CZcamsr Karim Jovian ( Karim Jovian and Karim Jovian Plays) is an amazing and powerful voice for peace and understanding, calling social injustices out and fighting for tolerance - making a real difference.
But his perspective wasn't always one of tolerance and acceptance - in fact, his heart was filled with hate and intolerance. He was totally homophobic, hating gay people. He had to go through some tough experiences, and grow from them, to learn about acceptance, and it has helped him become who he is today!
Hatred of homosexuality is something Karim is proud of and he's learned a valuable lesson that all lives matter. We are all human beings, and homophobia, bigotry and prejudice can not only physically and mentally hurt other people, it an keep you from understanding humanity. life and even joy. You might not understand it or agree with it, but intolerance, hate and violence solve nothing.
While the negative feelings in his early life towards gay people still bother him, he thankful he had the opportunity to meet and understand people who helped him to see only love and respect for all people not matter their identity or preference.

@@GalacticAnimationsYTI don't really believe it is self-defense when someone doesn't pose a physical danger to you.
He also hurt him very bad for simply touching him in non-sexual places. He could've easily killed him by doing that.
The kid also never said anything rude or mean in any way. He only touched him.
The main character guy physically harassed/harmed him, put his life in danger, and did it largely because he was homophobic. And he admitted he did it because he's homophobic. If he were to be prosecuted and in court for it, it could be counted as a hate crime.
It would be unlikely to have resulted in anything since no death was caused, they were kuds, and his victim was gay. There is a documented type of testimony/plea called the "Gay Panic Defense" which means that, an attacker or murderer might get no or little sentence if their victim is gay and the defendant claims to have been put into a state where they had no choice but to murder. Due to their victim being gay and showing interest in them/in general. Because, they argue, any reasonable person would be brought to murder, even if morally uptight, when faced with being close to a gay person or being asked out on a date by one. It's very sad. It doesn't work everywhere or in every courtroom, but, it is a thing and a documented bias in the courtroom.

writer didn't do the animation, so the animation could be a bit exaggerated. But I do agree his friend did go too far in the writer's story as he should have stopped when he was asked to. I do feel that he could of responded a bit better and not of lashed out so aggressively, this is me only taking the words of the writer. In a situation where its like the animated version especially if the person is not taking the hint, first try and leave, if that doesn't work then hit them once and runaway, and then tell someone you trust. I was in a similar type of situation myself were the person grabbed me from behind and wasn't letting go once I gave the person 3 very clear warnings and then kneed them and left. They never bothered me again.

Attacking someone because they keep touching you even when you say "no, enough" does not make you homophobic, even if you were homophobic that does not mean people can touch you if you say stop *multiple times* . Beating someone up because they are gay is different from beating someone up because you are being sexually harassed. he were not going out of he was to hurt gay people, the only time he admitted to hurting someone was because they touched you after you said stop, him being gay was just coincidence. Despite the fact the he said he di, he never really hated gays he just didn't understand. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy made this video because someone told him he was being homophobic. Kids there’s nothing more cool than being hugged by someone you like, but if someone tries to touch you in a place or way that makes you feel uncomfortable that’s no good.
It’s your body, no one has the right to touch you if you don’t want them to.
So what do you do? First you say NO! then you get out of there!
Most important, you gotta tell someone you trust like your parents a teacher or a police officer!

I mean being homophobic was not cool and he definitely was a little too quick to get physical but in the situation with his friend he was not in the wrong. He was touching him after being told to stop.

I think he was right to do a self defense because his friend was literally sexually harassing him by touching him without his permission.

He went too far and he knows that. The gay kid could have been abused and thought it was ok. He was right to defend himself but he also beat him down when it wasn't necessary.

@@skullingtonfx4441 I love how you automatically just assume he was abused. Besides how was the guy supposed to know if his friend was abused? Doesn't make any since, if someone is assaulting you like that you should definitely have the right to punch them back

@@JackBlackYonko I agree he had the right to punch him back. But I doubt the other kid is a monster like people are saying. I'm only assuming because that's a literal symptom of abuse. I still dont think he deserved a whole beatdown, only if that punch didnt knock some sense into him

I personally like milk before cereal. Mainly because of my trauma at pouring in the cereal and then there being spoiled milk poured right after it! I've actually accidentally dranken spoiled milk so I'm just gonna tell you it's terrible and I would never want it in my cereal. So I put the milk first so I can make sure it isn't spoiled
