& other places put the pee outside near an ant colony; if the ants drank it, it was sweet.
this is true! It's because diabetics have excess sugar in their blood so when the blood reaches the kidneys, it's filtered out as waste and sent to your bladder. It was also common to put some of the urine near ants and see if it would attract them since they would smell the sugar

While I also dislike the change, I think I saw somewhere they did it because the algorithm has decided it doesn't like reddit meaning videos showing subreddit names have a lower reach, so its somewhat understandable.

What to know something, the only reason why cats proceed to do eat their dead owners is either if all of their food is gone( or completely out of their reach to get ), or they are depressed by their owner not answering them. Because cats will continue to give love bites and licking their owners so for about a few hours of them continuously doing it. They wouldn’t really notice they started eating them until they fill full. I learned of this from a vet who had to sadly put a kitty down after their owner died. So it’s really for survival but dogs actually do it the most comparatively to dogs versus cats.
yeah, i've never understood people who say cats are bad because they'd eat you if you died...like, first of all i imagine a dog would too if there were no options, but even if they didn't, would you rather your pet starve to death??
