    Nice video, but, where are your fender covers?

    Thanks for the video. Looks like I'm 6 years late to the party.
    Tried to install those same oil cooler lines in my 2010 MT Base today and was like screw it, these crooked pipes are not both going through that maze to get to the front.
    I'll come up with something else, probably removing the crooked solid metal ends, snaking the flexible lines through, then reattaching the metal ends.
    Or something!

    I'm in the middle of installing the Improved Racing cooler on my 2011. After struggling for 15 minutes to get the new shroud in place, it occurred to me, "This looks like it was meant to go in from the bottom." :/ Great video, thanks for sharing.

    real PITA wasnt it? That shroud is no joke. With the Eforce kit I eliminated the oem cooler and added the newer style oem oil to water cooler from the later models and the oil temps increased by 50 degrees or simply match the water temps. I'd like to add back in an oil to air cooler into the dry sump lines...wonder if that could be done in tandem with the oil to water cooler. Anyway, good video and showing what we go through in order to make improvements in our vehicles.

      NY Plantings yes, reallllll PITA! I want to say my buddies 2012 Grand sport had the new water cooled oil cooler and the air cooler on his car from the factory.

    Nice mod, Do you have oil temperature improvement numbers?

    It takes a longer for the oil to heat up. But that cooler works really well.

      Long to heat up?? That's because you should have got a Thermostatic Oil Cooler Adapter...I'm glad I just found out about this or I would have been saying what you said lol

    I appreciate your hard work and great video but I went ahead and bought a nice Hayden cooler for $50 with two long lines and tapped it in series with the transmission lines. Much simpler and temp dropped 15 degrees

      Phil C. Thanks! Yeah I was tempted to do that but I really wanted that oem oil cooler fitment. With that said... good Lord that radiator shroud was a pain!

    I had a body shop pull the front bumper for paint. They said it was pretty easy to do.
    Is there anything I can check for to make sure they didn’t damage anything once I get the car back ? They had to replace the shroud not the whole cooler. Car is a z06. Thanks.

    • @RaztechPowersports
      @RaztechPowersports  Před 2 lety

      Yeah that front bumper is pretty easy to remove. It was damaged? I would just look for oil leaks honestly. Not much else you can look at

      @@RaztechPowersports thanks. Nope no damage to my knowledge. I was just concerned Since the car has very low mileage and I’m trying my best to took it all original so I wasn’t sure if there was anything I should look for that they may have done wrong when installing the plastic shroud with the cooler in it. So it’s just held at the bottom by clips and pins ?
