es importante La Boca, y es el barrio menos representativo de la Ciudad, una mala mezcla de Génova y Nápoles, digamos... Barrios bien porteños son San Telmo, Palermo, Recoleta, etc etc.
That tango show is ridiculous, aimed at the ususpecting tourist. It more properly belong to circus acrobatics than the real thing. There are places where local people gather to dance the real tango but they are out of the touristic circuit.
Yeah, those ones that are popular amongst locals are pretty hard to find 👆 But, we enjoyed all the three places where we saw some live tango, including El Querandí! No harm done 💃
