Thanks, well done, good to know info
Thanks for watching! Glad video was helpful.
Nate drinks his one at a time, while Migz sips each drink evenly. What do you do?
Great video as everything was explained well, transpo and all! I just want to know whether you encountered a lot of mosquitoes on the trail and within the park? I heard there's lots of Dengue cases in Brazil last summer (Dec 2023 to April 2024). We are planning a trip here in January. Thanks for sharing your thoughts
Thank you! We used bug spray and didn’t experience mosquitoes during our time at the Falls, or while in Rio. However, we did get lots of bites in Buenos Aires- despite using bug spray.
With all the hyperinflation i read about i thought the usd would go farther there
Right before our arrival lots of Americans were able to double their money in Argentina, through the blue dollar. We missed that window and were definitely surprised by how expensive things ended up being. Truly unfortunate for the people that live there. Hopefully their economy recovers soon.
That was last year. USD unofficial rate was rising way higher than inflation. That means cheaper for foreigners. Now is the other way around. Not only inflation dropped to a third of what it was last year but the USD rate is below inflation rate. That means that, even if still really cheap for US citizens not as incredibly cheap as it was a year ago ( the other side of this are that local salaries in USD are rising too )
Great video, thank you!!! I'm from Argentina but I have lived in Canada since 1980 and visited Argentina the last time in 1997. We are taking a cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Buenos Aires in November and will stay in Argentina for 4 months. So, this is the perfect timing for your video. Thank you
So glad that you’ll be returning and taking a cruise there! We had a similar experience- we did a repositioning cruise from Portugal to Brazil, then made our way to Argentina for three months. Hope you have an amazing time! We have few more videos to post about our travels in Argentina. Beautiful country.
The fences in the parks its a shame. The city gobernment decided to put them a few years ago but there is no real reason for them and i think that ruins the view. The mosquitoes invasion this year was insane, something i never seen before, hope that this doesnt repeat next year. There are a lot of dogs in the city, but never experienced a smelly stituation.
Thanks for the additional info. Hopefully the mosquitoes don't return this summer!
There's still a few parks that resist the fencing-up. It mostly happened in the last, say, 20 years or so; for concerns of "security". But when I was a teenager (I'm 40) you could hang out in every park or square all night long with your pals.
There where no fences 8-10 years ago.
Thanks for providing context. Fortunately the fences do look nice. However, getting in and out of the parks can be tricky to navigate if you aren't familiar with where entrances are.
Hmm. You don't actually have a single airline to most of those places; there's a few low-cost airlines too. They're, you know, bad and unreliable and you can't take big luggage with them; but for viewers on a budget, that's another option...
Thanks for sharing!
What an amazing hike! Hope you all get the chance to check it out one day. Recorded January 10, 2024. Weather: 54F (12C), partly cloudy. Length: Out and back trail, 5.4 miles roundtrip (8.7 kilometers), Time: 3 hr 15 min (1hr 30min out + 30 min break + 1hr 15min back).
Now this winter we are freeezing, more than half of the country is under snow. Not BA, but freezing anyway. Greetings from BA
Yikes! We are both from New England, so we've been very pleased that our travels have taken us away from all snow for this past year. Stay warm!
great video!! I hope that you had a wonderful time in my country!!
Thanks! We def had a wonderful time! Your country had such beautiful landscape- breathtaking!!! We have few videos coming up from our time in our favorite cities, like Ushuaia.

Ouch! Thanks for the info, I usually pick a place and hang out---and cook. I've heard that Bariloche is very expensive, I thought Mendoza was sensibly priced, mostly. Buenos Aires is my favorite so far. Was thinking of Mar del Plata, did you consider it?
The timing didn’t work out on this trip but we’d love to spend time in Mar del Plata. Cooking and slow travel is definitely the way to make money stretch further for us!
👍👍👍🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦✌✌😀
A beautiful country to visit and get to know through experiences and its traditions. great video!
Thanks! A beautiful and big country! We still have so much more to experience when we return.
Will give faro a miss. Need somewhere more lively tbh
Understandable. It wasn’t our favorite for liveliness. Nice town for chill days.
Faro town looks boring

The mosquito was a big issue in 2024, because of a weather condition called "La Niña".
Thanks for sharing! Didn’t realize La Niña impacted mosquitoes too.
Yes ,it’s because in this latitude comes with unusually rainy days
I had a very different experience in BA, probably because I didn't go in Summer, but also because I walked everywhere. Stayed in Recoleta on the advice of Argentino friends, and right on the edge of one of the bigger parks. I didn't see any dogs (the family I stayed with had two cats!) and there were no mosquitoes. There were some great neighborhood coffee shops as well as plenty of restaurants. I've been told that most Argentinos don't speak English, but strangely enough, almost everyone I met did. I have visited Mendoza several times, and I'm looking forward to seeing other parts of the country. I found that the best part of Argentina was the people who live there! They don't stop the party just because the sun comes up...:).
It does sound like you saw a different side of things. That's one of the greatest aspects of BA - it can offer so many different experiences depending on what you're into! We're excited to share more videos of our journey throughout Argentina over the coming weeks and months - it has such a variety of experiences and sights throughout.
Argentina is the country with the best level of English in Latin America, in fact.
And the most beautiful thing about Argentina is that since libertotarios voted so bad, you can eat in Argentina as if you're in Eastern Europe from Eurotrip movie. Thanks libertos!!
Beautiful mam, he have same hair style as me🎉
There was a real strange plague of mosquitos since late March up to late Abril, but by early May was completely over. I guess ur video was made within that lapse
Glad that it’s not like that always! We were there Dec - Jan.
Beautiful Buenos Aires. Thanks for sharing your walk. Like 3, your newest sub❤️🙏
Great city! Thanks for your support! 😊
Mosquitoes are usually not a problem. But during the last summer-autumn there was an INVASION of mosquitoes !!
Thanks for letting us know! It was intense- hopefully it’s better this summer.
It looks like SUMMER but we are almost in the cold WINTER.
Yes, we were there earlier in the year.
Beautiful video! One of the best cities without a doubt!!
Thanks for watching!
Migz te recomiendo la proxima que vengas sin la mejicana la vas a pasar mejor👍🏻
Buenos Aires is nicknamed "Paris of America" and it's no coincidence... In mid-19th century, Paris was demolished and rebuilt as we know it today, shortly after Buenos Aires was also demolished and rebuilt in the image of Paris, with its architectural styles of that time: beaux arts/academicism-art nouveau/deco, with the layout of large boulevards/avenues/diagonals and proliferation of parks, like Paris. That's why among major metropolises of the world, just London and Paris r on par with Buenos Aires in terms of urban beauty. For ppl who love architecture, Buenos Aires is "paradise."
I didn't know they were re-built around the same time - that makes sense! It was done in a beautiful style. I wish more cities maintained an emphasis on architectural beauty in present day development.

The breathtaking views continue around each corner on this scenic tour of Iguazu Falls that took us through both Argentina and Brazil. Recorded December 2023.
While we enjoyed our time in Buenos Aires, we aren't rushing back. We fell in love with other Argentinean cities, and will be sharing those soon! As for Buenos Aires, it's definitely a must visit, if you love big cities. What did you think of Buenos Aires? Was it what you expected?
Visit Bariloche, the Perito Moreno Glacier and The Iguazú waterfalls. You won´t regret it !!!!

That cheese dip looks so yummy!I also now want fresh lemonade. Love the bloopers part as always.
We miss the fresh lemonades! The cheese was good, we tried making it at home but it didn’t workout. 🙃
In Faro you didn't visit Arco da Vila - an old town gate. The Old Town and the Carmo Church are the most beautiful and interesting parts.
You're right! The Arco da Vila in particular is quite impressive. Good suggestions for anyone headed to Faro.
Can we take our dog with us?
Hi! We didn’t see any dogs inside the parks on either side. The walkways can be a bit tight at times so not sure they would allow them. I suggest double checking the park websites but from what we can see they aren’t allowed.
Woiuld it be possible to share the contact for your Airbnb? It is so lovely. I am going to travel to Braga in August. Thank you.
Hi! You're going to have a blast in Braga! We checked with the Airbnb host and the unit we rented is currently rented out for a year. They do have another unit that is currently available: www.airbnb.com/rooms/979446744062483295

Did yall give the poor thing water?
Fortunately, the businesses are really dog friendly. Many had water and food out for the dogs. 😊
How did you find the butterfly
We were lucky! It found us. 💛We saw many black and red but this one was the only one with this color. And it just landed on my foot and stayed there for a while!
