Great video, thank you!!! I'm from Argentina but I have lived in Canada since 1980 and visited Argentina the last time in 1997. We are taking a cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Buenos Aires in November and will stay in Argentina for 4 months.
So, this is the perfect timing for your video.
    Thank you

So glad that you’ll be returning and taking a cruise there! We had a similar experience- we did a repositioning cruise from Portugal to Brazil, then made our way to Argentina for three months.
Hope you have an amazing time! We have few more videos to post about our travels in Argentina. Beautiful country.

Ouch! Thanks for the info, I usually pick a place and hang out---and cook. I've heard that Bariloche is very expensive, I thought Mendoza was sensibly priced, mostly. Buenos Aires is my favorite so far. Was thinking of Mar del Plata, did you consider it?

The timing didn’t work out on this trip but we’d love to spend time in Mar del Plata. Cooking and slow travel is definitely the way to make money stretch further for us!

Right before our arrival lots of Americans were able to double their money in Argentina, through the blue dollar. We missed that window and were definitely surprised by how expensive things ended up being.
Truly unfortunate for the people that live there. Hopefully their economy recovers soon.

That was last year. USD unofficial rate was rising way higher than inflation. That means cheaper for foreigners. Now is the other way around. Not only inflation dropped to a third of what it was last year but the USD rate is below inflation rate. That means that, even if still really cheap for US citizens not as incredibly cheap as it was a year ago ( the other side of this are that local salaries in USD are rising too )

Hmm. You don't actually have a single airline to most of those places; there's a few low-cost airlines too. They're, you know, bad and unreliable and you can't take big luggage with them; but for viewers on a budget, that's another option...
