  • Thanks for watching! Grand Tourer? Yes. Speed? Absolutely yes! The ingredients of a Bentley are stirred together and after about 45 minutes @ 400 degrees, it comes out as one of the most iconic grand tourers of all time. The W12 engine propels you forward with the grace and power of a private jet, only with slightly more diamond stitched leather. We were honestly surprised by just how serene an automobile can be, and we had an exciting (and quite relaxing) time.
Hayfields was popping off today! Tons of awesome spots including several 993 911's, a replica 1600 speedster, and a cool track-spec Lotus (we're not entirely sure of the exact model).

Another great video, guys. Other than the maintenance nightmare, I’d love to own one. Maybe in my next life when I have eleventy billion dollars. Sigh.
Question I’ve been wondering about. How do you handle the insurance? I know uncle Douggy has each car authorized for his use on his special insurance. I mean, I know my insurance wouldn’t allow me to drive that and I’d have to sell my condo if I totaled it.
Do you scout at C&C for other cars and owners to let you feature their car? I know you’re relatively new but you’re pretty professional and I’d do it if I felt insurance safe. Do you take requests? I’d love your take on my Stinger GT2 but you need to drive a later model than mine for the proper experience. It ain’t no Bentley but it’s fun. I’m still for the most part the mystery car at C&C. Though more do know what it is now then in 18 when I first brought it. I’m still the only one at the show, too. Just a few times some fb buddies showed up with me. I cheat, I’m rebadged so it only says the brand on my tire valve stems and license plate bolt heads. LOL I do use proper logos though like the stylized K.
Another fun video, keep it up!

      Joe,
Thank you!! Same with us, it's so incredible that unless buying it is not even close to straining our wallets, it would be nerve-racking. Who knows, maybe you get twelvity billion in this life haha.
Insurance, that's a fantastic question. Insurance hasn't been a concern to us for a couple of reasons. Car insurance typically covers the car, and unless there is an extraneous circumstance, they don't exactly care about who's driving. Doug mentions how insurance companies would question or even deny claims if the car was "lent" to a "business" or even something as simple as "a strange drove your car". As Doug explained in one of his videos, his insurance is for essentially commercial filming (movies, tv shows, etc...). We don't make any money off of these videos, it's just a hobby. Insurance like Doug has is (naturally and understandably) extremely expensive, beyond our budget. Additionally, the cars we've filmed with so far have all been sourced from people we know personally. Both of these things make it easier to explain to an insurance company should something happen, to a level that us and the owners are comfortable with.
That being said, as we continue to make videos and branch our to do the cars of people we don't know personally, that starts to enter that gray area. We would need to do more research for that, or at the very least come up with a consistent plan for how we put the owners' mind at ease, so to speak. We understand how important cars are, and we take that responsibility seriously. Anything the owner would need from us to be comfortable, we can try to accommodate.
Your offer is exceptionally generous, and we really appreciate it! Experiencing any car is the fun to us, from Bentley to Toyota, we have a good time. We are "booked" out about 2 months, but we'd be happy to schedule something. If you could, send me an email (e@manualmotion.com). We'll coordinate something and I can answer any questions you may have.
      Thanks again! - Evan

@@manual-motion I should have said, but for being in Los Angeles, oops. LOL. I’m a worry wart and would say better safe than sorry and would verify coverage. I know you’re not doing anything crazy but that’s why they’re called accidents. I wish for you much success. I like your vibe and the two of you work well together.
