Valve has YET again UPDATED CS2, sending out 2 SMALL blog posts Patching outstanding and NEW bugs stemming from the recent “on the other hand” UPDATE. Counter-Strike 2’s ANTI-CHEAT has continuously RECEIVED shadow UPDATES making it MORE vocal for Cheaters to stay out of CS2, Meanwhile it could be from the addition of Overwatch inside CS2, Valve’s Tweaks or The future UPDATE of the NEW CS2 Anti-Cheat. had a guy on casual game who was rage hacking for 3-4 rounds and wasn't kicked( but he did get vote kicked and I reported him so hopefully ban happens)
I personally havent seen someone get kicked in ages lol

no but I played over 10 MM matches the last 2 days without a single obvious cheater. this feels very refreshing, maybe just luck tho.
id let anti cheats see my browser history if it meant less cheaters. i have pretty much stopped play multiplayer games all together because it has gotten so bad.

Thing is, enough people wouldn't be willing to that it is worth finding a workaround, you aren't the only person playing the game online
simple fix to this. Keep your important documents in another computer and let AC be invasive as possible. Vanguard was able to detect Arduino cheats recently which basically was super hard to detect because the cheats itself is on a board. Cheating has gotten out of hand i suspect over 25% of players in the FPS community are doing it if not more.
@@Astelch Not everyone has a second computer. Besides me and most people would like to game on the same computer we daily drive for everything else. I get it people want to get rid of cheaters but you should be wary of willing to offer KERNEL access to a program that's closed source and with no idea what it actually does behind the hood, that is simply just invasive.
if some do not care about their data other people do.
There could be other ways, maybe VACnet can be a solution we have yet to see.
Guess you didn't hear the news about Vanguard bricking peoples PC's then. be thankful Valve are a relatively pro consumer company compared to Riot, they;ve spent the time since trying to cover up it is happening

yesterday after the update, 1 dude was wallhacking vac didn't detect it.
we went from 04-10 to 13-11 because the team kicked the cheater. Mad respect!

Thought I’d give premier a go after seeing loads of videos about the new nan waves. First game and enemy team has a spinbotter lol, mint.
Reason why you cant switch your skins ingame becouse the gameserver needs to get your inventory data before the game starts but inventory Server are slow sometime so now as Soon as you start searching for a Match the Queue server will store your loadout and send it to the gameserver if a game is found. Atleast thats what i heard about it.
I thought that CS2 just didn’t show the gloves in the player preview screen because my gun skins always showed but my gloves would just show as default this has been since cs2’s release. I guess the games just bugged as shit thank god they fixed it because that bothered me a lot.
Not really, I just had that bug recently for me it was normal like 3 weeks ago

was literally watching this video when leetify send me a message saying a guy from a match was banned, and when I looked at it I saw it was a game ban on a cheater that was rage hacking(in 5K elo)

Do you think cs2 will get like a "mega operation" to bring back stuff from cs go? Or will we just get this slow burn of content like a live service game? I always found it weird that they showed off lake and train in the promotional stuff for the game

just saw you have resortmadness installed Im the one who ported that one over to source 2 from gmod... and for me each update is a nightmare the lastest ones messed up the navigation of the map entirely and somehow now my compiler crashes with the GPU device error lost.... updating maps each time the game gets an update is just....... painful
So far they only banned players who used the no spread and rapid fire cheats. I played on one of my alts last need to grind the weekly care package only to find the first game I joined a player was raging like a beyblade right on pistol round. Luckily my team was cool and quickly vote kicked him. But there's apparently a lot of cheaters on discords who are just going all out now because they know they're gonna get banned soon so they're just trolling as much as they can until the hammer hits them. Hoping it's sooner than later because there was probably on average in a casual lobby of 20 players 1-2 wallers per full match.
I think that intrusive anti cheat for primeer is resenible and for normal mm like it is now
Now I just need a blood toggle and Ill be happy.

When does Valve update all skins to new CS2 weapon models?
From what I've heard its the original designers who have to do it but only time will tell
The skin swap thing kinda makes sense for Comp games cause if you think about it.

There's already brand new accounts cheating after the ban wave. 3-4 says ago I've had about 15 matches with no cheaters. Only today, out of 4 matches, we had an obvious cheater in 2, scouting us through walls etc. Both brand new accounts.
I have almost 6k hours in this game, used to be global and this is just sad. I hope these new accounts get cleaned up too.

In CS2 most of the Updates break more then they FIX so waiting 6-12 hours to make a video to see what was changed purposely or on accident IMO is the best call.

Kernel level anticheats work on Linux... Kinda. It would require some smart people in order to make proper environment integrity checks that can't be easily bypassed by modification of the kernel... I've heard that faceit is working with another game in order to implement most likely kernel level anticheat into that other game, that might be kernel level on Linux, since they said it will be "supported on **popular** Linux distributions", which might be a hint to them developing a mechanism that prevents cheating by verification of the kernel environment (as in: making sure your kernel drivers aren't cheats and are trusted)

Demo playback is not "better then ever" bro, or can you now finally press the "watch high/lowlights" button? Also my main account is still wrongfully banned by VACNet AI 300+days ago for tge high dpi issues back in beta... I wish some CZcamsrs finally respond to this topic and make a documentary or interview of multiple people that got banned like that, and also for people who dont believe this happened you could check their recent demos as a makeshift 'Overwatch'. Im still after all this days hoping for justice! I lost 20k inventory and investments because of this crap 😔
